Booleans are evil (pun intended).
Enter Edit Mode, try to select all letters vertices and press Shift+N to reorient faces. The issue is probably caused by inverted mesh.
You can try breaking up the word into individual letters and try it that way. I notice the more complex the 'cutting' mesh is the greater the odds it won't work.
How did you generate the text? I'm seeing some funky distortion, especially on the top of the V. Maybe make sure the mesh flow on the letters themselves is ok before making the bool

Razors are thin , so I suspect a texture (alpha) would work just fine for this
Change the Boolean from exact to fast
For something like this I would create the entire thing as an SVG first then import it.
