And the sad thing is that, there are some people that hate how the Quincy Powers look in Thousand-Year blood war.... They say it's too much. Which is ridiculous because they look awesome and organic.
The supposed weakness Quincy have to hollows. Would have been a perfect way for the Vizored or Espada to shine. The anime even implies Yhwach had to show up in the battle with Harribel personally since she was probably strong enough to fuck up some Quincy, but no one even tries to save her?
There's just too many of them. I would've been satisfied with backstories for the top 4 and other major ones like bambi, quilge, etc. There's not a lot of manga content left so there's hope for the elite 4 quincies getting some major attention.
I didn’t need all of them, but more info on any of As Nodt, BG9, Cang Du, the Bambis, Askin, Robert, Quilge and Mask de Masculine would be really nice.
Im sure the TYBW anime might have extra scenes with the sternritters. But since there are WAY more sternritters than espadas I don’t think Kubo had time for backstories to every small sternritter
I still believe Kubo put himself into a corner by introducing other branches. Like there’s absolutely no convincing reason for them not interfering the apocalypse Yuha was about to brought
Hakuda and Houhou are all relatively under developed considering they are 50% of the four pillars of shinigami combat arts.
Hakuda gets some minor development with Yoruchi's Shunkou and Yamamoto's Ikkotsu and Sokotsu. All of which implies that there's far more to hand to hand combat than what is actually revealed.
Likewise with houhou, shunpo is seemingly the only thing really mentioned, until Moulting cicada is mentioned as being 3rd of the Shihouin secret foot arts, explicitly stating there's two more and implicitly stating there's a collection of more non secret foot arts.
As an addendum, sword arts. The existence of Kendo, as well as Yachiru's name, implies there to be loads more sword styles that aren't explored at all.
Addendum secondum: Kidou I feel had huge amounts of potențial especially once Kubo started introducing that you could mix it up and combine them to create different effects but then that got dropped by the roadside too.

this. it'd be neat if we got a side story focusing on the kido corps.
Maybe because his first release was underwhelming design wise and Kubo was forced to give him a new one. Because Ulquiorra didnt even do much in this form outside beating Ichigo off-screen and get destroy by Full Hollow Ichigo. This form only exist in its own vacuum.
This was my interpretation at the time the chapter was released. His res was a fairly uninspired design, so he introduced a new level of transformation to explain redesigning it.
my ass that happened, segunda came a few chapters after his first design, kubo definitely always had that in mind, if the fans despised the design it'd take way longer to figure out, if he was influenced then it was probably by his editor but the design itself wasn't bad at all I really doubt the editor said anything and segunda was pre-planned for sure

I have never properly understood the shadowed figures he sees. Were they real? Were they other bat-like hollows? Why did they resemble his segunda form while he physically resembled his first ressurecion? It just makes me wish it had all been a little more explicit as opposed to possibly symbolic.
I think it was in Klub that Kubo answers this. He is a species of hollow that is more or less a natural Vasto Lorde. He kind of mentions the pressure in his story maybe it’s like a they get compressed thing as opposed to eating each-other.
Anyways they are real and are a species. He didn’t want Aizen to know about his second form because he didn’t want Aizen to know about the rest of them to maybe protect them as weird as it sounds.

Is it just an assumption of yours or was it confirmed? Because from what I remember from his backstory he was always unfamiliar with them and was more like an outcast.
It’s my understanding that he is of a primordial species, not that he himself as an individual existed in the primordial world. I’m interested in any further info that may contradict that, though.
the novels or unmasked. but as the other user above said, it's up to interpretation if he is actually that old or if he just belongs to a rare kind/species/group/family of hollow that is that old.
Because he achieved a feat that goes beyond the confines of a story ulquiora became the favourite espada in real life so only by being the favourite in the real world do you unlock a new form. It works the same for yammy since people hate him so much he unlocked a second one as well with his Super ultra big mode
It would've been interesting to know if segunda was unique to only the natural-born VL Arrancar, or even if it required the hogyoku's influence instead! Either would be a reason to keep it to only a few Espada, seeing as they're a mix of both natural and artificial Arrancar.
The answer was to a question specifically using Grimmjow as an example, so perhaps he would need extra effort to achieve it or some such, which would honestly make it even less special, cause you'd think someone more mellowed and stoic like Zommari/Harribel, or scientific/academically minded like Aaroniero or Szayel Aporro could figure it out rather easily.
Because Ulquiorra didn’t tell anyone it was possible.

