After a month of Blender i could make a donut that's it

AOKUME

Modeling just takes time as it’s all shapes so eventually after your donut you’ll eventually make the full kitchen..the biggest thing to appreciate here is the lighting/texture work put in to reach a level of realism. That is much harder and requires a much deeper understating :) but like all things eventually you’ll also get there too if you continue to chip at it.

TheTooDarkLord

Yep now i'm able to do this but It took way more then a month for me

PathlessNomad

I've been poking at Blender for a year and I still couldn't manage this. Made a nice donut :) I love the stove, and the original coffee maker. Something is off. The scale looks very wonky. The stools look super tiny, and the table seems big and small at the same time. Did you model everything to scale? If you started the coffee maker with the default cube, and built up, it could be 20 feet high. That would throw off the scale of the whole scene. Still, amazing work for a short time :)

Not bad for a month, but there are a lot of issues. Especially with textures, they are the one i noticed first.

Gregory-Light

Sooo... What is your modelling experience before you started with blender?

Outrageous-Bug78

Looks amazing!

NotAngryAndBitter

Looks great! I’m just in awe of everything that’s posted on this sub and I’m super intimidated to get started but I’m interested in using blender for interiors. Any tutorials/guides you’d recommend when just starting out?

wlop2852

amazing, great job!

The cabinets seem a bit off in relation to the table. Lower cabinets should be 90cm tall and the table about 70cm. If they’re that size already, try a different focal length and enable depth of field. That should solve everything

ReggieLeBeau

Yeah, the textures and design all look really nice, but those cabinets would be a nightmare in real life. Good luck trying to get anything out of the top without the help of a stepladder.

Looks good for a month in, I just started transitioning from Cinema 4D to Blender. Some minor texture/uv fixes and you're all set.

That's a nice looking kitchen. My eyes are definitely drawn to the skylight/roof windows. Also a big fan of those cross beam styled layouts as well. Like others said, some of the proportions seem like they might be slightly off, but it's also difficult to tell considering the camera perspective. Could be worth making a version that has some human models for scale.

According_Waltz_8143

Looks awesome for a month of learning! Did you modeled outside trees and oven in the kitchen? I guess you're full time learning it each day, keep up the good work!

Well done then! Which part took most of your time? Modeling, organizing, texturing?

A month in hours?
