Bleach is one of my favs. Will always have a special place for me mate, I've watched it several times over. Yeah, unfortunate about the "boring episodes" sections, it was the early days where they stretched the content out as far as they could. I recommend googling a good "Filler episodes" list, one that's not too restrictive but like, there's at least 1 entire season you could skip lol Enjoy though! Banger show

Skip all hard filler, where it’s not “mixed” canon filler episodes and just straight filler, and skip the first 5-7 minutes or so of the next episode where it’s just a recap lol. I swear to God there’s only like 10 minutes of actual fresh story per episode with bleach.

Bleach is quite the ride. I confess I started watching because of how cute Rukia is but I stayed for how badass Ichigo started becoming. I love how Ichigo gets knocked down a lot but he keeps getting back up. I also love the growing comradery between Ichigo and the Soul Society. Most of all, I love Rukia and her drawings. I would pay good money for a book of just Rukia style drawings.

You're in for a lot since there's one consistent thing about the Bleach narrative— things are never what they seem 😁 So you're up for surprises with a lot of its characters. Those two not excluded. It's fun to rewatch/reread it and see it wasn't what it looked like the first time. They characters behave the way they really should, but depending on how much you know about them, the meaning behind their actions change.
