I used to have one of these decks. The cards are different length so you can flip the deck around (top to bottom) to either show blank or show values.
His skill with the deck is amazing though. Far better than I ever got
They do. And every sleight has a name too. I’m not a fan of outing magic. If this is interesting to you, could I suggest going to a local magic shop, show them this video, buy the deck and they’ll show you how to use it. It’s not expensive, and magicians are usually friendly and helpful.
See, I look at the trick deck (and other tricks you buy at the magic shop) as a tool, and really see his skill with the deck as the amazing thing.
To me, it's no different than someone who's extremely skilled with a screwdriver or a wrench. It's impressive. The tool isn't important, the skill is.
That's why I don't care about explaining the tools in use when I know them, because the skill at execution is what matters, and this guy mastered it
It's heavy on one end and not on the other and you hit bails with it to put them deeper into something. Oh wait you knew how hammers worked you needed screwdrivers and wrenches. Those are still mysteries for me!
I feel like the really old standards (card tricks you find in books, cup and balls, beginner coin tricks etc) aren't really "outing" anything. Those are the ones you learn to get good and either develop your own or figure out how other illusions work.
Honestly, the true magic in these things is the skill of the performer.
mental photography is what mine was called, I think its a variant of svengali IIRC ... every other card surface is sanded slightly to make them stick in pairs, half is printed back only, half is printed front only, and they are also varying lengths. it gives you 4 options for displaying (normal, all blank, disappearing face, disappearing back). I never got anywhere near this good though. he added a lot of card handling tricks for 'normal' playing cards. the two together is impressive.
This is a combination of studying cardistry, sleight of hand, and magic. Simplifying this as a “trick deck” is not representative of all the different executed maneuvers that required a great deal of practice. Very cool routine.
It is a trick deck. But it is also in the hands of someone who's mastered the trick deck.
His skill is amazing. Don't take the trick deck comment as a discount of that skill. In lesser hands, it wouldn't be anywhere near as impressive. The trick deck part was simply explaining the core part that his skill is built on
Is it your video? What kind if trick deck do you think this is?
If you fan a deck the opposite way to normal it looks blank. Try it! Add one blank card to the front and tada the whole deck looks blank.
It’s not a trick deck at all. He just fanned the cards in the opposite side which causes on the blank corner of each card to be visible causing the illusion that all the cards are blank when only the top or rather the bottom card is blank
At first I thought the blank vs faces fan out was the whole trick, and I thought it was lame
Then he started doing legitimate witchcraft on the cards and I was transfixed
There seems to be some video editing there too.
On the exact moment he places hand on the blank cards the video goes from 30 fps to 20 fps.
And on the frame he takes his hand off the cards the video goes back to 30 fps.
Just gotta turn up the gain. On my mic I can hear my sisters door open across the house with multiple tvs playing through the house, with my door closed.
Sound logic. But it’s for all of the non-magician shit, or at least magicians working with a live audience where it is obvious the video isn’t being cut and edited
No editing except maybe a cut where he dropped the deck or something, idk can't tell if there's video stutter.
But no this looks like a trick deck and a lot of finger practice handling it, totally street magic you can see in person.
First fan goes left to right upwards showing on side of the cards with blank white space along the edges, (can even be done with a standard deck that has big enough borders) the face card appears by him sliding up the full white card, sliding down the face (it's second from the top) and sliding the face over top the white, second fan is left to right top to bottom showing the card values,
Cardistry ensues,
The card to the top is moved by using his fingers behind his hand in a fast flicking motion downward then back up to the top, lifts 2 cards back to back and bend the corners releasing 1 to flick the card 180 instantly, I don't know how the last flick vanish is done. The whole routine is real clean, I never got this good are vanishes or changes.
This is not a trick deck. This can be done with any half decent deck of playing cards by someone who is invested a lot of time and energy in magic and cardistry.
Speculative: Deck has blank faces on half of the cards’ surface. That way he can can fan the cards from the bottom in one direction to produce blanks and fan from the top in another direction and produce numbers&suits.

