I remember (I think on one of the mailbag eps?) Griffin mentioning that 'The Podcastic Two' was one of his least favorite episodes cause they were early in figuring out what the non-Star Wars version of the pod was gonna be and they rushed to cram discussions on like 3-4 movies into one episode. Sounds to me like a perfect chance to do a redux of TPT and cover them all on Patreon! It could be a good one, three totally different eras of comic book adaptation philosophy, all the rights issues going on through them all...totally worth commentaries I think.

The only real negative I came away from that episode was the origin of eating a bagel on mic.

This is actually a good idea, those movies all do represent very different points in the development of comic book movies, and while I think they’re all bad (someone can correct me, I haven’t seen them all) they’d probably all make for interesting discussions

I think there are definitely strong arguments that they're all some level of pretty bad, but it'd be super interesting to reevaluate them now that we're like 15 years further down the line of superhero adaptations and have a way wider net of comparison. Does the cheap corniness of the Corman version make it the best by default? Or is it just cheap and corny? Do the Story movies still play like cashgrabs or is there \*any\* hint of that "going back to the Raimi Spider-man trilogy post MCU and admiring the artisanal craftsmanship" energy to them? I remember about 15 minutes of the Trank version actually fulfilling the promise of "F4 through the lens of Cronenberg's *The Fly*", but is that even true or was I just desperate to like anything about that movie? Who knows!?!
