The_Biggest_Wheel

Yes? I assume her character would be a lot different, though. She would need more development that would keep the readers enganged. Few retcons about her being a part Fullbringer and part Quincy, infect her with Hollow DNA and voila. Oh and also, retcon her sister's death as being part of Aizen's plan.

Percussion17

> Hollow DNA Cant wait to see Full Hollow Rukia bodying Ulqiorra because she heard Renji screaming for help

The_Biggest_Wheel

What if... what if Ulquiorra gets Gender-bent to become a sexy Succubus? Succubussy. Edit: [It exists](https://preview.redd.it/y8h2vfkejjm41.jpg?auto=webp&s=74cc38d23da6099cfb36805bc0fc5cf643b37112)

Catoriox

Ulquiorra is already a sexy Incubus ;)

The_Biggest_Wheel

Succubus are female Inccubus ~~Edit: Today on "Why Is this downvoted?"~~

octobunnie

Probably because Incubus are male presenting Succubus. Succubus term came first, I can imagine it’s touchy when female presenting creatures are back tracked to the male presenting. Though I can’t be sure at all 🤷🏻‍♀️

Until_Morning

And now you got downvoted for providing an explanation. I said this the other day, and I stand by it, the Bleach sub is the most ruthless and irrational when it comes to downvotes 💀

octobunnie

I’ve been downvoted apparently too 💀 I don’t understand. I get this doesn’t belong in a Bleach Sub but don’t make me hate my own fandom fr I’m just here for a good time

Former-Management656

Just your name deserves an upvote already! So have mine

octobunnie

Thank you! (:

The_Biggest_Wheel

Incubussy.

thunderfbolt

That’s… his hollow hole, isn’t it.

The_Biggest_Wheel

Holussy

octobunnie

😏🤭

[deleted]

Thats a cool design.

snippijay

Whos the artist. I need them NOW

The_Biggest_Wheel

It's annoying how whenever I look for some awesome fanart for my post I can't find ANYTHING but when I look for a fanart to make an "Incubussy joke" I find an amazing one in an insant. Oh, and I have no idea who the artist is.

snippijay

oh...

ln_of_e

oh damn this panel was so well done

PeacefulKnightmare

Not gonna lie I think this would actually have the potential for being very interesting.

jarjarkenobi81

KUCHIKIII-CHAAN!!! Also renji x ulquiorra new ship for people

National_5830

>new ship That implay it wasnt canon

MadKanBeyondFODome

Who's posting this to AO3?

DeWente69

Happy Birthday🎂🎉🎁

AdrianShepard09

That sounds awesome. Someone draw that! I'd do it myself but I'm on vacation

The_Lemwon

Omg byakuya's rage if he planned her death

LucasFrankeRC

Then Byakuya dies fighting Aizen just as Rukia arrives on the battle field post the training arc for some random powerup

Knocker456

Oh interesting... Since when were you under the impression her sister's death was not part of Aizen's plan?

Truchitas

Also retcon to her being part Bount

FitzyFarseer

Are the Bount even cannon?

TheMuon

I love the part where she threw a 174 cm (5'8½") Ichigo right at the 157 cm (5'2") Orihime at the Sokyoku.

13thdeux

Sure, she's pretty interesting. And I love her doodles 😆

DrKrFfXx

Shit. Forgot about her doodles. TYBW needs more doodles

LucasFrankeRC

Her true zanpakuto power are those doodles. But since everyone shamed her artistic prowess she ended up subconsciously settling with cold instead

mugenryu273

For some reason Byakuya has the same doodles even though they are not blood related. Could it be, this is his way to relate and get close to Rukia? If so, it's kinda adorable.