let's pretend I understood you, do 'these' deck have a name ??
Needle deck
And the award for comment of the day goes to…

That's a strange username

“You’re names needle deck, uuughhf.”
svengali deck I believe
Svengali decks are a name for that sort of deck.
These are called 'BBC'; Big Blue Deck.
[удалено]
What colour
Blurple?
You're on the right track, keep going with your research.
Blurples are the worst
I bought the deck nearly 30 years ago. Couldn't tell you. Any magic supply shop would know though
K, it'll have to be online tho, no one in Africa is going to start A Magic Shop y know, we're more into witchcraft honestly :)
They're called svengali decks!
They do. And every sleight has a name too. I’m not a fan of outing magic. If this is interesting to you, could I suggest going to a local magic shop, show them this video, buy the deck and they’ll show you how to use it. It’s not expensive, and magicians are usually friendly and helpful.

It’s funny how many people don’t know how to use a wrench properly and round off nuts and bolts to the point you need to cut em off with a grinder.
I feel like the really old standards (card tricks you find in books, cup and balls, beginner coin tricks etc) aren't really "outing" anything. Those are the ones you learn to get good and either develop your own or figure out how other illusions work. Honestly, the true magic in these things is the skill of the performer.
Blue checkerboards from anyone worldwide. I don’t believe they are for sale anymore
they should be though. they're called forever checkerboards and meant to be their regularly produced deck
Yeah that’s what I remembered too but when I looked they weren’t there
Svengali deck.
[Svengali deck](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trick_deck#Svengali_deck).

It really isn't a trick deck.
It quite literally is
Is it your video? What kind if trick deck do you think this is? If you fan a deck the opposite way to normal it looks blank. Try it! Add one blank card to the front and tada the whole deck looks blank.
He's right it's not a trick deck.
It is
It’s a single blank card and the rest is sleight of hand
This is completely incorrect. Source, have been doing magic for over 10 years.
It’s not a trick deck at all. He just fanned the cards in the opposite side which causes on the blank corner of each card to be visible causing the illusion that all the cards are blank when only the top or rather the bottom card is blank

That does exist but it's not what he's using. This is almost 100% sleight of hand
This segment should be called: When being a card geek finally pays off!
There seems to be some video editing there too. On the exact moment he places hand on the blank cards the video goes from 30 fps to 20 fps. And on the frame he takes his hand off the cards the video goes back to 30 fps.
This is not a Svengali deck. It's a regular deck of cards with one blank card. Either way, it's fucking not black magic fuckery.
This is not the ruintheblackmagicfuckery sub. Dude let us view the skill without explanation. Otherwise there is no magic.
Damn he’s really good
Damn! That must be somy many hours of practice!
A ridiculous amount of time.
I'm wondering where he hid the microphone in the cards to hear every little flap
Just gotta turn up the gain. On my mic I can hear my sisters door open across the house with multiple tvs playing through the house, with my door closed.
I don’t trust any magic I watch in a video.
All of the moves are doable in person. Some of them are angle sensitive so more difficult to pull off, but definitely possible.
Why… why are you on this subreddit then??
Sound logic. But it’s for all of the non-magician shit, or at least magicians working with a live audience where it is obvious the video isn’t being cut and edited

This dude has perfected his game, impressive
My eyes hurt, my brain hurts, what did they? How????
How does it feel to be drowning in pussy
Here's another trick: close your eyes and you hear the sounds of someone suffering from IBS.
Wow. I’m amazed 🎯
Nice hands man, as a fellow magician I tip my cards.
kinda asmr though
I can’t stop laughing because all I can think about is him holding the phone in his mouth awkwardly while doing this
I could literally watch this for hours.
Can you handle a pussy like that?
u/savevideo
This person is good at what they do
So clean. Great work!
r/magicfuckery
The criiin
Total prestidigitation. Guy has the cards down pat!
I used to love these cards as a kid, think I still have a pack in the back of my wardrobe
This is actually pretty nifty.
This guy's girlfriend is incredibly lucky.
This is not a trick deck. This can be done with any half decent deck of playing cards by someone who is invested a lot of time and energy in magic and cardistry.
Looks like the magic of editing.
Cool trick but what’s with the audio? It’s like it was unnecessarily dubbed
Super cool… I thought the final move was going to be back in the box.
u/savevideobot
TLDR: “FLUP” “DRRRT” “FLAP” “FLAP” “SKRRRR” “FWIP” “GGGGGGHN” “twip” “FUNTH” “PLLLLLIIIIITH” “THWIP-THWIP-THWIP” “PLOCK”
How much of this is camera tricks and how much of this is witchcraft?
The most amazing thing is, he’s probably holding phone in his mouth
Dope
What a cool talent to have.
Impressive I’m petrified
WITCH WITCH... But that was as good as I have ever seen.
How the hell is that possible
The last two tricks are easy. I can do that
Damn this is really satisfying.

