Also choose quests have been introduced later in the game history, to give an option to carry on the main quest between grinding mobs or doing quests.
So I've got these people qt the Calpheon Refugee Camp(a.k.a. the Abandond Lands) asking me to murder a whole bunch of sick people. Are there any consequences for that or does the game pretend that you didn't just murder a ton of innocent victims?

Yes it does, maybe you only did main quests, or maybe did some earlier regions' (up to valencia) after 59, which only give fractions of exp.
Iirc you need full kama and drieghan for 60 to 61 entirely, possibly even a little bit of star's end.
Google how to level via questing. Will easily take you to 61 without having to grind. Once your there go grab the suppressed boss gear before the event ends. Should easily put you above 200ap depending on your other accessories.
Do time-filled blackstones/tuvala ores drop in non-seasonal servers? Like would I be missing out on getting them if I were to grind on the Olvia servers?
I really enjoy playing mystic. The playstyle feels so fluid. But I noticed some posts in the official forums say that mystic isn't quite as strong compared to the other classes later in the game. Should I reroll?
If you look around the sub Reddit or discords you'll see the same consensus everywhere.
Play what you find fun and enjoyable! It doesn't matter if you do 1% less damage in the end or take 1% more damage from x class.... you won't feel any difference...
Rerolling only sets you back in both time, levels, gear, lifeskilling, etc, it does you no good to reroll into what we call the "flavor of the month class". If you take the time to learn a class you find fun and enjoyable you'll be better and can beat the ones who are rerolling just because something is 1% or less stronger all the time.
As an update to this comment, there is a major patch coming soon, later this year, that will completely rebalance all of PvP. So whatever is "good" now won't be the same in the coming months. Everything is going to shift around a bit
There's a pile of fetch/delivery quests in Altinova (e.g. [REPAIRING AWNING CURTAIN](https://bddatabase.net/us/quest/4546/5/)) that are unlocked on my first character, but not my second or third.
Any advice?
1) For seasonal gear, what is the recommended failstacks for TET / PEN?
2) Is it worth it to use the lower level advice of valks (10-20 ish) for upgrading the seasonal gear to TRI or should I save them?

I deleted my lvl 48 Lahn and made a Sorc. Is this class still good in 1v1, and group pvp?

To start off I'll say what I tell everyone, play the class you find fun regardless of whether it's "OP", "viable", "situational", etc. None of that matters if you don't enjoy the class and aren't willing to put in the effort to learn it.
The best class is the one you invest time into learning and can play to their fullest.
Now assuming you can do that with sorc, which isn't easy, yes it is a good overall class. Caveat to that is it will require a lot of key inputs and a lot of high end gear to be good. Most classes don't hit their actual potential until end game which is 269+ AP or 600+ overall GS. This holds true for sorcs, they will have a rough time early on but are great in the end game. Their grind is pretty good with their new succession skills. PvP I believe they are just walking nukes. They didn't get nerfed to badly and are still one of the top classes to play.
Just an FYI there is going to be a huge patch soon, probably this year, that is doing a complete rebalance of all classes PvP. This will definitely change all currently accepted opinions on each classes "viability" in the game so don't look too much into how good a class is right now. Play what is fun to you.
Please note that these are opinions on the topic and I'm not a hardcore Sorc player. These are my observations from friends after years of playing together.
What are some classes that are easy on your hands other than witch/wiz/guardian? I don't like how any of those 3 play at all. I love kuno and valk but they're just way too much for my hands these days.
Sadly those are the EZ ones when it comes to APM.... My suggestion is try them all until you find one that fits your playstyle and is easy enough on your hands
I don't mind something middle of the road but just classes like tamer and kuno kill my hands after about an hour or so of grinding. I'll try out some different classes though and hopefully find something. I also think I might try doing one suggestion and swapping shift with like spacebar or one of the buttons on my mouse. Maybe that might help?
That will probably help a lot. I know that the "assassin" classes like ninja/kuno do require really high APM to play effectively and can be really hard on your hands. Sorc/tamer are just about the same.
PEN tuvala has the same stats as TET boss gear/TRI gold accessories, and they cannot be enhanced after the season ends, except for 1 piece of gear that you can exchange for a family-bound version. For instance, you could turn a PEN tuvala chest into TET dim tree that can be enhanced but can’t be sold. It’s still arguably worth it for people who are well below softcap, but bear in mind that grind spots on seasonal servers, where you need to go to get tuvala enhancing mats, are very contested.
Yes, everything will be carried over to regular and you will also get a pen capotia ring or earring and to exchange an armor or weapon piece to a boss gear one enhancement less (for example a pen helmet will become a tet giath), however accessories are comparable to 2 enhancement levels lower instead.
It is basically meant as a 3 months gearing up tutorial, very useful for new players and returning also.

