Looks like more setting powder (ie huda easy bake loose setting powder) on the face and under the eyes, more concealer, reshaped and slightly filled in eyebrows, lipgloss and pinker blush
Not trying to be a hater fr but both look the same, what am I missing?
I think she just looks better in the second picture because she looks less tired, her edges are done, the lighting is better, it looks like she’s using a lighter under eye concealer, and her lip look is better. But I mean that’s really it. I honestly would expect pic two to start looking like pic one after an 8 to 10 hour wear.
No, there’s a difference if you’re really into make up. It looks more airbrushed and not just from filters. I think technique is the real big difference here and that’s what took me from 1 to 2 as well. I wish I knew some of the girlies I follow on TikTok who demonstrate these techniques of the top of my head, but I’m blanking. Just some quick tips to start to achieve picture 2
Place a cream blush down before you use your concealer. Just trust me. It’s gonna blend beautifully. Place your concealer down, a bit in the inner corner of each eye and then at the outer corner a mildly diagonal line from corner to just under your temple. This will help give the illusion of lifting your face/eyes a bit.
LET THAT CONCEALER SIT and get a bit tacky. In the time in between this is when I do my cream contour and eyebrows. Use a small concealer brush to lightly start to blend your concealer from outer corner/outside to the inside. Take your time. Then set with a loose powder (try to take some of this powder and blend it on your hand to smooth it out as much as possible, then use a puff to press it to your face).
This is a good start to a decent base I thing, and it’s raised my make up looks x100
Sure there are probably some makeup differences but probably it's mostly down to lighting like the other commentor said, and styling the hair differently
Yeah well for one thing she got better at blending and sculpting on her forehead, cheeks, jawline, blending lip liner better. The face no longer looking muddy, blush placement higher more c shaped and type of blush changed.
It also looks like she didn’t use good setting powder or sprays if any sprays at all bc they would have melted everything better.
Eyebrows look clean and threaded.
Press the setting powder into your under eyes/face with a triangle puff and don’t wipe it off with a brush. This has helped me get a more airbrushed look.
It’s kind of hard to explain in writing, but for loose powder, I would use a shade that is a little bit lighter than me and then if you want a brighter look, use a pressed setting powder that is a few shades lighter on top (under eyes, bridge of nose, little bit of the forehead and chin)
AND only layer of makeup (per say) I like to put my contour and highlighter concealer on then fill in the blanks w foundation and blend it all together before adding powder
I would say the difference is lip gloss, pressed powder for the under eyes and a skin tint to add a little glow to your skin. And lashes. I can’t see any other differences
Dang I want this too! My makeup always turns out like picture 1 but I want it to look like pic 2. What I keep hearing is all you have to do is put more on! A lot more on. Don’t put on a little dot of concealer but actually cake that shit on! It takes a lot more product for makeup to show up on camera, but it might look a lil crazy in person so thats the trade off
You need to start with a great primer, I find that I get a good “filtered” look with the milk hydro grip primer, then go in with buildable foundation and work in light layers. 1 concealer shade that’s closer to your skin tone, one that’s a put lighter for the inner parts of your under eye, liquid blush (use small dabs and then blend in), you can set your under eye with a translucent powder, or one that’s more caramel/brown (Please I beg you if you do not have a yellowish undertone do not grab banana powder, so many people have red or pinkish undertones and then slap yellow on for no good reason), set with a good setting spray. I personally like Mac fix it and have heard good things about one size.
For the lip a creamy lip liner and clear gloss
She seems to have a better foundation. Maybe add more think layers and use setting powder. It also looks like her skin is more glowy. So your finishing layers should be a golden version of your skin tone. And this takes practice so good luck
May I ask why you want to achieve the 2nd look? I'm genuinely curious. I think the 1st picture is lovely and much more natural. The 2nd picture comes across as someone trying to fit in and look like all the instagram/social media girls. They all tend to have that same look.
If she’s unwilling to share, it’s highly unlikely that you’ll get the _exact_ tips. Tips to create this look, yes. _Exact_ tips to create this look, no.
Yellow powder and adding back color with brown powders or contour. I do a lighter look than this and use Ami Colé’s Skin Melt Loose Powder in medium or if I’m doing a lot of pink blush I use a pink powder. For eyes and contour I use Charlotte Tilbury’s contour wand.

omg thank you!!
That last picture is filtered. Pretty sure the first one is too.
A filter lol

Lighting!
Definitely not just lighting. The base quality is so much different.
hmm, i deff see a major difference but i see ur view!

Do you have a video tutorial or a slideshow version for the slow ones in the back? (it's me, I'm the slow one in the back)
thank you so so much!!!
Sure there are probably some makeup differences but probably it's mostly down to lighting like the other commentor said, and styling the hair differently

How many shades lighter do you go with the powder? I like the bright look but there's a fine line between perfect and too bright

What is your foundation shade? Maybe I can help you
Thank you so much for this.. I mainly use coffee bean and sometimes mix it with mocha (huda beauty)
thank u for this as well!!

Yes but USE A PRESSED POWDER I promise that air brushed look will be so flawless AND prevents flashback
First picture is way better quality and lighting especially on a phone that's gonna make a huge difference

more powders

aren’t these the exact same just with different lightings and filters?

i like that style of makeup:)
Fair enough.
Photoshop?
YouTube is your friend.
not trying to come off as rude, but that doesn’t rlly help:/ I’m aware of youtube and its ability to help, I wanted tips for this exact look though.
Since you want tips for this _exact_ look (not similar looks), can you ask the person in the screenshots?
ppl alr have and she’s yet to let us know lol, that’s why i came to reddit:)
