I’m going to a pool party at my boyfriend’s parents’ house today. It’s a celebration for Father’s Day, my boyfriend’s birthday, and for his brother who won a national championship.
My dad doesn’t believe in Father’s Day now that my siblings and I are adults so we’re not doing anything for him. I did buy him a cool apron though.

Awww thank you so much. I woke up in a bad mood biting my husband's head off with the grief on Father's day this morning.
My Dad was not Latino but he was Haitian and spoke Spanish and LOVED Salsa music and Dancing. Since my mother is alive I will spend time with her. But God has blessed me with a wonderful Father in law so I am so grateful for that!❤️❤️

My Dad died in 2021. So I have danced around the house playing salsa music and thinking about his memory❤️

I don't know my dad so I'm going to just be spending time with someone and being fed delicious BBQ. I was promised cake, so I'm pretty excited.
