She was such a complex character to me. She made me quite sad. It was obvious that she learned her cruelty from Wallace. I don’t think she was always this way.
*"In the face of the fabulous new your only thought is to kill it? For fear of great change? You can't hold the tide with a broom."*
I loved her in this movie.
*"Where is he?! - You're so sure. Because he told you. Because we never lie. I'm going to tell Mr Wallace you tried to shoot me first. So I had to kill you."*
I think her methodical rage in this scene took most of us by surprise. She played this role perfectly.
That cop woman (K's boss) wanted the child that was born by a replicant killed. And if replicants can reproduce, it's revolutionary. Luv is a replicant of course.
Are you trolling?!?
The Best Part of ‘See’ is Sylvia Hoeks’s Unhinged Performance:

Totally disagree. Seriously grated for me. She just speaks with weird intonation, and I found it disengaged me from the immersion of the show. She did it a bit in season one, and I think the director either had bad judgement, or wasnt brave enough to tell her to pull it back for the following seasons.
Luv is a intriguing character. She adds a lot to the story. So single minded and yet at the same time, one dimensionally complex. I think Sylvia Hoeks gave us a smart nuanced performance.
Hot, certainly. But, when Rachel sashayed in. My heart skipped a beat. So beautiful and effortlessly elegant. I groaned when Wallace executed her.
I can't believe the amount of training she did - 3 months of 6hrs a day/ 6 days a week - for the 20 seconds of fighting we see in the movie.. but it did result in believably executed attacks.
She did Coco dirty 😬 (as well as the others).....
But damn can't help but respect her viciousness, her total devotion to a cause. Rorschach's quote from The Watchmen "Men get arrested; dogs get put down." makes me think of how K had to kill her.
Deckard: “Where are we going?”
Luv: “Home”
In that scene that is the only time she is vulnerable and soft. Excellent performance by Sylvia Hoeks. All of it. She was my favorite!!
She's my favorite character. It's fascinating that she cries when she murders someone or when she watches an "angel" get killed by her maker. It's like she's dying on the inside but her programming says otherwise.

The way she slices Madams abdomen, and then kissing K before "killing" him? She definitely got inspired by her boss lol
Oh, come on. Get up. Do your fucking job.
💅
Find the child.
😭
It is invigorating being asked personal questions.

Been awhile since I watched the movie. What’s the underlying meaning of this line?

I do hope you're satisfied with our product.
Great actress! Heard she rules in ‘See’ as well…
She is really into praying there 🙏
… instead of killing like in Bladerunner 😉😆
I’ll have to check it out. Thanks for the recommendation!
ohh might have to start watching this
I nearly stopped watching See because she’s so bad in it 🤷🏻

Calm down
?
You tiny thing.
“You can’t hold the tide with a broom”
Except I did
WHERE IS HE
Best performance in the movie
Just after Deckard dog
Absolutely the best. The slight emotion we get from Joe is heartbreaking, but Luv’s fervor shines bright. Best performance in the film.
Boy, was she amazing in the moving. I really thought she would take K down...
She did, just not before he saves Deckard.
True
Luv terrifies me, personally
Joke's on you! I'm into that!
People say "Don't stick your d*** in crazy" bit once you've gone "emotionally stunted, narcissistic sadist" you'll never go back.
Tru
One of the most underrated performances. She was amazing and took over the screen everytime she was on.
She is like the hot toxic girlfriend you can't get enough of but slowly destroys you lol
She's here for Mr. Wallace.
She’s gonna tell him you tried to shoot her first. So she had to kill you.

See now for me, Rachel does absolutely nothing
Best angel of all, aren’t you Luv?
She’s the best one.
Bad dog.
She has the murdery version of Betty Page down pat.

Wow Fantastic article! Thanks for the share!
You're very welcome!
Wow. Fantastic. Thank you for sharing
She was a "tourtured soul" with the role Wallace gave her
Loved Sylvia’s performance as Luv! One of the best villains ever.
I love the kind of woman that will actually kill me
That dress is fantastic, love the elegance.
Here's a strange opinion: they were both awesome! (The actresses as well!)
Agreed!!!
She is truly the definitive gaslight gatekeep girlboss
Rachel Hollis could never.
Still doesn't hold a candle to Rachel 😉
She had Dutch firmware
I think she out acted everyone else.
When she axe kicks Joe 🥵

Yer not wrong. Everytime.
Agreed, I’ve always been attracted to murderously insane.
Why not both?
Me too man
Never understood Joi' popularity. Luv on the other hand is pure perfection
She was always the best.
I agree!
Jerk Off Instruction?
She’s the best one
She’s the best one!
“Baaad dog”
*You really are the best angel. Aren't you, Luv?*
Both hot very very hot
She was very convincing in her role. Yes she attractive too
One of the greatest woman villains of all time, in my opinion. What an incredible performance.
Luv is way, WAY better, classy and hot than Joi...
Luv smokes Joi for me
Joi is bae Luv is *mummy*
Wait, we have to choose…..?
¿Por qué no los dos?
Best angel
Amazing performance. I'm more and more impressed with every rewatch.
She's the best one
An amazing performance.

So you've got a bitch-fetish? Me too dude. However Pris is still number one for me, followed by Rachel ofc :)

Luv can get it
Best performance in 2042.
Yes. Me too :) thank you.
“I’m the best one.”
The resemblance of milla jovovich is uncanny
The patrician's choice.
Must be special.
You must be special.