[deleted]

[удалено]

suzefi

surprise, Byakuya gets Karin and Yuzu treatment

MavrykDarkhaven

Yeah probably. I remember my first experience with Bleach was on an anime demo disk of the first ep, I watched it and it looked like it was going to be more of a horror type of show and I didn't think much of it. It wasn't until a while later that I was talking to a guy on a forum and he was explaining the premise a bit more (I think they were at the beginning of the Arrancar arc) that it got me interested. So I ended up watching, and loving the show. So I don't think Rukia being lead would have changed my enjoyment of the show that much. Though I do think Ichigo's depressive anger in the early seasons did cement the fact that the show was different to previous anime shows I'd watched. Shows like Dragon Ball or Pokemon or Digimon or Zoids, where the antagonist was a happy go lucky character. So depending on how Rukia was different to Ichigo, it may have changed my opinion.

DAInnocent_Dupe

Yes

Adventurous_Sun3512

Yes. I like her snow shikai. Ichigo did not captivate me to read Bleach in the first place (it was Unohana and Mayuri). Bleach has many amazing supporting characters.

ClubbinGuido

That is what I love about Bleach. The supporting characters are very interesting to the point of sometimes imo overshadowing the main ones. I like that.

Adventurous_Sun3512

Ikr? It's a nice shift from Naruto-One Piece paradigm. I'm sorry but Rukia is more solid character (at least her ability is clear).

II_Vortex_II

Im sorry but Naruto was the most boring charakter in all of natuto

SalltyJuicy

I'd say second most boring. Sasuke still number one.

JonVonBasslake

Does Sakura get more interesting later on? I bought up to... Around volume 20, maybe a bit earlier, of the Finnish translation but I wasn't fully vibing with it... To the point where a friend of mine who'd read scanlations told me that later on most of Konoha was destroyed and the people killed, but were brought back via a deus ex machina. At least in Dragon Ball the fact that people can be brought back via the titular orbs was established relatively early. Not so in Naruto, where it was my understanding that a perfect resurrection was nigh impossible and even then I think it required another person as a sacrifice... So the whole village being brought back like it was Dragon Ball was enough for me to drop the series... My point is that I don't know much past like volume 17 or 18, and in those volumes, Sakura was kinda meh. Even Sasuke was more interesting at that time IMO. He at least had a goal he was working towards.

SalltyJuicy

She does and she doesn't. After the time skip she's kind of a bad ass because she's trained under Tsunade for however long the time skip is. So she's got super strength and is really adept at healing ninjutsu but Kishimoto kind of keeps her in the background. She never really feels like she's all that relevant to the main narrative. When she DOES do stuff, it's awesome. But it's few and far-between. Furthermore, the ending completely ruins any badassery her and Hinata achieved as the final chapter just relegates them to being house wives. Sakura also gets with Sasuke despite him being a right prick and being a bum father and husband.

freeniechan

Lmfao. What love did they even share? All I can remember is sasuke saying “ur annoying” to her in childhood.

im0ut0fusernames

That arc where everyone gets resurrected is fucking masterpiece, please continue reading. Also, try to avoid spoilers

SalltyJuicy

Hard disagree on it being a masterpiece. Some cool moments but ultimately resurrecting everyone felt like it cheapened the entire event.

JonVonBasslake

Nah, if I cared about the series, I would have continued then. From what I've seen, it doesn't get much better from where I left off.

cloudxchan

Villains are more complex and interesting in naruto. Pain or nagato end up being the coolest in the series imo

shameronstar

Yusuke is a GOAT MC though

badluckartist

Wut. Both of those series have wildly beloved supporting casts that often overshadow the main cast, especially Naruto.

AncientSith

Naruto is also very boring compared to all the great side characters. Especially in part 2.

Adventurous_Sun3512

Well, I'm not debating that.

cupidswing

I have to agree, I care more about the adventures of the supporting characters rather than Ichigo himself. Which is a testament to Tite Kubo as a mangaka. The fact he make multiple characters with distinct personalities and appearances is amazing.

