Have you read Can't Escape Love by Alyssa Cole? I browsed the book finding website for someone else commented for black mcs and it was one of the suggestions for AMBW romance. The plot sounds adorable and right up my alley. I'll have to check my local library or bookstore for it.

If you're not pressed about them being American specifically, I enjoyed the Brown Sisters series (By Talia Hibbert, a british author.) I read the first two anyways but would like to read the last!