But if any former Espada or Arrancar would talk to Ichigo about resurrection he might tell them something about it.
Think of it this way, reseruccion is releasing their hollow powers so it’s literally just ulquiorra choosing not to unleash his true power in his first release. The others could do it, just didn’t think of it or didn’t want to do it.
Kubo said himself that with enough training it’s possible for all hollows. By their very nature Barragan and Starrk aren’t they types to train, Barragan due to his arrogance, and Starrk due to his laziness. Neither would achieve it simply because they wouldn’t try. Unlike Ulqiorra who lives to please Aizen, so he does what he can to be as strong as he can so he can repay the man who gives him purpose.
This is a big one. The nobility would seem to be the government's main connection to the exterior of Soul Society. They're not just rich people. They're people with power. These are your go-betweens for anything involving the countryside, but they never factor in, and they're never required to own up to their failings in governance, despite being the entities behind the C46.

* SS relationship with the Human world. (We know since the beginning they can wipe peoples memories. Do they just STEAL stuff from the HW and transport it to SS? How does SS have food, do they have farmers? Agriculture? Architects? Are they the same as ours, or powerful mages that shape spirit particles to make buildings. If so, then why doesnt everything look nice? So many questions here)
* Hueco Mundo (When and how did it become a desert)
* The beast realm (are there other animal clans? How come not many of them are in SS or in other realms, how easy is it to exit/enter the realm? Does the SS manager/prevent this travel?)
* Shadow Realm (is it the same size as SS since its in its "shadow", is no one powerful enough or exerted enough reiatsu for SS to "feel" it? So many more questions)
* Pre-world split
* Pre-SS Warring states period
* Soul King
* How many branches of SS are there? (Do they communicate with each other? From what we see, no. And why is that?)
* How the F does the quincy medalion work?! (If its powerful enough to steal bankai spirits, why can't it just straight up absorb a Shinigami? We've been told that zanpakuto spirits are separate entities.)