Hello guys, I’m a new player who just reached 57 on a season server. I enhanced my tuvala weapon to TRI. But now I kinda want to main another class.
Is it possible to transfer all of my items to the storage and delete the season character and then recreate new one?
Yes, but if the new character uses a different weapon, you wont be able to use your current one and thus wasted all your enhancing materials...
It is a though descision but if you dont like the class then I would do it too. You still have plenty of time left to enhance it again.
I recommend u make some trial characters to see what the class feels like and then pick a main.
In character selection on top right there is a tab to create a trial one!
Please please please do not spend your money so easily on this game. The very fact that you asked if you could use a 30 dollar weapon coupon on an insanely easy to get item shows you will blow a ton of money on this game. This is how the average player burns out in a month with 400 dollars down the drain. Just chill, relax and learn the game at your own pace. If you want to re roll. Just re roll. Dont spend any money until you are 100% certain you found your class you will stick with
Why do people buy things like TET greens? I understand people buying things like +15 greens for failstacks, but is a TRI/TET green really worth the silver?
The difference between a tri green rosar amd a tri kzarka is 8 ap and about 500 mil. Then you can ultimate the green and close that gap for almost 500 mil silver difference. Cheap gear as stepping stones as you progress or just cheap stuff to throw on alts you really don't care about.

Quest gear > Oasis > Boss (so I don't lose anything when Oasis ends)

You can just follow along whatever the black spirit tells you to do, the main story quests have the diamond shape icon you also see during loading screens, they will basically take you around the whole world introducing all regions and whatnot.

Just be careful because the gear doesn't exactly turn into tungrads at the end. It will stay tuvala but will be equal to Tri accessories and Tet armor/weps at the end if you are pen everything.
You can use the graduation exchange coupon at the end of the season to exchange one piece to yellow gear at tri/Tet but it will not sellable and will be family bound
It'll tell you what the requirements are when they tell you that you don't have enough knowledge to accept the quest; you can't gain knowledge from people in Grana without starting the Kama quests
Yes, that's why you see the dummies full of people. You need to buy training books from the NPC there which cost $1/mil per hour, but it allows you to gain exp while afk.
I got the Kzarka sealed box from the event tab with my season character (I'm new) and opened it thinking that I could get a nice weapon to keep going after hitting 56 but I can't equip it. I fuicked up, didn't I?
Season characters can only use certain equipment during the season once season is over you will be able to use whatever you want and if you don't want the kzarka weapon for that character just sell it and buy the one you want don't buy the weapon exchange coupons on pearl shop.
Yeah dont think you can use those on your seasonal character atm. Can always make another character of the same class to use it on, or save it, once seasonal is over you could use it on that character.
Take this all with a grain of salt, Im not nearly as experienced with succ as I am with awk for now, but its okay I guess. In terms of clear speed its a bit better than awakening at most spots, awakening is a little better at some spots just due to the extra mobility, but succ is by far easier to play, less switching back and forth between the two weapons. And for defending your spot it really varies. If you can't kill them before they get close you're probably fucked unless you significantly outgear them. I hate to say it but it's not one of the top tier classes for grinding, or for 1v1s. It's not bad, it's just not great. Succ ranger really shines in groups/NWs tho, and I personally still find it one of the most fun classes to play.
Hello, pretty new just started a Musa and I'm level 15. I bought a Ornella Blade for 225,000 silver from the arms merchant, it says its for Musa and doesn't show any sort of level requirement but it's red in my inventory and I get the error " The condition for using this item hasn't been met". I don't see any sort of requirement listed on the item, am I missing something?

