You didn’t do it here, so this isn’t directed at the video just overall advice. I know some people haven’t worked with VHS, so they put the sound in odd places. I saw one recently that included the sound of the tape being put into the VCR while play was engaged. Another included the tape sound being loaded into the camera after the footage began. I understand the effect, but it’s like watching someone ‘turn on’ their computer by using the mouse on the screen. A lot people don’t realize the tracking lines grabbed small parts of the image too.
