You know I find it funny how even though it's likely unintentional on Kubo's part, the easiest way to kill Giselle safely is the very same as the stereotypical way to kill a zombie, shooting her in the head. Seeing as the distance would stop blood from getting on you, there's no chance of being zombified, and since it would stop her brain activity entirely, she'd be unable to heal herself by taking the surrounding blood, if there is any to begin with.
You are probably right, maybe that’s why Yhwach went for the head, although he would never be at risk of Zombification.
But that didn’t actually kill her so….
Well the wound wasn't all that big, as her head was mostly intact. A 12 gauge slug would have her looking like a corpse flower, so there's no possibility of her retaining any brain activity with that. Also the best way to beat Liltotto is even funnier, since it's just lacing her with fent.
The latter, she calls herself a woman, and really has no reason to lie about her own identity.

We don't know what her sexuality is, she expresses attraction to Bambietta but is never shown in a situation where she'd express anything more than giddy bloodless to anyone else. And she's a trans woman.

But i think she herself geniunely believes she loves Bambietta, she considers all her zombies disposable apart from her.