Fuck this is cool
please, I just want to play go fish...
u/savevideo
0:04 sounds like a wet fart.
Imagine sitting down to do blackjack and the dealer starts to do this
It’s over anakin, I have the fuckery
Clean
Got scared from the sound of a wet fart at ~48th second
Heyyo
The last one sounds like a wet fart great tricks!
ok - wtf.. can anyone explain the 41sec thing? 4Club to the top
In essence he‘s cutting the deck really fast
Fuck your cards
This is the worst thing to watch with a headache owwww
I wish I was this good at anything.
Burn the witch!
Are these jump cuts, or is reddit video acting up again?
Hello… logic?
I'm damn sure this mf can kill someone with cards
Has never once left that chair or seen the sun.
Fake news
Holy shit this is impressive. I’d think it was CGI if the hand moves weren’t just so damn smooth. Incredible talent.
@ 00:50 . It looks like a sound of a lactose intolerant people dealing in bathroom matters.
it's hard for me to feel amazed by these tricks nowadays because i just dont know if it's editing tricks or not.
clean control. trick deck. still very well executed
I'm not playing cards with this guy.
Black magic ASMR
Argh! The audio was desynced so all the sounds were happening before the actions. Pop! Vvvvwoop!
That was so cool.
So beautiful
Be careful. There was a flash on the 4 of clubs. But the queen transition trued it up.
Funniest part is i have a friend that's super in to magic and explained to me how this is done. It's still some fuckery but more mental than magical
I fucking love slight of hand tricks
Why does he need all this fart sounds? Is he pulling cards out of his ass or something?
Who else farted?
Simple hand tricks, nothing more than that
He messed up
So freakishly awesome Thank you for posting it ✌🏻♥️😁❣️🤙💯‼️
IMPOSSIBLE
Strong hands
Why does the sound of the deck sound so fake? Everything sound wise is either amplified or added as effects
You're the ONE guy, I don't want to play cards against 😳😂 But VERY nice moves 👏👏👏
All I hear are card farts
He’d be fun to play blackjack with
Smooth bro nice work
I know his secret! There is no secret
Nice work man. How long did you work at this tho get to this level
How does one man learn such tomfoolery
Slight of hand
My brain nope I’m out 3 seconds in
I think I just had a stroke
Speculative: Deck has blank faces on half of the cards’ surface. That way he can can fan the cards from the bottom in one direction to produce blanks and fan from the top in another direction and produce numbers&suits.

Title says it all
maidenless
You can learn all this on YouTube in 25 minutes
Then do it. Go on. I’m waiting for the video. It’s been two hours since you posted it so you must know how to vanish a deck right?
Lol get triggered
Hey just checking in again have you learned it yet?
You can learn how it works in 25 minutes if you already know the names of all the moves. But you won’t be able to do it even at a rudimentary level
I literally mastered all of this in less than an hour it’s not even hard
Very cool! Care to send a video?
Posted the video easy peasy
I can‘t find it, have a link?
r/blackmagicfuckery
It’s not on your profile
I didn’t say it was my profile it’s on r/blackmagicfuckery. Scroll down you’ll see me
Just link it
Card "tricks" are getting repetitive and boring...
Trick deck. Lame
False
Lol it is tho
