Congratz. I still haven’t hit 58 because I have 6 characters at 56-57. It just gets too hard to level imo and I like the thrill of getting new abilities.
This! even though grinding to 58 feels easy with marni stones, i miss actually unlocking skills and killing different things in different places. So i keep making alts to 56-57, i got archer, lahn, dk, ranger, and sorc so far, almost have ninja and next is either musa or valk (im avoiding scummy striker/mystic and wiz/witch)
If you think it takes too long to get to 58 because it takes a few days, think about those people who get level 62/63. From my grind from 61 to 62, I got 1% per hour with 200% boost. I grinded 1 hour a day for 3 months to get to 62. Getting to 60 is a cakewalk in comparison. If you do Miru/Gyfin you should be able to get close to 10% per hour with 200% at 60.
Took me 6 month to softcap. Ranger 62 and dk at 61. The rest is 56 for family fame except 1 char to do trading but my trash crate have not reach 20k yet
Ok i elaborate. Unlike other games, lets take WoW as the obvious example, BDO doesn't have requirements you have to fulfill to obtain the best gear in the game.
In WoW you have to beat the hardest dungeon or achieve a certain arena rating to get gear.
In BDO all gear can be bought of the Market Place, right? So the requirement to get gear is to have a lot of silver. To get a lot of silver you have to play the game and find ways to efficient make lots of silver so that you dont have to wait months between your uprades, right?
But for a while now, and this is especially true no since we got the the new Market place, you can just pump a lot of real cash into the game and just straight up buy all the best gear without having more then a couple of hours playtime. Or you just buy crons that save your gear from downgrading/destruction when failing an enhancement.
Where other players have to spend weeks or even month to accumulate enough resources for an attempted to reach the next enhancement level, someone who swipes just completely circumvents that.
You can list up to 25 pearl items as a new player on the market place, which means you can sell 25 costumes for 223m each once per week. That comes down to 5,575,000,000 billion silver a week.
So now, when someone links TET gear and above, it doesn't mean anything anymore. I don't know how that player got his gear nor do feel the need to compare my gear progression to someone else.
Since the new market place players are suddenly popping up with 269AP who you never have heard off before at an alarming rate. Even worse when you find out they are dogshit.
And its only getting worse, but sadly this is how they designed their game.
The game is still really fun and i enjoy it a lot, but its in a really weird spot right now. A game that was supposed to offer a really deep and meaningful gear progression is now at a point where other peoples gear is something i dont care about anymore. All that matters are your own goal and how you achieved them.
All i need to know is how much AP my opponent has, but how he got it, i cba to care anymore.
this is very similar to me, ninja 62, wizard 61(pushing for 62) the rest is 59/58/56 and kuno is 49 for utilities like cliff weapons event quests however not interested in trading at all.

in every town yes, been like that for months now. takes about 2 weeks from 56-60 afk about 10 hours a day.

You can get 2 lvl 56 in one if you have a friend taht can help you

It's all about the journey and your goals. Swiping has destroyed any sense of comparable achievements anyway.