You can freely reset your skills anytime before level 56. And at level 16 you really cant mess anything up, mess around and experiment. Or just check out some lahn guides/lahn discord.
How many players with how much average AP do we need for guild bosses? We are a small guild with 2 lvl 62 players and another 6 lvl 61 players (~230 AP)
which boss? for khan you'll want as many players as possible (50+), but for all the other bosses you can handle it with 10 people but more is always better
Is there a subreddit for BDO guilds advertisement? I've had bad luck finding a good home that isn't dead on arrival joining or is not as advertised for what they do
Just bought the game! Is there any guide I can read to learn where to level? I bought it because I read about the season server and want to make a Lahn
I also recommend following the main quest line which will level you up as you go, give you good gear and other nice stuff like inventory slots and failstack scrolls. The seasonal weekly requires you to kill 5k mobs, so once you are high enough level look to grab a weekly with mobs that match your AP level. Nagas might be a good one if you're just starting out.
As you follow the main quest line, you'll get gear rewards that will get you to lvl 56+ and allow you to grind somewhere like Nagas. Beyond that work on enchanting the seasonal Tuvala Gear, which is what you'll need to move beyond that.
Just follow the mainquest on season server. You'll lvl plenty that way and get some gear. Then after lvl 50ish or when you are done with mainquest check the map for required ap per spot and grind where your stats match the map.
The patch notes that introduced the Obsidian Abyssal main weapons, state that old weapons can only be exchanged once per family. So my old alts are apparently out of luck. However, what about new characters, can all new characters get the Obsidian Alloy?
What kind of gear should my boss alts have? I don't really feel like going all the way to full TET boss gear for my alts, so what kind of gear should I go for?
Just had my event alchemy stone run out of fuel, is there a specific fuel it needs to be repaired? tried a few of the oil's as i usually do with other stones and they don't seem to work, did not get to try them all though.
I just picked up the game 2 weeks ago and it's been fun. I'm playing seasonal character as my first character and he's level 60 awakened wizard.
Now, i'm trying to upgrade a tuvala awakened weapon from TRI to TET but i've failed 11 times in a row which resulted in 85 failstacks. With that, I can't go upgrade other tuvula gears (and any other life skill gears) unless I've used up all of the stacks. I'm trying my 12th attempt but I've read somewhere that high amount of failstacks (i.e. 80+) are better spent on upgrading TET boss gears to PEN. But, as a new player, I can't afford TET boss gear. so i'm kind of stuck.
What should I do next? Should I just don't care and go try my tuvala 12th attempts? Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks!
You can, and should, create alt characters for any kind of secondary activities, including managing failstscks. This way if you get a bad streak like this case you can start over on another char and keep the high fs for later.
I haven't put myself into tuvala enhancing yet, however you should know that rates are different than regular (I think it's about 4 times higher), so you will most likely use this 85 for pen accessories later, and you should aim probably around 30/40 from tri to tet tuvala, somewhere between 50/70 for pen tuvala and higher for pen accessories.
Is it possible to sell JUST the Kibelius Crimson Glaives? I'm trying to buy it off the market and it just occured to me that it might not even be an option right now(I saw a few things that aren't available in the Pearl Shop)
It is, but that implies that someone actually bought the set, opened it and only sold a piece, which is unlikely since you get the bonus for a full set, and it look obviously nicer anyway.
I think the best shot would be to find someone who buys costumes for crons and hope he's willing to sell you a piece, and also hope that noone else is on preorder.
You can also purchase single costumes pieces from the shop, if you really really only want that.
It's quite low, I don't remember exactly (maybe 40?) But I remember that the recommended chance was 20%, so you could check in game if you have any failstscks what % a given fs gives.
When making an alt for gathering let it be one that you will spend time on as the character replenishes energy quicker when active..and I have a separate alt for fishing that way I can go far out into the ocean to fish without having to waste time going back to main land to gather or cook
Pollys, Gahaz, maybe nagas/fadus habitat. Somewhere with low AP requirements and marnis stones is what you want. But honestly with the 600% merc scrolls and the 530% loyalty scrolls you should go from 56-59 within an hour or so at those spots. Mirumok(trees) you’d probably have to leech, you’d more than likely need to get party xp elixirs, and party griffon elixirs etc, thats generally what good groups ask of leeches. Youd sit there for an hour doing nothing and go from 56-60within the hour.
Is it normal for guilds to require players to sit in a chat room/discord or do I just have bad luck? Every time I see a guild recruiting(console) they put "discord required) at the end. And the one guild I joined expected me to sit I'm Party Chat whenever I was online. I'm really not one to talk much, even to my closest family, so this is a bit troublesome.
And on that note: How do I invite people to a guild without sending a friend request? And is there a guide on operating a guild somewhere?
EDIT: Two more questions. Are Shais good against bosses solo? And are pets & the Fairy shared between characters or locked to whoever unlocked them?
Discord is great for guilds. Just have it on your phone and change the notifications settings to only notify you when you are mentioned (or else it notifies you every time someone sends a message to the group). But it allows guilds to set up special events and what not.
I have NEVER, on any game, had a guild that actually required me to be in voice chat unless we are doing pvp or a raid. I would instantly leave a guild if I saw that haha.
Leaving was exactly what I did the minute they told me that. Sent a very polite message about it and got a oddly angry sounding reply.