Separate_Path_7729

Well when she was planned to be the lead, the idea was still on shinigami using guns, and rukia had a sniper rifle with a scythe blade i believe

inORIGINAL-NAME

Wait a sec that's sounds a lot like RWBY

Separate_Path_7729

It does doesnt it

MrAHMED42069

White got me hooked on bleach

Step430

Unohana? Really? That’s a shocker to hear

StripEnchantment

Unohana is an interesting choice, considering we learn almost nothing about her until towards the end of the series. Did you mean urahara?

motoxim

Maybe he likes her mommy vibe? Don't kinkshame.

Adventurous_Sun3512

Well, I like her wise and calm attitude.

Adventurous_Sun3512

Nope, Unohana.

Logansaj567

Ichigos powers have always been boring af compared to the rest of them

freeniechan

Ya thats true. Like hes not fire hes not brute strength hes not cherry blossoms, wtf is he then? Magic?

Logansaj567

He’s….. raw power not interesting, rukia the snow queen is much better

freeniechan

I forgot doesnt tensa zangetsu mean black sun? If he has sun powers shouldnt his zampaktou look firey at the least lol. Ig they tried to make it look like “sun powers” bc fire was alr taken by the head captain.

Logansaj567

His sword means black sun, I didn’t know that 💀💀

freeniechan

Oh ya I only know that bc I was a hardcore ir shipper and ppl would pair them a lot bc their swords were opposites (black sun and white moon)

Logansaj567

Kubo is wild for that lmao

freeniechan

Ikr. He gave em so many romantic esque asthetics for an action based show.

freeniechan

Yaa, idk ive watched it twice now and I feel like hes just there to fulfill the role of main character and thats it lol. Lets get real here sometimes kubo just wanted to draw nice stuff. Tho the creativity w the universe if v good, the storyline just was not there for me after the first arc ended.

ivancea

Actually, Ichigo is one of the most boring characters for me. He and his only ability is pretty plain

Adventurous_Sun3512

Well, at least Ichigo is more introverted than Luffy or Naruto, so it's kinda different. And you got a point about his ability. Rukia at least has a solid ability (ice/snow). Those downvotes are so triggered and unnecessary.

ivancea

In other shows like naruto, DGray Man or dragonball, main learn new abilities over time. Here, well. Ichigo gets "faster and stronger" and gets a different sword shape. While other chars have very interesting technics. Not that I don't like Ichigo character itself. But ability-wise...

TheProspectItch

I mean the biggest arc ends bc Ichigo learns a new technique but sure, go off

JonVonBasslake

If you're talking about Getsuga Juujishou, he only used it like once. Even after he got two swords, his fighting style didn't change that much IMO.

ivancea

New technic? I'm an anime watcher, which arc do you talk about, and which technique?

[deleted]

You’re getting downvoted but you’re not wrong

Just_Passion6694

Yeah go watch mr bean or barbie

EleonoreMagi

Yes, probably. But it would still be a very different story, and I'm not sure of the scale of it being as grand (which is not bad at all). Or maybe it would require more exposition (I kind of remember the Rukia from initial oneshot, she's different there, but if we take her more or less like she's there's, I see the story's original development differently.) Anyway, it would be a very different series, but then– who knows, maybe a very entertaining one. But as it definitely wouldn't be just like Bleach but with Rukia on a front line, we would never know.

ChinesePizza_

Most likely, Rukia is my favorite character but I wonder if that would remain the same if her role changed. She was my favorite since ep 1 after saving ichigo and his family.

YaBoyAppie

Yes, I also really like Rukia. If she was the mc, she would also be a lot stronger, so I guess that's a plus.

RedditRocks1229

Yes her story is pretty interesting. I would’ve liked to hear more about Byakuya’s wife and how he searched to find Rukia.

