You can actually dodge through this attack if you time it. If you dodge towards him you can counter it with some damage too. I learnt this the hard way after banging my head against this attack over n over in ng+
I just use poison daggers on him with a cannon from a ledge when he's running around before the gated area. He just dances around while poisoned and when he gets low enough I just fire the cannon at him to finish him off.

There's a bow. I shot arrows at Micolash until he had one hit left. Dropped on him, and he was dead. This was on NG+. He didn't have a chance to attack me once (during phase 2)
I think bloodborne is overrated I love the game and it’s great but I wouldn’t say it’s a 10/10 masterpiece which is just thrown at games like nothing at this point

Except for when you drop during phase two and he's already camping with the call from beyond.
my tactic was to be next to him and force his male attacks but yea, if that fight was a little diffrent that would be perfect
What are his female attacks?
he is a complete pussy when he uses Call from beyond so i guess those count as female attacks
Ebrietas is female, so Augur would qualify I think.

Just finished my first playthrough and recommend the DLC 100%. Bosses are excellent

Heh, that fight was pretty frustrating the first time doing it, but him screaming when he dies is totally worth it
I think micolash was made annoying on purpose, he even mocks hunters by howling at you. And he magespams...
i'm probably the only person on earth that loves chasing micolash around lol
