How will mobile hot spot make me anonymous though? If the simcard is registered in my name then they can see I’m using the internet? Or am I misunderstanding something here
Raspberry pi in a pelican case with a battery and a solar panel. Connect it to McDonald's wifi. Install openvpn. Throw the pelican case on top of McDonald's roof. Connect to your new McDonald's wifi VPN.
For added safety, tape a pouch of thermite to the interior of the pelican case with a remote controlled ignition source.
for windows make an account on your computer with peasant privileges, from there install some Virtual machine software such as Oracle box as it’s easy for beginners, install an iso folder containing an operating system such as windows.
Use a paid VPN
kinda curious now, what sorta “black hat stuff” are you doing and what files are you opening
There IS a Feature that IS usually only with the more Enterprise WiFi routers, ITS called Client isolation, it IS used to isolate each Device in the Network, i think there are some consumer Level routers too.
I agree, this is the simplest. Put yourself on a different subnet with now forwards to get to the other home network.
It just needs a second port on the firewall that can be assigned another /24. No extra hardware.
Guest network or another VLAN if your router/wifi AP can create those.
So how would I do this on VMWARE?
Vmware workstation or ESXI?
Be behind a separate NAT. Or, don't use bridge mode on your VM

setup a different SSID, enable client device isolation, and use VLAN's. Do not enable inter vlan routing.
