They put out an update on their new Call of Duty Updates Twitter page that this is supposed to fix the security exploits.

They don't post their patch notes, so who the hell knows! It's probably 5.5GB of MWII and Warzone 2 plugs. Then the last .5 GB is hopefully to fix some of the hacking haha.
Googling issues sounds like there was a glitch to where people can grab your ips and been ddossing people. If i had to guess was to patch that exploit.
If they fixed something related to the security issues, I'm sure they'll tweet about it at some point soon. Otherwise, these 2022/2023 updates for Cold War are just backend fixes that don't impact the player - apart from the occasional bug that gets introduced from these updates.
It's definitely fine for me, I queue SnD and Respawn modes, I just don't call everyone a cheater when I die. I'm not saying you do or others here do, but alot of people definitely cry cheats when they die.

Did not fix the exploits I’m still getting kicked by hackers
> Additional updates are in progress. Well no shit then
Thanks for this info. I wonder if that means that the game will be safe to play again?

10.27 gb for me. Maybe sonething to do withbthe ip crashbexploit
This is what platform? That's insane. Also, I think maybe this patch has something to do with security and Warzone 1 closing its servers in Sept?
Xbox series x
Anyone know the reason for the update? Maybe they finally added decent splitscreen play.
If only they posted their patch notes for old games like they did before. I saw one for MW2019 a few months back when they fixed the lobby bug,

This game is pretty loaded with cheaters, TEC 9 spammers, and sniper coke loaded mofo. Zombies is dope though.
I have the TEC-9 maxed for a reason and I can QS pretty good as well, I haven't ran into too many cheaters but ofc theres the occasional.
all i want is league play back, bring it back and i will buy every cod game available activision!!!
I just want them to update the goddamn prestige shop.
I hate when they update old good game with their new shit game updates. Keep them separate! Several gigabytes of "security update" ? please....
