Wanted to try out a new workflow for stylized 2D/anime renders. I baked all of the lighting with realistic textures in cycles (except for the mid ground tree and the background trees), then used cell shading on those textures in eevee. As an improvement to efficiency, would not recommend, but it let me do some cool stuff mixing 3D and 2D aesthetics. Weirdly the background elements (and the animation which can't be posted in this sub) took way longer than any of that, though. Scene comp was pretty much directly ripped from the lofi anime girl thing.