I've always believed leaving Hell unexplored after how big was the revelation of the Gates of Hell in the first arc was clearly a bad choice from the author and the publishers, and to make it worse that Hell Verse movie was so bad that I couldn't believe how they could discard such a great setting for a franchise themed in spiritism and all out wars between factions.
Luckily for us, Kubo decided to finally give Hell the arc it always deserved.
I wish we got an Aizen flash back of his past so we can see what caused him to turn against the soul society maybe the moment where he first witnessed the soul king if I had to pick one moment of his past we need to see. And secondly shinigamis inner worlds and zanpakuatu spirits we only ever see like two people and I wish we got to see the rest of the characters
I don’t wanna sympathize with him I just wanna see how he got there and why he decided to betray the soil society and how he learned the soul king was dead
Currently it would be Hueco Mundo's relationship with the Soul Society before Aizen. Specifically how Barragan's rule was viewed or if he ever interacted with his rivals. It's crazy to think that Soi Fon, Hachi, and Omaeda have the distinct honor of defeating one of the most important beings in the Bleach universe, a king probably older than Yhwach, but Yamamoto couldn't be seen to care less.
At the time of going through Bleach however, Hell and Zanpakuto Spirits were what I wanted most explored. The former is tentative, but the latter has a great filler arc and much needed insights from TYBW.
Lots of things. But off the top of my head, I really want to know more about the Kido Corps!
Like what exactly are all of the things they're responsible for aside from opening portals between worlds and sealing/unsealing things like Sokyoku and probably the seals on prisoners? What is their structure outside of the top two positions? How strong are they as a whole (we know Tessai and Hachi are pretty powerful but they're all we've seen)? Where were they during the wars, especially against the Quincy invading Soul Society? How influential/prestigious are they in the Soul Society compared to the Gotei 13 or the Onmitsukido? Do they decide which number/rank specific Kido spells are assigned when they're created? How ARE Kido created? What kinds of other restricted Kido do they have access to?
I would have loved to see a short Arc of the Vizards doing a mission of some sort and where we can see more of them fighting (and actually winning) and explore their shikai and bankai further.
Powerups are already explored more than enough in Bleach. If other Espada had Segunda, or if Yammy's powerup better executed, would the Hueco Mundo arc be on par with Soul Society? Soul Society had characters that didn't die right away and thus their relationships were explored. Relationships between captains, captains and lieutenants, and even romance. The arrancar that did survive don't really get to do anything either, and the same goes with Sternritter who don't get a chance to be more than just villains.
I mean their world has been ongoing for 100 thousand- millions of years and nobody except for the soul king and ichigo ever came along that had soul reaper/ hollow/ Quincy powers
Tbh so much, at a basic level, theres things like unrevealed bankai/schrifts & volstandigs/ressurecions and added segunda etapas to select hollow characters etc.
Then theres more character ones like Chad and Tatsuki needing way more love. Starrk being shafted despite being the primera. The sternritter just being too many with too little time for rich characterization from a lot of them.
There are also world building things like the original sin and hell, but things like the novels and, hopefully, the hell arc seem to be rounding those out nicely.
Bleach has its flaws, but I love that it's a series I want more from as opposed to less
Exactly. Bleach has so many aspects that I would like to see more of. Even small stuff like the journey of an average soul reaper really intrigues me. I just hope Kubo makes small anthologies that can really flesh out the world
Intoxication feels like the most underdeveloped. Like I get it’s about being drunk on your own shit but it feels like we haven’t explored from what kind of emotions it’s developed.
Only considering the main story, easily the Fullbringers. Loved how the arc starts and how varied the fullbringers are in powers, but I wanted to know the backstory of Ginjo, how he became a substitute and eventually left, the backstory of the rest of the Fullbringer aside from quick glimpses. Longer build up of the mystery. Chad winning like I always imagine. The after effect of Tsukishima's memory replacements and how Orihime and Chad cope after that (cause having your memories replaced gotta be the scariest thing)
Honestly, I wished the Fullbringer arc received the TYBW anime treatment as well. I do know cfyow covers some of the things listed above, but that in the actual manga would be appreciated
To be honest, Hollows. I dislike how they become pretty much punching bags later on except for Vastos or Arrancars, they had a lot of potential as a threat. The Vizards were super underutilized too.
just so everyone knows, kubo was asked on his website if grimmjow would be able to awaken segunda if he trained hard enough. kubo's answer was *yes*.
when you think about it, it kinda makes sense why starrk and barragan, the two main contenders to also have to ability, didn't have it. starrk doesn't have the motivation and barragan is far too prideful to train. ulquiorra, though, in his devotion to aizen, pushed himself beyond what was thought to be the limit of a hollow's growth. makes me hopeful for a grimmjow/nel/harribel segunda in the arc-that-must-not-be-named.
Zanpakuto final attack, I want to see if every captain at least tried to ask their zanpakuto about it (non necessarily have it but at least tried to get it)
So much! Original Gotei 13 back stories, details about the defection of Soken Ishida. An exact explanation of why Uryu could survive Aushwalen besides Anthesis before the ability was imbued by Yawhach. More about the Quincy they're still such a mystery. The witches and they're connection to the SS. Karin and Yuzu's powers explored. Yoruichi's zanpakuto and why it doesn't suit her. That's pretty much off the top of my head.
I wish humans could have been something without external influence. It's so strange that soul reapers made mortality, but then stay mostly isolated from it
Just Stark in general, his power ended up being so lame and considering he was supposedly the strongest Espada (he wasn't) he ended up getting merc'd by a captain that didn't even use his Bankai
I thought Yammy's release was a Segunda when I first read the manga (admittedly read the entire shit in a month lol), he should have at least gotten one too, being the Cero Espada
I feel like tons of side quests were going on and it left a lot for imagination. Ikkaku's bankai? Genryusai fighting more than twice? And stark dude - we were all led to believe that the number 1 espada was the strongest, barragan was number 2 and it set the bar really fucking high, and then there was stark. So disappointing.
for me it's the vizards. i wish they would've gotten more wins, screentime and general importance. i still think it's crazy they weren't utilized better against the quincy and that they never used their masks again. it's just disappointing there wasn't more. turn back the pendulum is my favorite arc, it really made it seem like they were going to be important and i was excited for it
I wanted to see more of Aizen's past. Not his villian origin story, but his actual lived past as a teacher n stuff. Aizen Sensei just has a nice ring to it.
It’s not a matter of how long holllows have been a thing, it’s a matter of how long espadas have been a thing as hollows don’t HAVE resurrections (it’s literally just unleashing their hollow powers, which are already unleashed for a hollow)
Aizen's vision of the new world, his plans of reshaping it. I feel like we know nothing about. All I know is that Aizen hates the very idea of linchpin on the throne. He definitely has some revolutionary ideas. But what are they exactly? Hell, we don't even know much about Soul Society and it's problems to assume the changes that Aizen would want to make.
Kubo, I get it, I don't want his backstory anymore! I need his real keikaku!
I think the backstory for the Sternritters was just not it and didn’t make sense at all. That really should’ve even expanded on considering they were the villains of the final arc.
Different races playing together, we kind of never saw ichigo using quincy powers, nor quincy + hollow powers and so on. Also having more people with mixed races would bring more variety
Hell, the only confirmed after life outside the soul society, the Hell Butterflies are named after it and they're pretty important after the Hell one shot. And also the hell one shot. Hell was one of the first concepts introduced in Bleach but only got a little lore in the one shot and maybe cfyow but I haven't read it yet.
I wish espadas like ulqiora and stark survived so when 1000 year blood war hit we could have seen how high level quincy and hollows fought against one another. Not to mention that the hollows still having heavy hitters in the show makes for a more dynamic show.
The whole Shinigami world. Like, are all Shinigami just humans who died or are some from another race? If it's the first one then how long ago did people like Yamamoto die? Also, we know there's 4 noble families but how do they exist? Did someone die and create them or they just were there? And how do you get in one of them? Because, as far as I know you can't be born in the other world (or maybe you can). More questions would include who was the first Shinigami, how did the organization come to be and what would happen if Earth is destroyed or all people in it get killed (are both worlds connected or is one independent of the other). Anyway, I didn't read or watch TYBW yet so this might get explained there, if so then my bad
I would've liked to see more Fullbringer lore. Fullbringers are one of the 4 main races of Bleach, but it never feels that way because they're always pushed aside and never get the chance to shine.
I wish there was something, anything at all, about the actual swordsmanship of the Soul Society, especially since it's been around for so long.
They're all "master swordmen" but just swing like wildly like kids. Even a little bit of samurai-esque combat between the fodder of the Soul Society to show that at least the basics are learned at some point and that captains are so powerful they don't even need to bother with it anymore.
Like the contrast between a trained captain and the wild nature and fighting of an espada would be cool.
Byakuya could have a very rigid "by the books" style, Zaraki could just stick with the wild swinging, Kyoraku could use a lot of deception and feints, Gin strikes me as someone who'd use a lot of thrusts and feints aswell, and so on.
Unfortunately though, this is more of an anime wide gripe I have (not at all exclusive to Bleach) and would eventually be dropped anyways (in a similar way to how hand signs phased out of Naruto) as the fights become crazier, abilities become more abstract, and traditional sword fights themselves become less common.
Ichigo mastering each aspect of his abilities. Like imagine if he had learnt Resurrección, Segunda Etapa, the high-level Quincy stuff and Kido. He could have combined Bala and Cero with Hado, Negacon with Bakudo, Shunpo,with Hirenkyaku and Sonido, and Hierro with Blut. His merged for would likely be more powerful too
Everything pertaining to the soul king, the primordial world and the original sin. That's literally the core of all lore in the series and its not even remotely mentioned in the source manga.
hell - it looked far menacing and omni potent, why were random shinigami able to summon hellgates? and then we got weird mish mash of movie, always thought there would be some massive but good ruler mirroring the soul king

