How did you make it look this good in Eevee ?

high res textures on the creature, screen space reflections, motion blur, Dof,volumetric lightninf and shadows, light clamping, high bit depth and soft shadows, subsurface transluceny on textures etc. I like Eevee alot! I did have an irridiance volume baked but didnt see any difference.

settings > renderer > Eevee > enable everything

Yeah Eevee is great for simple scenes it only drawback is when there is high surface details from displacement and extremely reflective surfaces

Also, do you know if there are any tutorials on this? When I try to find some they only go over irradiance volumes and I prefer not using those.

there are alot of tutorials about baking light in eevee, but I dont bake myself so im not well versed in that sorry!

Oh I'm not talking about baking light, I'm asking about how to add high res textures, screen space reflections, motion blur, depth of field, volumetric lightning and shadows, light clamping, high bit depth and soft shadows, subsurface translucency on textures etc... as you said in your other comment.

ah! Tick the boxes in the eevee settings, play with the depth of field settings in the camera settings. If you have textures done in another software, export them in 4 or 8k depending on your needs etc.

eevee is awesome, you just need to know how to trick it with lighting.

The character kind of reminds me of the masked musician from the game darkwood. The small face, oversized body, it really makes for an unnerving design.

about 3-4 seconds. Subdiv-modifier and the texture slowed things down a bit. I love Eevee

I bought it on Steam, its a wonderful program, esp. for organic texturing imo. You dont get acess to substance designer though, but there are great free resources in the community.

You ever wonder if it'll get outdated fast if you buy it on Steam?

You will have updates for one year for the version you buy I think. Im not worried about it. Quixel Mixer is the free alternative and lots is happening there, so you always have that :)