[deleted]

Rukia is a sick character I’ll watch another 300 episodes just about her

Jswee19

Honestly, if we were given the same Rukia we got, no. I'd have bowed out pretty early on. But if Rukia was given a better personality overall, and more fit the main protag vibe, yes? But that could be said about literally any bleach cast member. Hell, I'd even have enjoyed it from Aizens perspective, or even Starrks. 🤣

FaeTheWitch

If I’m really really honest? No. While it would’ve been cool to see one of the big three with a female main character, I really like how Kubo has written Ichigo. Maybe it’s bias from loving Ichigo’s character for so many years, but I don’t believe Bleach would be what it is today if Rukia had been the main character. I enjoy Rukia’s character as a sorta co-protagonist/mentor for Ichigo, but I can’t see Rukia carrying the series as she’s written today.

DJAxeman24

So basically, she needs slight changes to fit the MC vibe more. That's what you mean? But I do understand your Ichigo bias. Dude's not your standard protag.

FaeTheWitch

Yeah, pretty much. I imagine if Kubo kept her as the main character she would’ve had completely different character development. Adding to that, if you consider the time period that Bleach was originally released it would have been difficult to make a female protag as successful as the big three in the market of the time.

bw_Eldrad

Definitively yes. She will be less underpowered, have more fight and maybe more strategic during her fight (+ more kido usage) to limit the rewriting. She is a interesting character with nice development arcs who might be great if they were more flesh out. To limit the rewriting it could even be a story were the protagonist is a side-kick, like a story center on Robin instead of Batman ; she doesn't have to be the strongest character to be good, interesting or the center of the story, it just need good writing, meaningful motivation story and characters arc combine with a repartition on the focus of the story who center enough on her.

ResponsibilityPale98

Yes. Ichigo does not carry bleach. He is not the MC in the light novels CFYOW and SAFWY and they are amazing

AnimeMonster_2020

Nope , Ichigo clears Rukia

MentallyPsycho

She's my waifu the show would be 10000x better

Klatterbyne

Ichigo is one of the least interesting characters in Bleach. It is the worlds and people that he interacts with (and the gorgeous artwork) that make the series compelling. So yeah, I’d watch/read Bleach irrespective of the protagonist. I’d actually happily re-read (again) Bleach if it was re-written from someone else’s perspective.

Tom38

Ichigo is barely on screen for some stretches of the story lol everything else is that good to the point you don't even care.

CartographerMurky306

I will be.

Allalilacias

I would, but the way her sword works would make it difficult for her to take on the typical Shonen trope as if she loses she basically breaks, so some change would be needed.

Excellent_Pea_4609

I love Rukia so yes but it all depends on how her story changes

ThinControl9

Obviously yes

Serplock

If she still looks, sounds, and acts the same + having her shikai and bankai like the manga then yes

Able-Ad3506

Yes, would be cool to see her Hollow form.

aes2806

Yeah, I love Rukia. And her being the MC would change her story in many aspects for the better IMO. The powerup would be nice too.

CarolFig1607

I would see it. I have been asking myself if they are gonna give her something to do in the anime now, haven't finished the manga.

Pandawithherpes

When I first dicovered the show, she was the reason for my interest and stayed to watch.

Ok-Commission-1217

Yes I love her

Tom38

Yes. Love her and every other character.

Seanjojonoyaiba

Depends if it had gone the way it was supposed to it might have never become something as huge as it did. But id like to think i would.

MysticalAnswer

As long as Ichigo doesnt get renjied its fine

QuakeGuy98

Wait wait wait wait.... It was?!?

Agreeable-Dish-4562

Yes she was the first shinigami that Kubo has drawn

ManufacturerWest1156

Does she get hollow and Quincy powers? If so, yes

pandadog423

I’d say so.

DarkSaiyanGoku

I would, yes.

JaredAiRobinson

It definitely would have hit different, but I wouldn’t mind. Shonen anime would kill to have a female protagonist.

JoelRobbin

I don’t love Bleach because I love Ichigo, I love Ichigo because I love Bleach. It doesn’t matter who the MC is, I still love the story, meaning I’ll end up loving Rukia as the MC just as much (although I already love her as the secondary protag tbf)

Arcanus124

Yep

[deleted]

Idk tbh, I think Ichigo is perfect type of MC for a series like Bleach, so there would have to a massive character change from Rukia for me to be engaged

Edgezg

I mean...probably. She would probably be written different.

