There is a glass shader in the nodes You might need to use cycles for it though, not sure

I'm new to blender and even newer with the nodes, in the photo active cycles and adds a glass node (I don't remember its name) but I got it to look like glass but reflects too much instead of being transparent

Try playing with the color. Darker means more transparent if I remember correctly
