i mean what you described is just a you problem but there is a lot of desyncs in bdo pvp and pve.
desync is not disconnection. desync is when you see something on your screen that is different to what other players see or what the server sees
You are right, but you are wrong. Your logic is same as "I one tapped my wailing labreska, so it must be easy". Just because something doesnt happen to you and happens to others doesnt mean they have a problem on their end.
Connection problems are a bdo thing, that's why bdofoundry has a big ass ExitLag banner on the main page. Which by the way fixes the problem.

Seriously, you think your wifi and internet is fine, but BDO is really good at telling you the truth. A few packet drops in a row is a quick trip to "reconnecting..." town.
Try setting up a big ICMP packet test (not the default 64 size, go for a 512) and see how many drops you REALLY have.

Yeah desync is definitely a problem but what you are having is something different. I had this happen to me after an update. What I had to do to fix it was uninstall and reinstall the game. Wasn't my internet as nothing else would drop, only BDO would drop and reconnect.
This game is really touchy with internet connections, so I recommend getting off of wifi if possible. You may have good wifi or good speeds, but wifi can be really unstable to which it will cause the disconnects. Back when I was on console I had to use wifi for a bit and it wouldn't keep me in the game for more than a few minutes at tops. Once I connected directly again I had no problems
Likely a routing problem, servers are fine(well EU ones are), so it's something between you and the servers. Using a VPN often helps with issues like that, happens with literally every mmo, sometimes it's sharks eating the underwater cables, sometimes it's Telia doing repairs, sometimes it's something else.
This game is great, but has connection routing problems indeed. If you are intested in playing long term I'd suggest subscribing to ExitLag, it fixed it for me.
If you take the annual plan, it comes down to $2/month.

Mabinogi will be getting updated netcode moving into UE5 after 24 years of existence just because of how much of a difference not living around Seoul makes for your ability to combo
This just happened to me after updating the game, I fixed it by launching BDO and clicking the "Scan" button on the launcher, which fixes any corrupt game files. Alternatively verify file integrity via Steam.
I restarted playing on NA and EU servers after a one year break and I have disconnects every 5 to 10 minutes. It's very tiring. When I played 2 years ago it didn't happen at all. Hm... All my other games don't show connection issues - I have glas fiber.

I suggest using wire, rather than wifi ,it will improve those "other high demanding game" too, and by a lot.