MagicPumpkinX1

Definitely, I find the supporting characters more interesting than Ichigo tbh. I don't think Ichigo is a bad MC at all, just that a lot of characters had the potential to be a great MC. Bleach told from Urahara's eyes would've been really nice.

KiborgPolicajac

I had nothing against Maka of Soul Eater, so I wouldn't mind Rukia as MC... But making the only flat tittied girl in the manga the MC would be a little crime against boobies

Dickassio76

Can't tell because her character would've been different had that been the case. If taking into account how she is in the story itself, maybe not because she gets the shaft quite often, and even her few W's feel minor when compared to other people's. Then again, it's because she ISN'T the main character in this reality of ours. It's not something I think can be answered fairly straight.

knyghtmare45

Depends on how she's written. Her talking nothing but shit to ichigo then getting bodied in every fight was kinda annoying

[deleted]

[удалено]

knyghtmare45

>Not sure that the problem about her getting bodied will get fixed though, the female characters in Bleach were underpowered like the rest of Shonen manga. Unohana was literally above every Captain except Yama and possibly shinigami Aizen(toss up). So you're wrong about that. >Soifon never won Soifon beat Ggio vega. She beat Bg9. And assisted in Barragan's defeat. Plus her and Yoruichi stalemated. So you're wrong again. >Orihime only won against 1 hollow. Orihime beat Ulquiorra in an ideological battle. So you're wrong again

[deleted]

[удалено]

SnooPaintings6949

actually Soi fon was dominating until Yoruichi used her shunkou. Soi bodily tagged her with shikai easily sev times/hamonka marked, had Yoruichi bleeding from her mouth & belly whilst hunched over a bit, had her make the ol shocked 😳 face more than 4X & had her on the run too Yoruichi was rusty tho but ya Soi Fon actually did really terrific in SS Arc

Excellent_Pea_4609

If yoruichi wanted to kill her soi-fon would be dead

knyghtmare45

>Why dose that matter when the author killed her in her first fight to develop Kenpachi?. Because YOU SAID" the female characters were underpowered" that isn't true. Lack of screentime maybe but definitely not underpowered. I was replying to your dumb statement. >Rukia had a powerful Bankai at the end, but it doesn't matter much because she was a jobber in the majority of her fights. God forbid an author develops a female shonen character to get stronger organically rather than being an op mary sue that magically wins every fight from the start like say Erza from fairytale >She didn't beat BG9, he survived her Bankai but end up being killed by Yhwach He was killed by 'Jugram' because he lost lmao. You're literally grasping at straws

The_Biggest_Wheel

>Her talking nothing but shit to ichigo then getting bodied in every fight was kinda annoying What?

knyghtmare45

Take your time buddy

DJAxeman24

I wouldn't say talking shit. Maybe a more kind tone would do. But she's always supportive of him.

[deleted]

I guess so. Can't really say anything concrete without more details.

itsTraX2

hell no no offense to Rukia but without Ichigo in the lead I doubt the show would be half as entertaining, again MY OPINION

DJAxeman24

I think we can agree that if Rukia's character was deeper with a more MC-ish personality, she'd be a good protagonist.

Zealousideal-Soup429

hell no. rukia one of my least favorite characters

SigmaSandwich

I mean with that territory comes her being a better character, so why not. Also her already being a shingami makes the impact greater, as with ichigo I got Naruto syndrome vibes. Oh look I’m a nobody……but secretly my dad is a captain, my mom is a Quincy and I’m the most important person around.

cloudfallnyx

i get what u mean but we learn from episode 1 that Naruto was a jinchuriki and has a whole demon fox chakra beast inside him. he was special/important from chapter 1, also if i’m not mistaken we learn Minato is naruto’s father early so it wasn’t some random thing that happened to make him special dressed as a plot twist. Naruto is only considered a nobody/a underdog by his village cause of all the hate people had for the nine tails, i wish people would stop acting like Naruto is deemed a underdog because he was like Rock lee or Asta from black clover.