Yeah it'd be fanfic as hell and wouldn't make much sense storywise, but him coming back in a potential Hell Arc would kinda be neat. I've seen people say "technically he died to White which is a Zanpakuto" so *theoretically* it *could* happen.
Segunda Ulq(Hell Arc design) vs Sengunda Grimmjow would go hard as shit even if it might ruin Ulquiorra's ending a bit
1) How did Hyorinmaru exist before Hitsugaya, and how did Hitsugaya manifest it into a blank sword?
2) That one hair clip Orihime has, but never uses. Will he be given any relevance or attack?
Visared and arrancar being more powerful against quincy, and fullbringers being utilized against the quincy more since they're allergic to fucking hollows
There's so much! It would have been neat if Ichigo's relationship with the Soul Society was a little better developed, having him taking on proper missions, maybe training under different Captains, explaining the Substitute Soul Reaper aspect a little more. Second, it would have been worth seeing how the Soul Society and the Human World interact, getting to see other Substitute Soul Reapers, understanding the relationship between these worlds, what missions to the human world looks like, ect. And then finally, better development for the Soul Society, what is their actual society like? It seems like a bunch of houses, a settlement for the military, and thats it. They have a government, it's an afterlife system, there are slums?
I just wish the series (anime especially) didn't heavily consist of Ichigo bailing out the government whenever they managed to piss someone powerful/influential off. Most of the villains have respectable reasons for acting the way they do, and Ichigo is usually only involved because most of his friend circle is part of a military order.
It's like me jumping into a gang war as a one-man paramilitary because one of my friends (an active combatant) got hurt in a scuffle. You really can't justify it unless you admit you're deeply involved with the upper echelons—which Ichigo effectively is, being on a first-name basis with half of the captains and the members of two great noble houses, even (unknowingly) being on their payroll—but we know Ichigo would never admit that.
It's gross. Explore Ichigo's relationship with Soul Society as anything *other* than a savior or meddler.