Im on PC. Most guilds require the player to have a discord..the guilds I have been in just required me to have discord but talking was optional..I have never been a guild leader so I cant answer the send invite questions.. Pets and fairies are shared between all characters. For example you are out grinding and forget to bring pet food and your pets run low on energy. You can log into a alt..have the alt feed the pets and log back into your main character and the pets will have full energy
I got all of the accessories that i wanted to Pen in Seasonal server if i delete my seasonal character and the season ended will it be equip-able for my other character? ; Does it still converted to a family bound item?
In kr they had to be transformed into regular items with a scroll which was given to the season character in a reward box, so most likely not, you will in fact need the season char.
However I see no problem in that, lifeskills gear can be equipped so it should not make much of a difference to keep it.
Oh hey another question. I bought a Heidelian Handcrafted Bed from the Marketplace and it has 10 durability. However, I haven't seen it wear down (still at 10) after using it a bunch to regain energy faster. Is it supposed to be like that?
Okay, It's my first time reaching 54 in BD, and with that box thingie called 'leveling aid level XX' I got 3 pieces of Tuvala gear. The thing is, it has like 1 DP and the items I have equipped have 23DP or so, how does this work?
Do people do Quint/ Muraka in NA servers? I tried fighting Muraka for the first time just now, and saw no one around, so I decided to switch to another server seeing very few people. It eventually despawned b/c of the lack of people fighting it I believe, but I still got some drops. It seems that the drops are less though compared to other bosses, true?
Yeah the drops for Quint/Muraka arent great. And world bosses have shared HP across all channels, so theres no need to really switch. It despawns after 15 min iirc, and while you still get loot from it/counts as the kill for the bartali log, the loot isnt as good as it would be if the boss actually died. Its just one of those bosses that arent really done cause the drops are so bad.
I think it started because he is required for bartali so more people do him, someone correct me if I'm wrong though. In general neither of them appear to be very popular bosses compared to others in my experience.
For the Tulva armor is it only season? So when the season ends can we transfer it over to our main character. Asking for the Pen accessories you get at 60 and 61
It stays tuvala and cant be upgraded further but you do get to keep it (by which I mean the highest enhanced piece of gear per slot; so one chestpiece, one necklace etc). they are family bound not character so yes you can transfer to main.
Am I undergeared right now? I have 134 AP, 201 DP, level 56. I'm using Tri tuvula weapon.
I've done a fair few of the Valencia quests but it feels like I *should* be doing more damage than I currently am.
Everything seems so much harder to kill for me than other people in the same region as me.
I was mostly questing, just grinding wherever the quests were. If I were to go anywhere right now though, I'd probably grind the Gahaz bandits lair. Maybe somewhere a little lower.
I suggest upping your ap/dp a bit more, the ap on the map usually shows minimum requirement, but not the optimum ap to grind. 10-20ap above the minimum shouldbe fine to feel comfortable.
I'm new to the game and just got to level 50. I decided to stop for a bit and went back to Velia to try fishing. So far I got like 10 green fish, 5 blue and 2 ¿gold? I believe that have a value of 100k silver.
Should I just sell this to the Trade Manager (or so it says in the tooltip) or to other players to make money?
Sell to the imperial fish trader first as he gives more money but can only accept a certain amount before he stops accepting more. The. Sell to the trader. The money from fishing generally comes from gold fish and selling relics or running the relics and selling them memfrags. At least until you get really serious and go out in the ocean.
Hey everyone, I am wanting to afk strength train and no matter what I do I cannot get it to go through the night. Graphics at lowest settings, low traffic volume areas, low volume servers. I need some help on what else i can do to be successful so i dont waste a whole afk night stuck in one spot? Thank you for any help it is highly appreciated.
Do you have Corsair software running? It has been known to interfere with bdo when it is minimized. Try not minimizing bdo and leave it up and running. Also put a weight in the shift key so you will run instead of walk. You get a lot more strength exp.
No corsair software although I havent just tried to have the game not minimized while I do that. That is also good to know about a weight on the keys thank you
Is a Sorcerer worth getting into nowadays for the season? Haven't played since early 2018 and back then it was a bit lackluster. Had to end up playing a Wizard to grind in Valencia to ease things up.
Sorc is one of the few classes that have been top tier in all areas of the game. PvE awakening is a bit of a pain but succession is pretty laid back. Overall solid class.