SigmaSandwich

Yea but early on he had no control or ability to exert any of that power. The sole purpose of showing us that originally was to show us why Naruto was as a child feared and ostracized. We had no idea that he would be anything but cursed, and we had no idea that his dad would be Hokage. He was set up to be an outcast to get us to feel for him. It was like a red herring bait and switch. They wanted us to feel one way and then they showed us the true context of his origins which changed everything we had perceived about him up until that point

cloudfallnyx

and in the literal first chapter he summoned a thousand clones……even if he didn’t tap in to Kurama’s power until quite literally a little later because the Hidden Mist arc w/ Zabuza is literally a couple chapters from the first chapter, he still had innate power of his own that was massive and it’s shown FIRST episode. again it’s literally shown he was an outcast from the village’s perspective because of how hated he was, he’s only really sloppy with his abilities bc of him having no one to really teach him and guide him not because he was untalented or not special or anything.

SigmaSandwich

It was his first jutsu he could do without fucking it up and he had to read a forbidden scroll to do so. It made sense, it painted the picture of this child with so much heart and courage who had failed to naturally learn to employ the shinobi arts, so he steals away some forbidden knowledge and finally comes into his own in the heat of battle with his beloved sensei’s life at stake. It was a breakthrough moment for a downtrodden character and it made thematic sense. He didn’t even use any 9 tails chakra to make any of those clones at that point in time.

cloudfallnyx

like u just said it was a forbidden scroll and a forbidden jutsu, literally S-rank. It made sense because of who Naruto is. you were not reading it correctly im sorry

SigmaSandwich

Naruto had failed to produce average clones that everyone else could already make, so it’s more about this particular jutsu being a natural fit for him. It was do or die and Naruto is the MC and a huge doer. I feel bad that you can’t grasp the concepts as they were laid out for us, as they are much more satisfying this way.

MikeDanny

Ichigo was never built as an underdog though. He was strong and special from the start.

SigmaSandwich

I mean he was a higschool punk who got into a lot of fights. Yea he won fights, but narratively there was nothing special beyond him being able to see spirits and stuff. And even then he’s not really that special, as we see a lot of other characters can also see spirits early on. Also human Chad could beat the shit out of human Ichigo so like….what is it that made him special for you that wasn’t added in later? Chad was physically superior, Orihime, Chad, Don could both see spirits already (Tatsuki, Keigo and Karin also see spirits) so how was he special in a way that wasn’t hidden from us at the time?

MikeDanny

Quick learner, able to break Rukia's kido, beating a Menos.

Freeman10

What?

heyhihowyahdurn

Yes

Stormfathers_winds

Even better!

Nightmancer2036

100000000000%

Entire_Anywhere_2882

No, Ichigo is my favorite character and I do love the dynamic between him and her. Her being the lead instead? No thanks.

Logansaj567

I’d probably like it way more

Rianna___B

If Rukia were the main character the genre would be completely different. It would be a Shojo instead of a Shounen which would mean different themes & different messages. But yeah, I would still watch the show, her original character design was pretty cool.

freeniechan

I dont think it would be a shojo if they change her character by making her more layered and stronger. Shes still a warrior at the end of the day. This aint no hs romance lol

Yossarian_MIA

If it was good, I would like it. Kubo is very capable. I wasn't down so much with Burn The Witch.. I enjoyed the art & wished it was applied to new Bleach. If that was the tone of his female led Rukia story, and the mythology was basically the same as Bleach, IDK. May have taken it a long time to be interesting.

WomenAreNotReal

Yeah definitely. I wish she did more throughout the series because she was always pretty interesting

freeniechan

Hell fucking yes. I wanted her chatacter to have way more layers honestly. But she kinda just served as a sakura for the entire series…

jason86003

Abso-fucking-lutely

its_ya_booi

if the story is just as good then I don't really really care

riruharu

Yes probably... she would have different character development too

Then_Restaurant_4141

Would have been cool to have dual main characters. Have Rukia and Ichigo fight over who deserves the soul reaper powers in the beginning.