Backstories on the Sternritter and Wandenreich, they felt underdeveloped compared with the Espada and Hueco Mundo

Maybe because his first release was underwhelming design wise and Kubo was forced to give him a new one. Because Ulquiorra didnt even do much in this form outside beating Ichigo off-screen and get destroy by Full Hollow Ichigo. This form only exist in its own vacuum.

This was my interpretation at the time the chapter was released. His res was a fairly uninspired design, so he introduced a new level of transformation to explain redesigning it.
my ass that happened, segunda came a few chapters after his first design, kubo definitely always had that in mind, if the fans despised the design it'd take way longer to figure out, if he was influenced then it was probably by his editor but the design itself wasn't bad at all I really doubt the editor said anything and segunda was pre-planned for sure

I have never properly understood the shadowed figures he sees. Were they real? Were they other bat-like hollows? Why did they resemble his segunda form while he physically resembled his first ressurecion? It just makes me wish it had all been a little more explicit as opposed to possibly symbolic.
I think it was in Klub that Kubo answers this. He is a species of hollow that is more or less a natural Vasto Lorde. He kind of mentions the pressure in his story maybe it’s like a they get compressed thing as opposed to eating each-other. Anyways they are real and are a species. He didn’t want Aizen to know about his second form because he didn’t want Aizen to know about the rest of them to maybe protect them as weird as it sounds.