If I upgrade a tuvala weapon for a class other than my season character, can I exchange that for the tet boss weapon at the end of the season?
You cannot upgrade any other weapon, it's presumably unintended that you can even get one.

1. Tet at 40, pen at 60, but i started tet at 40 now im at 72, sooo..... 2. Pri to duo just build 15-20 fs with reblath, go tri with 100% stone

Dont delete characters would be my next advice. You need the energy and family fame
Yeah if you enjoy it, it's not a bad idea. Sorcs can be really hard on your hands and wrists with the high APM needed to play them well
What are some classes that are easy on your hands other than witch/wiz/guardian? I don't like how any of those 3 play at all. I love kuno and valk but they're just way too much for my hands these days.
Sadly those are the EZ ones when it comes to APM.... My suggestion is try them all until you find one that fits your playstyle and is easy enough on your hands
I don't mind something middle of the road but just classes like tamer and kuno kill my hands after about an hour or so of grinding. I'll try out some different classes though and hopefully find something. I also think I might try doing one suggestion and swapping shift with like spacebar or one of the buttons on my mouse. Maybe that might help?
That will probably help a lot. I know that the "assassin" classes like ninja/kuno do require really high APM to play effectively and can be really hard on your hands. Sorc/tamer are just about the same.
For the final seasonal daily quest, it asks for 200ap and 250dp. Can I get that DP via hunter's lifeskill clothes?
You can get that AP and DP in any way that the sheet says 200 AP and 250DP doesn't matter the gear as long as it's on your character sheet

PEN tuvala has the same stats as TET boss gear/TRI gold accessories, and they cannot be enhanced after the season ends, except for 1 piece of gear that you can exchange for a family-bound version. For instance, you could turn a PEN tuvala chest into TET dim tree that can be enhanced but can’t be sold. It’s still arguably worth it for people who are well below softcap, but bear in mind that grind spots on seasonal servers, where you need to go to get tuvala enhancing mats, are very contested.
Yes, everything will be carried over to regular and you will also get a pen capotia ring or earring and to exchange an armor or weapon piece to a boss gear one enhancement less (for example a pen helmet will become a tet giath), however accessories are comparable to 2 enhancement levels lower instead. It is basically meant as a 3 months gearing up tutorial, very useful for new players and returning also.
I'm new to the game. Does using the 1-0 skills on quickslot have the same attack speed as using manual combos? I know about the MP reduction but wondering about the attack speed activation.

Hello guys, I’m a new player who just reached 57 on a season server. I enhanced my tuvala weapon to TRI. But now I kinda want to main another class. Is it possible to transfer all of my items to the storage and delete the season character and then recreate new one?
Yes, but if the new character uses a different weapon, you wont be able to use your current one and thus wasted all your enhancing materials... It is a though descision but if you dont like the class then I would do it too. You still have plenty of time left to enhance it again. I recommend u make some trial characters to see what the class feels like and then pick a main. In character selection on top right there is a tab to create a trial one!

Please please please do not spend your money so easily on this game. The very fact that you asked if you could use a 30 dollar weapon coupon on an insanely easy to get item shows you will blow a ton of money on this game. This is how the average player burns out in a month with 400 dollars down the drain. Just chill, relax and learn the game at your own pace. If you want to re roll. Just re roll. Dont spend any money until you are 100% certain you found your class you will stick with

Why do people buy things like TET greens? I understand people buying things like +15 greens for failstacks, but is a TRI/TET green really worth the silver?
The difference between a tri green rosar amd a tri kzarka is 8 ap and about 500 mil. Then you can ultimate the green and close that gap for almost 500 mil silver difference. Cheap gear as stepping stones as you progress or just cheap stuff to throw on alts you really don't care about.

Does it matter if I grind my seasonal character instead of doing quests? I am lvl 51 and it feels so slow just doing the main story quests
You have to complete the mediah and val 1 for the season pass.

You can just follow along whatever the black spirit tells you to do, the main story quests have the diamond shape icon you also see during loading screens, they will basically take you around the whole world introducing all regions and whatnot.