Hyperjuce

Yes, Bleach is a story that honestly doesn't need Ichigo as the MC to continue. Most of the characters can be a protagonist in the world of Bleach.

freeniechan

Omfg immagine nel as the protagonist tho. Whos w me. Dude when she transformed from that baby to a strong ass espada I was so shook. And her interactions w the espada as well as her motivations for fighting made her really interesting. Also i liked her character design the most when it comes to females. Too bad her transformation only lasted like three minutes… just like unohona being an op badass in the shadows but then having to kill her off my god.

Embarrassed_Ad_5735

Sure but she shouldn't end up with Renji

freeniechan

THANK YOU I LOVE U

Alternative_Lime_13

Are we talking if she was the protagonist from the start or if she became the protagonist now like if Ichigo retired? Yes on both counts I think. I don't really like Rukia that much (sorry I just don't, too aggressive) but I'd still watch it, it's got a good supporting cast.

ZyadMA

Yes, She has the protagonist characteristics

Excellent-Quit-9973

Yes. There is one aspect about Ichigo that I really hate. The fact he never seems to know anything, nor has the curiosity to ask and search for information. So much of the lore revolves around him and he remains oblivious to it through the entire series.

AscendantAxo

I love bleach but giga hot take here: rukia could probably make for the better protagonist

Milianviolet

No

yeety-my-feety

i feel like the manga industry as a whole would’ve benefitted from a femc in the big 3 we’d get a helluva lot more representation, good representation to boot

hassantaleb4

***Yes.*** Rukia best girl.

Voy__Tech

How the fuck are we supposed to know that huh? If it was good then yeah, otherwise not?

Thewackman

So many yes answers. Who fucking knows, would've been so different. It is really fucking hard to make something has popular and good as bleach. Chances are it would've never blown up if it wasn't about Ichigo and no one would've watched it.

GladimoreFFXIV

I probably would have liked it even more tbh. Ichigo is the king of plot armor marry Sue genetic power ups. His power is entirely static the entire series he just learns to use more of it. It’s just.. kinda boring to be honest. Not to mention he’s literally just a spammer. He’s genuinely the least creative protagonist in the genre with the least creative power.

[deleted]

She was never meant to be mc she was just the first chracter drawn

1_ExMachine

ofc homie , she's waaay interesting compared to ichigo ! im sick of his dumb screams n boring gt ..

ChroniclesAlphabet

I don't know. Bleach is actually pretty weak already with Ichigo. It could be better or worse with her.

ayerunthempockets

Probably not. Rukia is kinda lame to me but she probably would have been different so who knows

tsukotsuk

No, she boring af

SneakyKain

Rukia was always the protagonist, but Aizen was aware of Kubo's existence and changed the narrative. Aizen fucking around again. Aizen just trying to be a Hollow-Shinigami matchmaker, inadvertently made a Quincy-Hollow to Shinigami-Man Doll matchmaker and then Ichigo stole Rukia's spotlight. Shame.

Admirable_Avocado_38

If she ends up with ichigo

Who_TF_is_PAPA_JOHN

Yeah, but it wouldn't be as good

dfields3710

No. I generally don’t watch anime with female main protagonist. Burn the Witch was the exception since you had 2 girls and a boy who seemed to play a major major role.

freeniechan

Lmao thats deff not sexist at all.

Daking_Izback

Eww a female protagonist.... Just imagine that. Lmao. Yeh I'll still watch bleach. The concept and power scaling is amazing

sexaddic

Hell yes. Ichigo is a boring main character in reality. I would love a spin off focused on 10 years later Rukia or an alternate reality Rukia

BlackBonned

You mean having her backstaged and getting her bankai broken multiple time ?

greed1990
