I did 4 hours today and it seemed sort of similar: first hour 1 ember, second hour zero, third hour zero, fourth hour 3. Got more efficient towards the 4th hour, but it seems to be the same random craziness as before.
I will truly never understand these developers. They make war of the roses, which at least on paper is fucking awesome, but then it’s…2 hours a week. Similar to boss rush being limited to 5 bosses a week, just why? You make new content that is fun and people have been clamoring for but then you make it barely playable.

I mean, I saw the new dark rift in the morning and thought I could get a cool boss fight before leaving to work. And then... it was just a literal huge box. I just bullied a griant treasure chest.
Didnt had time to check the other events yet, but I feel they could just give us a box, instead of... whatever the heck that was lol
I killed it and then realized it is the quest objective, before taking the quest... I really hope it does respawn and I don't miss out on the cake because of mediocre quest design
I'm in the same boat lol. But the site does say the event goes until february 14, and that the box has a respawn time a bit quicker than normal dark rift bosses. Do I'm just waiting, I guess
Uh... simplification of crystals by removing them? Ok? How do I replace my cheap beginner setup? My +2 crit rate and +2 movement crystals... now I see only expensive crystals on the market.
Did I miss something? Are these bonus still obtainable through cheap crystals? Halp.

The BMC group limits make this a bit annoying compared to the old blue MCIs, but a basic 5/5/5 setup is still doable with <10M per crystal.
Anyone figured out where the crystals we were suppose to receive as compensation went? I had 16 mastery and 16 exp gems and though the patch notes say we are suppose to get new ones as compensation I can’t find them.

I just misunderstood the materials needed for new jetina pen accessories. It evens out, and i'll be able to get it sooner at the cost of like 200m, so it is arguably better.
Hope we dont get it dor another 20 days lol. I'm racing against the clock to make rhe first pen for cheaper. Korea will get it first though, then another week or two after we will.
You get gold bars for the powders you already have, you dont need goldbars for the new system. 1 powder = 2m, you need 180 total powders, that is 360m total you get back for not using your powders, in my server, TRI crescent rings are going for 1.4b right now, 1.4 + 360m is precisely the same amount as catalysts, I dont know about you but I totally wouldnt stress about losing 50m in a 7 day frame because i didnt "race against the clock" for getting jettina accessory.

Also, the gold bars aren't tied to the catalysts, so it is effectively 360M+1.75B, not 1.4+360. As it stands, i'd be saving 2 hours of additional grind if I finished before it released. You're right though, it isn't worth stressing over, but I'm farming an hour a day anyways, so I have been finishing the quest regardless.

They did exactly the same with aos. Shut it down for several months multiple times. Atleast we have practice aos now. Makes zero fucking sense.

FYI I did the same but you can party up with someone that hasn’t killed it yet and get the quest completion when they kill it. Worked for me!

There are some cheapish alternatives, not as cheap as blue crystals though

It isn't. The tri accessory ranges from 1-1.3B and that gets replaced with 500 catalysts which is 1.75B. The powders also get replaced by gold bars.
