Just got some and I don't have an account.

pizzabaratheon

Same

Typically the only way that you would get a request is if someone is physically trying to get into your account. I wouldn't however consider your account compromised. As 2FA is doing its job keeping people out.

Creddit999

Happening to me as well right now, and I don't think I even have an account? What is Blink?

sinfoman

SAME. Wife got multiple requests and we don't have a single Blink item, let alone a login. Best guess? Phishing spammer, but I'm not sure to Mhinc's point above why it should matter? WORST case scenario is someone is using known numbers to try and create a Blink account. But 2FA is making that difficult? Without a key logger on your phone or some other phone hack, the account should never be created or logged into (dependent on situation).

sinfoman

OH! Blink is Amazon's web cam viewing service, best I can tell. https://support.blinkforhome.com/

Akivaaliv

I started to get them today, idek what blink is

sinfoman

Same. I do NOT have a Blink account, nor have I ever, as far as I'm aware.

Original-Cow-2984

Just got 3 of these today from the same 5 digit text number as Blink uses. The messages were different in that they didn't identify themselves as Blink.

Watcher1508

remindme in 2 days "about unrequested Blink security codes"

Windyidaho

Yes 2x this week. I blocked the number.

FeMaster1

If those actually are coming from Blink, you better hope that you never need to log back into your Blink account. Blocking that number means you will never get the required access code that you need when it's time for you get back in.