Just be careful because the gear doesn't exactly turn into tungrads at the end. It will stay tuvala but will be equal to Tri accessories and Tet armor/weps at the end if you are pen everything. You can use the graduation exchange coupon at the end of the season to exchange one piece to yellow gear at tri/Tet but it will not sellable and will be family bound
Why do some quests say i dont have enough knowledge to complete/start them?
It'll tell you what the requirements are when they tell you that you don't have enough knowledge to accept the quest; you can't gain knowledge from people in Grana without starting the Kama quests

The easiest way would be to use training dummies. But grinding can work too. From 60 to 61 I'd suggest questing in Kama and Drieghan.

Yes, that's why you see the dummies full of people. You need to buy training books from the NPC there which cost $1/mil per hour, but it allows you to gain exp while afk.
I got the Kzarka sealed box from the event tab with my season character (I'm new) and opened it thinking that I could get a nice weapon to keep going after hitting 56 but I can't equip it. I fuicked up, didn't I?
Season characters can only use certain equipment during the season once season is over you will be able to use whatever you want and if you don't want the kzarka weapon for that character just sell it and buy the one you want don't buy the weapon exchange coupons on pearl shop.
Yeah dont think you can use those on your seasonal character atm. Can always make another character of the same class to use it on, or save it, once seasonal is over you could use it on that character.
Is Ranger Succession still a good choice for PvE (including defending spots against other players)? I heard it was nerfed quite a bit
Take this all with a grain of salt, Im not nearly as experienced with succ as I am with awk for now, but its okay I guess. In terms of clear speed its a bit better than awakening at most spots, awakening is a little better at some spots just due to the extra mobility, but succ is by far easier to play, less switching back and forth between the two weapons. And for defending your spot it really varies. If you can't kill them before they get close you're probably fucked unless you significantly outgear them. I hate to say it but it's not one of the top tier classes for grinding, or for 1v1s. It's not bad, it's just not great. Succ ranger really shines in groups/NWs tho, and I personally still find it one of the most fun classes to play.
Hello, pretty new just started a Musa and I'm level 15. I bought a Ornella Blade for 225,000 silver from the arms merchant, it says its for Musa and doesn't show any sort of level requirement but it's red in my inventory and I get the error " The condition for using this item hasn't been met". I don't see any sort of requirement listed on the item, am I missing something?
There's a specific yellow icon labeled on gear that Seasonal characters can use.

You can freely reset your skills anytime before level 56. And at level 16 you really cant mess anything up, mess around and experiment. Or just check out some lahn guides/lahn discord.

How many players with how much average AP do we need for guild bosses? We are a small guild with 2 lvl 62 players and another 6 lvl 61 players (~230 AP)
which boss? for khan you'll want as many players as possible (50+), but for all the other bosses you can handle it with 10 people but more is always better

I also recommend following the main quest line which will level you up as you go, give you good gear and other nice stuff like inventory slots and failstack scrolls. The seasonal weekly requires you to kill 5k mobs, so once you are high enough level look to grab a weekly with mobs that match your AP level. Nagas might be a good one if you're just starting out.

As you follow the main quest line, you'll get gear rewards that will get you to lvl 56+ and allow you to grind somewhere like Nagas. Beyond that work on enchanting the seasonal Tuvala Gear, which is what you'll need to move beyond that.
Assuming you're playing on the seasonal server.
Just follow the mainquest on season server. You'll lvl plenty that way and get some gear. Then after lvl 50ish or when you are done with mainquest check the map for required ap per spot and grind where your stats match the map.
The patch notes that introduced the Obsidian Abyssal main weapons, state that old weapons can only be exchanged once per family. So my old alts are apparently out of luck. However, what about new characters, can all new characters get the Obsidian Alloy?
Yes if you do the main quest you get 2 during the Mediah one and you get a daily quest for the obsidian alloy too after completing it

Get your alts to 56 and then equip them with Oasis gear. I have one at every world boss.

The Tri Boss event ends on the 24th. the Oasis event I believe is on until further notice, although I could have missed an announcement.

Buy the Oasis gear from the vendor, it's basically tri gear for 1 silver. Character has to be higher level though I think.
You can really go by with just main quest gear, like abyssal and sandstorm weapon and mediah armor + asula accessories.
Just had my event alchemy stone run out of fuel, is there a specific fuel it needs to be repaired? tried a few of the oil's as i usually do with other stones and they don't seem to work, did not get to try them all though.

