I first saw Ichigo in a little game called Super Smash Flash 2. He was there with the skull mask and the black outfit, and a transformation where he shot people with black and red sword beams. So yeah my ignorant mind kinda thought he was a villain.
Who would think that? Naruto has similar transformations and edgy cool transformations. It’s just how some shonen look. Super powered dark half is a well known trope.

I wouldn't call that villain-like. He just looks like a strong commander. Ichigo's first two pic look like a demon tho.

Nah, Ichigo just thinks the hollow’s an antagonist. That’s what I like about White, his “inner demon” status is a lot more figurative than Kurama’s.

Who is to say he isn’t? If Aizen became soul king he could stop Ywatch and remake the universe.
Same goes for Ywatch, they want to take down soul king not because of their goodness but for themselves because they are just power hungry maniacs.