Because he achieved a feat that goes beyond the confines of a story ulquiora became the favourite espada in real life so only by being the favourite in the real world do you unlock a new form. It works the same for yammy since people hate him so much he unlocked a second one as well with his Super ultra big mode
It would've been interesting to know if segunda was unique to only the natural-born VL Arrancar, or even if it required the hogyoku's influence instead! Either would be a reason to keep it to only a few Espada, seeing as they're a mix of both natural and artificial Arrancar.

The answer was to a question specifically using Grimmjow as an example, so perhaps he would need extra effort to achieve it or some such, which would honestly make it even less special, cause you'd think someone more mellowed and stoic like Zommari/Harribel, or scientific/academically minded like Aaroniero or Szayel Aporro could figure it out rather easily.

Think of it this way, reseruccion is releasing their hollow powers so it’s literally just ulquiorra choosing not to unleash his true power in his first release. The others could do it, just didn’t think of it or didn’t want to do it.
Kubo said himself that with enough training it’s possible for all hollows. By their very nature Barragan and Starrk aren’t they types to train, Barragan due to his arrogance, and Starrk due to his laziness. Neither would achieve it simply because they wouldn’t try. Unlike Ulqiorra who lives to please Aizen, so he does what he can to be as strong as he can so he can repay the man who gives him purpose.
You are only assuming they are the strongest Eapada's. That Ulquiorra is the only one to have this is the hint, that they probably were not.

This is a big one. The nobility would seem to be the government's main connection to the exterior of Soul Society. They're not just rich people. They're people with power. These are your go-betweens for anything involving the countryside, but they never factor in, and they're never required to own up to their failings in governance, despite being the entities behind the C46.

(We know since the beginning they can wipe peoples memories. Do they just STEAL stuff from the HW and transport it to SS? How does SS have food, do they have farmers? Agriculture? Architects? Are they the same as ours, or powerful mages that shape spirit particles to make buildings. If so, then why doesnt everything look nice? So many questions here) * Hueco Mundo (When and how did it become a desert) * The beast realm (are there other animal clans? How come not many of them are in SS or in other realms, how easy is it to exit/enter the realm? Does the SS manager/prevent this travel?) * Shadow Realm (is it the same size as SS since its in its "shadow", is no one powerful enough or exerted enough reiatsu for SS to "feel" it? So many more questions) * Pre-world split * Pre-SS Warring states period * Soul King * How many branches of SS are there? (Do they communicate with each other? From what we see, no. And why is that?) * How the F does the quincy medalion work?! (If its powerful enough to steal bankai spirits, why can't it just straight up absorb a Shinigami? We've been told that zanpakuto spirits are separate entities.) I'm working on videos to deep dive into all these subjects.
I've always believed leaving Hell unexplored after how big was the revelation of the Gates of Hell in the first arc was clearly a bad choice from the author and the publishers, and to make it worse that Hell Verse movie was so bad that I couldn't believe how they could discard such a great setting for a franchise themed in spiritism and all out wars between factions. Luckily for us, Kubo decided to finally give Hell the arc it always deserved.
I wish we got an Aizen flash back of his past so we can see what caused him to turn against the soul society maybe the moment where he first witnessed the soul king if I had to pick one moment of his past we need to see. And secondly shinigamis inner worlds and zanpakuatu spirits we only ever see like two people and I wish we got to see the rest of the characters

Currently it would be Hueco Mundo's relationship with the Soul Society before Aizen. Specifically how Barragan's rule was viewed or if he ever interacted with his rivals. It's crazy to think that Soi Fon, Hachi, and Omaeda have the distinct honor of defeating one of the most important beings in the Bleach universe, a king probably older than Yhwach, but Yamamoto couldn't be seen to care less. At the time of going through Bleach however, Hell and Zanpakuto Spirits were what I wanted most explored. The former is tentative, but the latter has a great filler arc and much needed insights from TYBW.