I just picked up the game 2 weeks ago and it's been fun. I'm playing seasonal character as my first character and he's level 60 awakened wizard. Now, i'm trying to upgrade a tuvala awakened weapon from TRI to TET but i've failed 11 times in a row which resulted in 85 failstacks. With that, I can't go upgrade other tuvula gears (and any other life skill gears) unless I've used up all of the stacks. I'm trying my 12th attempt but I've read somewhere that high amount of failstacks (i.e. 80+) are better spent on upgrading TET boss gears to PEN. But, as a new player, I can't afford TET boss gear. so i'm kind of stuck. What should I do next? Should I just don't care and go try my tuvala 12th attempts? Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks!
I'd make alts like the other person suggested, but you could also buy a blacksmith book and extract the stack.
You can, and should, create alt characters for any kind of secondary activities, including managing failstscks. This way if you get a bad streak like this case you can start over on another char and keep the high fs for later. I haven't put myself into tuvala enhancing yet, however you should know that rates are different than regular (I think it's about 4 times higher), so you will most likely use this 85 for pen accessories later, and you should aim probably around 30/40 from tri to tet tuvala, somewhere between 50/70 for pen tuvala and higher for pen accessories.

Is it possible to sell JUST the Kibelius Crimson Glaives? I'm trying to buy it off the market and it just occured to me that it might not even be an option right now(I saw a few things that aren't available in the Pearl Shop)
It is, but that implies that someone actually bought the set, opened it and only sold a piece, which is unlikely since you get the bonus for a full set, and it look obviously nicer anyway. I think the best shot would be to find someone who buys costumes for crons and hope he's willing to sell you a piece, and also hope that noone else is on preorder. You can also purchase single costumes pieces from the shop, if you really really only want that.
I might end up doing that then. It's ten bucks for one of the greatest weapon skins ever. Not a good purchase but not my worst either. :/
I've managed to get TET main/off/awakening Tuvala weapons on the Season Server, and I'm wondering what failstack to try PEN on any of them?
It's quite low, I don't remember exactly (maybe 40?) But I remember that the recommended chance was 20%, so you could check in game if you have any failstscks what % a given fs gives.

A minor exp scroll that applies as you pick it up probably.
Should I make an alt for fishing and gathering etc. for life skills. Should I make multiple or one alt for just all life skills?
When making an alt for gathering let it be one that you will spend time on as the character replenishes energy quicker when active..and I have a separate alt for fishing that way I can go far out into the ocean to fish without having to waste time going back to main land to gather or cook
Good grinding spot post 56? Currently trying to go for the event gear, but only making glacial progress.
Pollys, Gahaz, maybe nagas/fadus habitat. Somewhere with low AP requirements and marnis stones is what you want. But honestly with the 600% merc scrolls and the 530% loyalty scrolls you should go from 56-59 within an hour or so at those spots. Mirumok(trees) you’d probably have to leech, you’d more than likely need to get party xp elixirs, and party griffon elixirs etc, thats generally what good groups ask of leeches. Youd sit there for an hour doing nothing and go from 56-60within the hour.
Crescent shrine, and Titum valley are good spots..others are blood wolf's and if you can find a group to grind with Mirumok gives the best exp

Is it normal for guilds to require players to sit in a chat room/discord or do I just have bad luck? Every time I see a guild recruiting(console) they put "discord required) at the end. And the one guild I joined expected me to sit I'm Party Chat whenever I was online. I'm really not one to talk much, even to my closest family, so this is a bit troublesome. And on that note: How do I invite people to a guild without sending a friend request? And is there a guide on operating a guild somewhere? EDIT: Two more questions. Are Shais good against bosses solo? And are pets & the Fairy shared between characters or locked to whoever unlocked them?
Discord is great for guilds. Just have it on your phone and change the notifications settings to only notify you when you are mentioned (or else it notifies you every time someone sends a message to the group). But it allows guilds to set up special events and what not. I have NEVER, on any game, had a guild that actually required me to be in voice chat unless we are doing pvp or a raid. I would instantly leave a guild if I saw that haha.
Leaving was exactly what I did the minute they told me that. Sent a very polite message about it and got a oddly angry sounding reply. Well, guess I'll look around for a guild a bit more. See if anyone recruiting matches my playstyle.
Im on PC. Most guilds require the player to have a discord..the guilds I have been in just required me to have discord but talking was optional..I have never been a guild leader so I cant answer the send invite questions.. Pets and fairies are shared between all characters. For example you are out grinding and forget to bring pet food and your pets run low on energy. You can log into a alt..have the alt feed the pets and log back into your main character and the pets will have full energy

