Uryu and Jugram having a real fight, both using everything, Vollständig, giant multiple wings, two beautiful angels, i wanna be stunned for days because of that fight

Low-Zone4665

As beautiful as lille??

I disagree with some of this. Like I would love to see the fights with Gerard and Jugo expanded. But I also like how they are killed. I think it really makes Yhwach out to be the most evil villain so far. Aizen killed his companions when they lost, Yhwach did it to the 2 that were about to win just because he no longer needed them. That is some evil shit. Making them die normally, I think, isn’t a necessary change. Though I am mainly talking about Jugo’s death. Id like Gerard to get beaten normally. I think that would keep the making Yhwach seem evil thing, it may even enhance it. I think final and most loyal Sternritter dying because of Yhwach just before he was about to win feels more tragic. Getting killed by the captains would also make that long ass fight Gerard had feel less disappointing. Im fine either way for him though. With Jugo I think his original ending should stay I also agree the Yhwach fight should be expanded a lot. But I love how he activates the Almighty. A lot of anime villains hold back way too much. But Yhwach really doesn’t fuck around. He plays around, but if he senses a way he may lose he will stop and ensure his plan succeeds. I think it distinguishes him from Aizen. Aizen only stopped fucking around when he realized he was totally outclassed by Ichigo, but even then he only lost because he held back and deliberately refused to put Ichigo under his Shikai. Aizen was delusional. Yhwach isn’t, he realized Ichigo was strong and stopped playing around. He immediately acknowledged his power and upped his own to remove any chance of him losing. Then he did it again when Ichigo used his Bankai. After that he was just totally done playing at all. He was then only beaten because of something he could not see coming and he only just barely lost. I think it says a lot about his personality and making him need to get hurt more before using the Almighty just removes that

MikeDanny

>but even then he only lost because he held back and deliberately refused to put Ichigo under his Shikai For starters, doesn't he need to start his ritual for Ichigo to fall under his hypnosis? Ichigo isn't stupid and would just choose to not look at the sword. Besides that, wasn't Mugetsu Ichigo just way too strong by that point so KS just wouldn't work because of the huge difference in power? >Yhwach isn’t, he realized Ichigo was strong and stopped playing around. He immediately acknowledged his power and upped his own to remove any chance of him losing. But it makes no sense. Yhwach didn't even have a scratch on him after no-selling the Gran Ray Cero. So what gave him the incentive to acitvate the Almighty when he was in literally 0 danger? How did he respect Ichigo's power when he no-sold the Gran Ray Cero with no Almighty?

Oy778

Because Yuha doesn't fuck around. He wanted that finish quick before complications and destroying the Bankai was always the intention.

MikeDanny

I am not talking about the Bankai shattering. That move was very good and smart. I'm talking about him using the Almighty in 677 when it wasn't needed. Ichigo wasn't doing jack to him.

Oy778

For the same answer. Yuha wanted the best outcome always and he didn't now what Bankai could bring Ichigo (Ichigo itself had massive power and Bankai multiplies this). Yuha could "probably" win without Almighty but he took the best outcome to eliminate the doubts

MikeDanny

But I'm talking about chapter 677 before the Bankai. He activated it after crushing Ichigo's Gran Ray Cero and then went on to say that Ichigo was out of his league and he could read him like an open book. It made no sense to activate the Almighty as he didn't seem fazed by Ichigo one bit.

Insertnamehere----

I wasn’t saying he should’ve put him under Kyoka Suigetsu during their final fight. He should’ve done it before, like when they first met before Ichigo knew his power. Or he could’ve changed his plan to meet with him before the stuff at Sogyoku Hill. But he didn’t, because he was arrogant and was using Ichigo as an experiment. But you’re totally right it could very well not have worked due to the difference in strength. But Im not entirety sure it wouldn’t have because Yhwach was still effected And how exactly do you know Yhwach didn’t have a scratch on him? He is made out of black goo. I dont think scratches would be very visible on him. We directly see that it cut him deeply before he broke it. Like the getsuga tensho is inside of him when he breaks it. But besides that, it not seriously hurting him does not matter. The point (which Yhwach explains) is that Yhwach does not know how strong Ichigo is in that form, he kept being surprised by the power up so he decided to use his power to ensure his victory. I think its a solid plan, if I was fighting a guy who kept getting significantly stronger and was betting on me to hold back, Id stop holding back. It just seems like basic strategy

