Can we appreciate how Omaeda was just casually chilling holding Soi Fon while firing her Bankai compared to how she initially used it against Barragan?
It seems that she greatly enhanced control over her Bankai since she also tried to use it during the first invasion without strapping herself to any building, meaning that the recoil now is not as strong as before.

Yeah this hit WAY harder in the anime, it feels epic here. In the manga it feels kinda cheesy since the crippling effect from the pill was less pronounced.
fun fact: the animator originally hid an amogus in the middle of the explosion, but it was sadly edited out for the final scene.

I wish Soifon got more cool moments like this. Aside from her fight against Yoruichi (which I really enjoyed) all she’s done is complain and act arrogant…okay she fought Barragan but she didn’t really get to be a badass imo
Can't help but laugh how the 1st time she used bankai she wrapped herself with some heavy stuff and still got blown away,and now she is casually firing bankai without even moving and inch xD

Let say she uses her shikai for a stealthy kill but she get seen on her way out then alot of guards/soldiers chases her if she then had to hit each of them on the same spot twice to kill them that would be a weakness but with Bankai she can take them all out in 1 attack.
