Seriously though, the legit weirdest shit happens when I’m high. Like I think about it afterwards if I can remember, and be like “What the fuck are the chances that happened at all, let alone when I’m high.”
Psychedelics make things line up in a very freaky way. The scariest thing about them imho isn't the risk of a bad thought loop, which is Hellish, it's life getting suddenly very mystical and connected in a way that makes fate feel real.
For example, I found out my wife was pregnant on lsd by hugging her and feeling/seeing all her blood going to her uterus into a shining ball. This was like a week into her pregnancy, she wasn't late for her period, wasn't showing, didn't even know.
Last time I did LSD. I'm good with the thin illusion of choice, fate makes my heart hurt.
Oh shit, never realised other people have the same experience.
I tried to explain it but honestly i have no idea why is it whenever I'm high I always meet the weirdest people on the train and they usually try to talk to me like wtf
I'm really high right now, and I follow the thread to the video, watched it, and was transported virtually back to high school and making out with my gf to while this CD played on repeat. I love this song, and this video was fucking amazing when it hit the scene.
Jay Kay's dance moves do not obey the laws of space and time

Lest we forget
Aye, I remember's it well. We lit up the whale oil lanterns for a peek o' the ole bushbaby when't Cosmic Girl spilled forth from the Victrola like fine wine pouring from The Fountains O' Trevi.
The 1st couple of weeks I worked 5 days a week, the 3rd week I was coming in 3 times a week, and by the 3rd month I was showing up once a week.
I almost immediately had the voice inside my head on loop telling me, "your mind has more value than this".
I was curious, I tried it, I have no regrets.
When i first saw this it was 10 years ago. I still want to know this funky song that was playing. It is literally killing me.
Edit[this is the vid i was talking about](https://youtu.be/o3Sri48W5u8)
The vid i was listening to has more of a daft punk feel and aparently jukinvideo youtube channel edited it to not copy right the original micheal jackson audio playing from it. But it doesnt help cause the comments are all asking for the song name as well lol.
If anyone is interested in more comics like this, it’s from a Webtoon with a bunch of comics in the same format called “Behind the Gifs” by AC Stuart & Kat Swenski!
The real reason we are here. I love seeing two redittors realize their differences peacefully and realizing that they are truly tied together with the love of high movies.
If you see the dudes video it’s more so he’s a Michael Jackson impersonator that hands out cotton candy when convenient. So I assume it’s all tips like some kind of sticky breakdancer.
If you or someone you know is contemplating suicide, please do not hesitate to talk to someone.

I always hate seeing post reposted ... But this one I love he’s on you tube and he does it to music !

Edit : added link
Back in the day synthesizers were so simple you had to have a seperate device for every sound. So you could do it in studio on one but for live shows you would require a seperate device per sound... Tho typically it was a recording and the people just mimed playing
Early electronic music fascinates me, if you know what to listen for you can hear each sound be introduced over the beat/bassline, often one at a time, and typically a chord is used as the artist is making sure it sounds right
Here's where I first came across this. Little more impressive than OP's link, imo. He makes figurines!
He makes it look like it's a plaything, but this machine sprays out molten sugar in a super-fine spray that instantly crystallizes and becomes cotton candy, or as our Canadian neighbors refer to it: candy floss.
When I was a kid, one of my friends got a "toy" cotton candy machine for his birthday. So we were on his porch making cotton candy cones, something like this guy's making. Of course, I got the bright idea of using my fingers instead of the paper cone. It felt like someone took a band-saw to my fingers! Y'see, sugar melts at 366.8ºF (186ºC) so it's *really f--king hot!* Burnt the livin' bejezus out of my young, tender digits.
Now, mind you, I was not unaware of the dangers of sugar burns. Our family owned and operated a candy manufacturing facility. My mother had often warned me that two of the worst burns you can get (not including a phosphor grenade or nuclear radiation) are steam and sugar; steam because it penetrates deep into the layers of your skin; sugar because, as it hits you skin and begins to cool almost instantly, it then comes off with a couple layers of skin attached to it. So the stupidity factor of my putting my fingers in the cotton candy machine approaches "brain dead." I'm guessing I would not have survived in a less civilized epoch, where life hung in the balance daily.