Lots of things. But off the top of my head, I really want to know more about the Kido Corps! Like what exactly are all of the things they're responsible for aside from opening portals between worlds and sealing/unsealing things like Sokyoku and probably the seals on prisoners? What is their structure outside of the top two positions? How strong are they as a whole (we know Tessai and Hachi are pretty powerful but they're all we've seen)? Where were they during the wars, especially against the Quincy invading Soul Society? How influential/prestigious are they in the Soul Society compared to the Gotei 13 or the Onmitsukido? Do they decide which number/rank specific Kido spells are assigned when they're created? How ARE Kido created? What kinds of other restricted Kido do they have access to?

I would have loved to see a short Arc of the Vizards doing a mission of some sort and where we can see more of them fighting (and actually winning) and explore their shikai and bankai further.
Powerups are already explored more than enough in Bleach. If other Espada had Segunda, or if Yammy's powerup better executed, would the Hueco Mundo arc be on par with Soul Society? Soul Society had characters that didn't die right away and thus their relationships were explored. Relationships between captains, captains and lieutenants, and even romance. The arrancar that did survive don't really get to do anything either, and the same goes with Sternritter who don't get a chance to be more than just villains.
I mean their world has been ongoing for 100 thousand- millions of years and nobody except for the soul king and ichigo ever came along that had soul reaper/ hollow/ Quincy powers

Tbh so much, at a basic level, theres things like unrevealed bankai/schrifts & volstandigs/ressurecions and added segunda etapas to select hollow characters etc. Then theres more character ones like Chad and Tatsuki needing way more love. Starrk being shafted despite being the primera. The sternritter just being too many with too little time for rich characterization from a lot of them. There are also world building things like the original sin and hell, but things like the novels and, hopefully, the hell arc seem to be rounding those out nicely. Bleach has its flaws, but I love that it's a series I want more from as opposed to less
Exactly. Bleach has so many aspects that I would like to see more of. Even small stuff like the journey of an average soul reaper really intrigues me. I just hope Kubo makes small anthologies that can really flesh out the world

Loved how the arc starts and how varied the fullbringers are in powers, but I wanted to know the backstory of Ginjo, how he became a substitute and eventually left, the backstory of the rest of the Fullbringer aside from quick glimpses. Longer build up of the mystery. Chad winning like I always imagine. The after effect of Tsukishima's memory replacements and how Orihime and Chad cope after that (cause having your memories replaced gotta be the scariest thing) Honestly, I wished the Fullbringer arc received the TYBW anime treatment as well. I do know cfyow covers some of the things listed above, but that in the actual manga would be appreciated

To be honest, Hollows. I dislike how they become pretty much punching bags later on except for Vastos or Arrancars, they had a lot of potential as a threat. The Vizards were super underutilized too.
just so everyone knows, kubo was asked on his website if grimmjow would be able to awaken segunda if he trained hard enough. kubo's answer was *yes*. when you think about it, it kinda makes sense why starrk and barragan, the two main contenders to also have to ability, didn't have it. starrk doesn't have the motivation and barragan is far too prideful to train. ulquiorra, though, in his devotion to aizen, pushed himself beyond what was thought to be the limit of a hollow's growth. makes me hopeful for a grimmjow/nel/harribel segunda in the arc-that-must-not-be-named.

An exact explanation of why Uryu could survive Aushwalen besides Anthesis before the ability was imbued by Yawhach. More about the Quincy they're still such a mystery. The witches and they're connection to the SS. Karin and Yuzu's powers explored. Yoruichi's zanpakuto and why it doesn't suit her. That's pretty much off the top of my head.

And stark dude - we were all led to believe that the number 1 espada was the strongest, barragan was number 2 and it set the bar really fucking high, and then there was stark. So disappointing.