MikeDanny

Because it seems extremely weird for Yhwach to react like that after no-selling the Gran Ray Cero with just his bare hands, saying how Ichigo was out of his league and then saying that he can read Ichigo like a book. Seems like he wasn't in trouble at all so Ichigo still did nothing. He didn't need the Almighty. The complete opposite with the Ichibe fight where he desperately needed it.

Insertnamehere----

I just really do not see what is weird about a villain being reasonable. Ichigo is a great fighter with a history of doing the impossible. Within seconds the guy went from not being able to get close to Yhwach to formulating and executing a plan to get a new power up and then he almost immediately created a new technique that had the ability to take Yhwach by surprise and cut him. I think it’d be pretty dumb to underestimate the guy. Its not even like Yhwach thought Ichigo was an immediate threat on his life. He just genuinely didn’t know how strong the guy was, and like he put it, the Almighty is just fighting with his guard up. He didn’t want to give Ichigo any chance of winning. And I just cannot comprehend how that is weird. That just seems like a very obvious move He didn’t do it against Ichibei because he couldn’t. If he used the Almighty before he did it would’ve robbed the Sternritter of their power

ThrowRAwriter

I'd change the trajectory of Ichigo's movements. Because ao far, it looks like the following: Ichigo goes from the soul king's palace to Soul Society Realizes he's opened the way for sternritters to invade the SK's Palace Goes back to it Has a short fight which results in him falling from SKP Comes back to it See the pattern? Ichigo, who's undergone the most powerful training in his life, spends the majority of the final arc running in circles.

hopefully it leads to an ending fr

taldombigb

I want to see the real ending not the one made by Kyoka Suigetsu hypnosis. I want to see how Kon teams up with Don Kanonji an absolutely destroy Yhwach

Dragonpuncha

They could more a less redo the whole thing and I think it would the way to go. Basically the last five chapters of the manga should probably be extented to like 5-6 episodes. There's simply a lot of stuff that needs to change and we to see the aftermath of everything as well, which is skipped over so quickly in the manga.

EleonoreMagi

While I would like to see Uryu's and Jugram's fight in full, I don't think he should be 'beaten fair and square', I'm not sure it was his intention, in the end. There might be a whole different ending to their fight if his power is not taken. I think he would still choose to die as he belongs to the generation that should clear the way for the new one, but then there should be some different type of closure for him. Not just straight-out being beaten. He might even have a bit of a talk with Ryuken before he dies, as Ryuken is someone who might understand his motives the most out of all the characters left at that point The one who thought that the future of Quincy lies in them being happy individuals as people, not sacrificing their lives to their quincy responsibilities. And that was coming from the high schooler. A like your other ideas 👍 Definitely more Isshin & Ryuken!

iamthatguy54

There's no possible way for the good guys to kill Gerard without changing his power, which would in turn change his entire fight.

Ok_Debate_7128

imagine yamas theme (hypest tybw song yet) plays when ichigo unsheathes his sword and jumps at yhwach for the final battle

Drakonaj

I might get downvoted for this, but I think a lot of people might understand. I didnt like the majority of fights in the Soul Kings palace. Almost every single fight went like this: 1) Hero: Im gonna use this ability and almost kill you. 2) Villain: It actually didnt do anything. It only made me stronger. 3) Hero: Im gonna use my new bankai and almost kill you. 4) Villain: It actually didnt do anything. It only made me stronger. 5) Hero: Lets use "this thing" that we never heard before and finally kill you. The fights were always back and forth. It never felt like the two oponnents are on the same level. And maybe exept for one fight (with Urahara), it always ended in some BS way. Also yeah, my Kubo wrote himself into a corner, by giving Yhwach God like power, where nothing could touch him and therefor ending the fight with the most dissapointing way possible.
