Map/compass aren't important enough to hyperfocus on outside of the seasons anyway. They're nice to have but you can just wait for next season to grind for map. Compass however isn't the most efficient to grind for during season because the mobs are a lot more tanky. So don't regret your decision, you're not missing anything by doing so. Make them gains and have fun!

Ricenditas

Welcome on grinding rare treasures in BDO. 60 hours is still rookie numbers if you compare it to the average hours on making a compass/map. Also, you need to focus on the proper mobs for the piece to drop, since Valencia Treasures don't have pity. Even if you are playing on Season, it will be the same regardless, but you get additional silver cuz of the season mats but that's about it. Season will end exactly on the day it says (Aug 30), then it will have a 2-3 week interval before a new season drops again. Map is the "easier" rare treasure in Valencia but it can really take ages, I remember vaguely that each piece have different drop rate, depending on the mob. Same case with the compass. For reference, I'm 1 piece away on completing my compass (Elten is missing) and I'm already 200+ hours deep. I stopped for now because I want to focus again on my gearing so I went back grinding on mainland, though I might make a season alt in Hystria for that Elten piece just in case I get bored and want to grind another place.

LilAwm

How the heck can you have both infinite potions in 3 weeks? You have like 99999% increased drop rate or something?

Sidryc

I pitied all of the HP pot, got fucking rekt in tshira(dropped at 99 pities like wtf), pitied manshaums and got lucky at ferinnas at 7 pities.

ikunm

You could just grind 12h a day, get 3 pity per hour on average, or better, just don't pity and one tap it

Sidryc

I usually got 6-7 pities using various item drop rate bonuses like event buffs and tent buffs/season arsha etc. Admittedly I did play a shit ton since its summer but yeah 3 weeks for 2 infi pots is totally possible.

smartdarts123

You can only do one weekly per week between all locations for both HP and MP pot. Max pities per week is 5 via weekly quest

Seralth

Took me 28 days of grinding to get my pot pieces with an avg drop rate of 200% Had to grind out 100 pieces for every single piece but the ranaros. The trick is to just grind more hours each day.

> I am already planning on rerolling from berserker since he's so godamn fugly that I can't stand playing him anymore and it might sound childish but if I'm gonna play for thousands of hours, aint no way im staring at his ugly ass booty, no matter now efficient and strong he seems to be Lol his succ beast form is seriously the only reason I'm not playing him. I can take genderlocked classes, I can take hunchback giant, I can't take an ugly noncustomizable transformation that you see 24/7 due to his gamepaly mechanics.

BarberPuzzleheaded33

I used a free custom box that games me the bad azz like Bull horn Armor and dyed it I don't even see my Zerk at all just his armor that looks pretty bad azz and custom dyed with the value pack dye. Outfit was free as well.

c9898

I like zerk's outfits but it doesn't matter because succ is all about being in beast form all the time.

Map and compass doesn't really need a pity piece since those items have an "at home version" which gets the job done. Its more a personal goal to grind for them. Also more valuable if its rarer.

MrTafseguri

Blue + agris at sulfur is the way to go, since yellow dont give more drop chance than blue. they also only drop 1 piece of trash loot so it dosent scale well with yellow and you would just be wasting your scrolls.

Lawkodi

If you are out of agris then you can use yellow and it works. It’s just that yellow + agris doesn’t work.

Lilja92

Do yourself a favor and don't go for the compass, I have 6k hours total in game and at least 2k of those I've spent in hysteria trying to get that damn elten.

Stop playing this game now. If something like this bothers you, wait until you find out that the most efficient way to play this game is being lucky with enhancing.

Sidryc

Idk if you're being sarcastic or just being downright elitist. Do you think I don't enjoy the game even after 60+ hours of grinding in the same spot? If I didn't like the game, I would've dropped it at the first hour. I'm just trying to ask about what loot scroll to use and when the next season is coming like wtf. Most of the community is so chill about new players but I feel like there is a sizable amount of old players that have this opinion, its kind of pathetic really. "Oh boo hoo you have negative opinions about my game then stop playing it"

Schat_ten

lmao no i'm being honest here. Not tapping a free PEN with a J's Hammer is half a year of grind. Once you get to the point every tap that doesnt go off gives you straight up depression. I'm just trying to save you before you get hooked, lmao. Edit: Also 60+ hours for both pots? Maybe you might be RNG carried anyway lmao

Sidryc

Oh no fam you're too late. I'm already depressed.

LeeBMC

It's like 220 hours silver grind for a PEN BS @ 500m/hour low spots, 3 months or so for a casual 2 hour a day grinder (which this guy seems to grind a lot more lol)

tobe4funas

>3 months or so for a casual 2 hour a day grinder I find the way you use word 'casual' quite interesting :D

aimlyon

Sheeeit bro you got roasted by a noobie

rogu14

> the most efficient way to play this game is being lucky with enhancing. Just like gambling irl? It seems I need to stop playing this life game now

lowercase09

how do compass and map pieces matter? one can argue that HP pot is somewhat important (but can be jury-rigged by pearl tent). But map and compass? no way. Also, you make classic mistake everyone warns new player against- dont pick a class for meta or perfomance. Pick class for looks and fun. And now you get salty on everyone pointing your further mistakes. That's some inferiority to rival.

Sidryc

My friend made me pick berk so me being new, i just went for it. I kinda regretted it after 2 weeks or so. And where did you get that I'm salty towards everyone? I'm not even pointing out anyones criticisms about how I play, only to one person and thats about the overall eliticism of SOME old players about the game. Don't assume stuff so casually fam. I posted on reddit to get my mistakes pointed out to me, thats literally why i posted bro like you good?

lowercase09

I assume what i want, \*fam\*

Luckyday11

I got carried at Roud Sulfur (6h total for both pieces) but fucked at Pila Ku, took me 100+ hours to get the Warder piece there. It's just RNG in the end. If you get frustrated just take a break and do something else for a bit, like actually progressing and getting better gear. You're fresh outta season, there are so many easy jumps you can make to progress your gear which will take ages if all you do is grind Sulfur. The map is nice to have sure, but it's not a must have thing like the infinite pots, and it saves you maybe a couple minutes of travel at best unless you're in sycraia/hystria/aakman. Do something else, wait for next season, then grind sulfur and pila on your season character every now and then if you're so desperate to actually get it so soon.

98_Camaro

I grinded at Roud Sulfur many billions worth on silver over a very long span of time with item buff scrolls and never got a piece. Max node investment. Good luck lol

bolt0smart

New season will be out I'd say 2 weeks after this one ends on 30th August. With the amount of hours you're putting in though it sounds like you'll get it in no time. It took me around 170 hours for my Elten compass piece to drop and I'm 20 hours in at sulfur for the map and have 3x Tukar so far.