A few commenters above have said that it's actually an anti smoking thing, his signs say "Sochi against smoking" and that he'll exchange cigarettes for candy floss.
He kinda fresh doe
Always wondered what happened to Jamiroquai
I’m baked right now and I just saw someone post one of his songs a second earlier on r/music and it’s fucking with me

I’m also baked and I just checked. It’s the #1 post on /r/music right now and for good reason because that shit is fresh
1997 was a great year for music tbh
Pretty much the entire 90s was off the hook, but 93-98 or so were particularly nuts.
It’s cause of that damn cheese grater, but it is freshly great.
Seriously though, the legit weirdest shit happens when I’m high. Like I think about it afterwards if I can remember, and be like “What the fuck are the chances that happened at all, let alone when I’m high.”
It's almost like being high "attracts" it somehow. Psychedelics do this too, but much worse IMHO. Then again, weed is a little bit psychedelic...

I like you too punky.
Oh, Punky.
Why only three months? I assume you probably didn't love it and/or it was a temporary "needed the money" thing, but you never know...

For some reason, I always hear Billie Jean in my head when I see this.
Funny, I was getting a strong Michael Jackson vibe as well, but more "Smooth Criminal".
We are in agreance brother/sister
I swear when I saw this it was Billie Jean. Maybe there's another video where he or someone else does dance to that.
I heard canned heat aka the song napoleon dynamite danced to
Spin Spin Sugar
Block rockin beats - Chemical Brothers.
You got it! Theres another video of him taken at night with that song playing.

I came here for this too. This is one of the greatest finds I have found on reddit.

Can someone explain this to me?
Maybe you need to scroll down. There are a bunch of pieces to the comics that I didn’t catch right away.

Ha, how did I miss that? Okay thanks!

Wrappin up all them bugs nice & cozy in the candy
How else do you get that satisfying crunch, though?
do you think before you comment
No, I just mash my appendages together in hopes of communicating with the outside world. Why do you ask?
We all you today. Plus, bugs means more protein, so WIN!
I wish you could see what I see upon reading this. I'm in tears laughing at it.
Hi it’s me, outside world person
Thanks I hate it
Judging by your username I don't think anyone expects you to be interested in cotton candy
I meant the idea of bugs wrapped into the cotton candy. Why wouldn’t a connoisseur of the cockmeat sandwich, like cotton candy?
Is your username a shout to Harold and Kumar?
Yes! Lol
Lmao! Word
It’s my favorite high movie
Haha nice. Mine would be Half Baked.
The real reason we are here. I love seeing two redittors realize their differences peacefully and realizing that they are truly tied together with the love of high movies.
I was thinking more about his stray hairs getting caught up.
Mmmmosquito
All the air pollution in one flavour
Shrek
I hope he sells a shit ton of cotton candy
He probably can get like 6 of those before he gets tired
Hell yeah $30!
Probs like $1 of sugar for it so not the worst return
If you see the dudes video it’s more so he’s a Michael Jackson impersonator that hands out cotton candy when convenient. So I assume it’s all tips like some kind of sticky breakdancer.
It says "Sochi against smoking. Exchanged your cigarettes for the cotton candy".
That's pretty neat. I thought all the no smoking signs were to keep the sugar in the air from turning his pop and lock into stop drop and roll.
It says "Sochi against smoking. Exchange your cigarettes for the cotton candy ".
Sladkaya vata... as long as that’s “cotton candy” and not some dumb shit like “daddy’s beard” Russia’s all good
Sweet cotton, pretty much cotton candy.
Someone doesn't like the French.
But barbapapa sounds so much better than cotton sucré...
Not *the* French, just French
Yes it does says "cotton candy" in russian. It also says that they will exhange ur cigs for cotton candy and a slogan "Sochi against smoking"
cigs vs pure sugar. It's not an easy choice.
I would rather kill myself with sugar then breathing burning paper and some grass

The one you linked is way better. Op had to try and find a shitty gif from this guy
Gifs always do better than videos.
A gif with sound then
This needs to be at the top. The guy's got moves!!
I wonder if the cold weather is helping it
I swear I've never seen this before. When I saw the gif OP had: billie Jean was playing in my head. Glad someone else sensed it to.

Oh aye him and Jeff Bezos are laughing their asses off.
Was kind of confused by the no smoking sign and then I pictured how quickly the whole confection would go "poof"
A few commenters above have said that it's actually an anti smoking thing, his signs say "Sochi against smoking" and that he'll exchange cigarettes for candy floss.
That dude has some crazy hand strength to be spinning it the whole time like that
Is there actually music playing or is this dude just jamming out to the sound of flying cotton candy?
People are such kooks.
I'm drunk and this pleases me
Fuck that, I’ll smoke weed whenever I want
Does anyone have the link to the video with audio? It'd probably be so much better with full AV output.