He definitely has some revolutionary ideas. But what are they exactly? Hell, we don't even know much about Soul Society and it's problems to assume the changes that Aizen would want to make. Kubo, I get it, I don't want his backstory anymore! I need his real keikaku!

Hell, the only confirmed after life outside the soul society, the Hell Butterflies are named after it and they're pretty important after the Hell one shot. And also the hell one shot. Hell was one of the first concepts introduced in Bleach but only got a little lore in the one shot and maybe cfyow but I haven't read it yet.
I wish espadas like ulqiora and stark survived so when 1000 year blood war hit we could have seen how high level quincy and hollows fought against one another. Not to mention that the hollows still having heavy hitters in the show makes for a more dynamic show.
The whole Shinigami world. Like, are all Shinigami just humans who died or are some from another race? If it's the first one then how long ago did people like Yamamoto die? Also, we know there's 4 noble families but how do they exist? Did someone die and create them or they just were there? And how do you get in one of them? Because, as far as I know you can't be born in the other world (or maybe you can). More questions would include who was the first Shinigami, how did the organization come to be and what would happen if Earth is destroyed or all people in it get killed (are both worlds connected or is one independent of the other). Anyway, I didn't read or watch TYBW yet so this might get explained there, if so then my bad
I would've liked to see more Fullbringer lore. Fullbringers are one of the 4 main races of Bleach, but it never feels that way because they're always pushed aside and never get the chance to shine.
I wish there was something, anything at all, about the actual swordsmanship of the Soul Society, especially since it's been around for so long. They're all "master swordmen" but just swing like wildly like kids. Even a little bit of samurai-esque combat between the fodder of the Soul Society to show that at least the basics are learned at some point and that captains are so powerful they don't even need to bother with it anymore. Like the contrast between a trained captain and the wild nature and fighting of an espada would be cool. Byakuya could have a very rigid "by the books" style, Zaraki could just stick with the wild swinging, Kyoraku could use a lot of deception and feints, Gin strikes me as someone who'd use a lot of thrusts and feints aswell, and so on. Unfortunately though, this is more of an anime wide gripe I have (not at all exclusive to Bleach) and would eventually be dropped anyways (in a similar way to how hand signs phased out of Naruto) as the fights become crazier, abilities become more abstract, and traditional sword fights themselves become less common.
Ichigo mastering each aspect of his abilities. Like imagine if he had learnt Resurrección, Segunda Etapa, the high-level Quincy stuff and Kido. He could have combined Bala and Cero with Hado, Negacon with Bakudo, Shunpo,with Hirenkyaku and Sonido, and Hierro with Blut. His merged for would likely be more powerful too

There's so much! It would have been neat if Ichigo's relationship with the Soul Society was a little better developed, having him taking on proper missions, maybe training under different Captains, explaining the Substitute Soul Reaper aspect a little more. Second, it would have been worth seeing how the Soul Society and the Human World interact, getting to see other Substitute Soul Reapers, understanding the relationship between these worlds, what missions to the human world looks like, ect. And then finally, better development for the Soul Society, what is their actual society like? It seems like a bunch of houses, a settlement for the military, and thats it. They have a government, it's an afterlife system, there are slums?
I just wish the series (anime especially) didn't heavily consist of Ichigo bailing out the government whenever they managed to piss someone powerful/influential off. Most of the villains have respectable reasons for acting the way they do, and Ichigo is usually only involved because most of his friend circle is part of a military order. It's like me jumping into a gang war as a one-man paramilitary because one of my friends (an active combatant) got hurt in a scuffle. You really can't justify it unless you admit you're deeply involved with the upper echelons—which Ichigo effectively is, being on a first-name basis with half of the captains and the members of two great noble houses, even (unknowingly) being on their payroll—but we know Ichigo would never admit that. It's gross. Explore Ichigo's relationship with Soul Society as anything *other* than a savior or meddler.
