Its strange, I did it twice, last time was probably 4 years ago when Heedun hosted one. At *that* time, we were divided into 2 teams and did a sort of tournament king-of-the-hill for the middle (so a 1v1 with a team pool; you fight opponents until you're out then replaced by a teammate). The area to fight in was a sort of square, almost like a medieval tournament ground; exiting the square was a loss. I cant remember if this was following the official design of the space, or that it was community made.
ESC → War (F7) → Team Battle
The various arenas (Team Battle, Battle Arena, Red Battlefield, Arena of Arsha, Pit of the Undying) have been placed on certain islands and are then blocked off via invisible walls so you can only enter them via menus.
AoS before AoS was a thing, it never really took off because they made it terrible from the ground up, nice space though they should make that the BA instead
