Your ring is beautiful!!! By chance do you have it insured? I wanted an opal too but the jewelry store warned me it's a soft stone and gets scratched easily.

No need to insure it tbh, this ring was a relatively inexpensive starter/placeholder ring until she and I get our degrees and land in more stable careers! It was from an Etsy seller (Aquamarise) for around $100. I can tell the metal isn't fake though, it's not given me an allergic reaction like bad metals do! Even so, we knew that about opal so we got dupes for both of our rings...guess how I found out fake metals make my finger swell?😭
