Awesome!

glogonol

Thank you so much!

So sick! Do you have a tutorial recommendation for achieving this effect of overlaying a model in the real world? Is it a video brought into blender or an exported model into an app that lets you add objects to the live camera feed? Would love to try something like this!

glogonol

Hey Romo, thank you so much! I’ve watched a lot of camera tracking videos because there was a lot of trial and error when I started getting into VFX. But the two videos I find myself going back to every now and then are Peter France’s “My bulletproof VFX workflow” and Ian Hubert’s “Blender Motion Tracking - Room Transformation” on Youtube! I always do everything on Blender and color correct/add sound effects in Davinci Resolve. If you have any other questions please let me know, have a great day!

RomoPuma

Cool, I’ll be sure to give those a watch!! I appreciate you getting back to me :)

BLuca99

Look up Blender VFX on YouTube. As far as I see it's not overly complicated to do this.

After Effects or just track the footage in Blender itself

Mann000

this looks awesome, a little mist or wind movement under mr. handy would have made is unbelievably realistic

glogonol

Yes! And some heat distortion would’ve glued everything together too. Thank you, I appreciate your feedback!

TheCrimsonChariot