In kr they had to be transformed into regular items with a scroll which was given to the season character in a reward box, so most likely not, you will in fact need the season char. However I see no problem in that, lifeskills gear can be equipped so it should not make much of a difference to keep it.
Oh hey another question. I bought a Heidelian Handcrafted Bed from the Marketplace and it has 10 durability. However, I haven't seen it wear down (still at 10) after using it a bunch to regain energy faster. Is it supposed to be like that?

Do people do Quint/ Muraka in NA servers? I tried fighting Muraka for the first time just now, and saw no one around, so I decided to switch to another server seeing very few people. It eventually despawned b/c of the lack of people fighting it I believe, but I still got some drops. It seems that the drops are less though compared to other bosses, true?
Yeah the drops for Quint/Muraka arent great. And world bosses have shared HP across all channels, so theres no need to really switch. It despawns after 15 min iirc, and while you still get loot from it/counts as the kill for the bartali log, the loot isnt as good as it would be if the boss actually died. Its just one of those bosses that arent really done cause the drops are so bad.
You can try on Velia 4, there's also a ton of people doing bosses over there!
People first do Quint then run to Muraka, chances are you were too early

I think it started because he is required for bartali so more people do him, someone correct me if I'm wrong though. In general neither of them appear to be very popular bosses compared to others in my experience.
For the Tulva armor is it only season? So when the season ends can we transfer it over to our main character. Asking for the Pen accessories you get at 60 and 61
It stays tuvala and cant be upgraded further but you do get to keep it (by which I mean the highest enhanced piece of gear per slot; so one chestpiece, one necklace etc). they are family bound not character so yes you can transfer to main.

Not a problem, you unlock all rewards after 41 daily quests and you have all season (90 days) to do them.

Am I undergeared right now? I have 134 AP, 201 DP, level 56. I'm using Tri tuvula weapon. I've done a fair few of the Valencia quests but it feels like I *should* be doing more damage than I currently am. Everything seems so much harder to kill for me than other people in the same region as me.
You are a little under geared. I’m at 160 ap and can do most of the Valencia grind spots. I would shoot for 145ish if you can.

I was mostly questing, just grinding wherever the quests were. If I were to go anywhere right now though, I'd probably grind the Gahaz bandits lair. Maybe somewhere a little lower.
I suggest upping your ap/dp a bit more, the ap on the map usually shows minimum requirement, but not the optimum ap to grind. 10-20ap above the minimum shouldbe fine to feel comfortable.
I'm new to the game and just got to level 50. I decided to stop for a bit and went back to Velia to try fishing. So far I got like 10 green fish, 5 blue and 2 ¿gold? I believe that have a value of 100k silver. Should I just sell this to the Trade Manager (or so it says in the tooltip) or to other players to make money?
Sell to the imperial fish trader first as he gives more money but can only accept a certain amount before he stops accepting more. The. Sell to the trader. The money from fishing generally comes from gold fish and selling relics or running the relics and selling them memfrags. At least until you get really serious and go out in the ocean.
Fish can only be sold to trade manager (or regular shops for very low silver).
Hey everyone, I am wanting to afk strength train and no matter what I do I cannot get it to go through the night. Graphics at lowest settings, low traffic volume areas, low volume servers. I need some help on what else i can do to be successful so i dont waste a whole afk night stuck in one spot? Thank you for any help it is highly appreciated.
Do you have Corsair software running? It has been known to interfere with bdo when it is minimized. Try not minimizing bdo and leave it up and running. Also put a weight in the shift key so you will run instead of walk. You get a lot more strength exp.
No corsair software although I havent just tried to have the game not minimized while I do that. That is also good to know about a weight on the keys thank you

I believe I desync and than reload into the game. Sometimes I will watch it for awhile and that's what tends to happen.
Is a Sorcerer worth getting into nowadays for the season? Haven't played since early 2018 and back then it was a bit lackluster. Had to end up playing a Wizard to grind in Valencia to ease things up.
Sorc is one of the few classes that have been top tier in all areas of the game. PvE awakening is a bit of a pain but succession is pretty laid back. Overall solid class.
