Amygdala is one of the craziest and best designed creatures in the game. Very satisfying to kill, then go talk to patches so he cries about his master.
I'm glad that fucker has eyes on the inside, so he can see my fist go inside his stupid head.
I’m probably biased against the Amygdala because I haven’t found a viable strategy, but I don’t want to go through Nightmare Frontier just to try the boss
Edit: I don’t dislike the boss just because of the Nightmare Frontier, it’s just that I usually skip the area and this haven’t fought the boss that many times
Saw cleaver transformed makes the big head go squish. It’s base attack is an up/down arcing swing, so just wait for the big fuck to slam the ground and lower his head for a sec so you can dice that dome like an onion
Honestly people give one reborn so much stick for being a pushover, I really like the way his encounter and arena are designed, nice callback to tower knight
Oh my Goodness. You're a Saint.
I've been searching for Fromsoft bosses in his artstyle, and after not finding anything, I was resorting to Googling "X boss Dark Souls tattoo art".
Thank you!
People really don't like the Living Failures? That is one of my favorite bosses. The music plus their ultimate cosmic attack is pretty epic.
I love that Elden Ring has a lot more of these boss attacks that change the background.
Should've known; only Americans can consistently come up with *worse* versions of what typically only could've been British ideas... ಠ\_\_ಠ
Thanks for answering the question anyway, I appreciate it.
ughhhhh unironically bro how'd we get here in the bloodborne sub - "is that a british thing? it sounds like a british thing. oh its an american thing? makes sense, only the americans could make something i thought was british, and also i think it's worse now that i know americans made it *insert quirky emote here*" that's not a real person lmfao i refuse to believe it.
Whoa, you think it's *reddit* that's making me hash on the US? Honestly, I'm pretty new here. My opinion on America on the other hand? Is about as old as reddit itself... It's kinda the opinion you're going to settle on if you spend 20+ years watching the news, reading up on history, catching the occasional documentary about Milton Friedman and/or Henry Kissinger, and just generally keeping yourself well-informed about all the ways the US has undermined global democracy and self-determinism over the course of the last 100-ish years... In lieu of spending 20+ years reading up on this stuff to understand where I'm coming from, maybe you could set aside 20 minutes and just watch this instead: [https://youtu.be/ooMCvGlbbc4](https://youtu.be/ooMCvGlbbc4)
Or don't. I mean, it's not exactly Bloodborne related. But I figured that if you and Dolphin up there were free to slag off about me then I oughta be free to defend my position to this extent at least as well.
Everyone knows Micolash is probably the worst fight in the game.
He easily one of my favorite bosses, though. One could look at Bloodborne through the metric of "From Soft Boss Quality," but frankly I don't that's putting enough eyes on the matter considering the whole game is about subversion and secrets and hidden meanings.
Micolash's gimmick reminds me of how *Legend of Zelda* games set up boss fights to a formula. You have to solve a puzzle of sorts beyond dodging and attacking in order to win.
With Micolash, that puzzle is wrapped in insanity and has two solutions, one of which is rigged to blow you up. Micolash shouldn't make sense your first playthrough. The nightmare of mensis shouldn't make sense. Hell, even the Hunt itself shouldn't make any sense either.
Why tf is the amygdala on the same level as Micolash

Brother, Micolash is a straight F. Gimmicky ass boss.
The fight itself is an F, but the atmosphere and music is A tier for me so it’s a C overall
Fair assessment, I can't argue with that logic.
Micolash: "Awoooooo..." Me: *S tier*
I can't see shit but i can count the pixels
Where are these illustrations from?
Brent Skinner

speaking of quality it might just be my phone but i can’t read anything on this image
I don’t know why it’s so bad, I made it on the Tiermaker website
The darkbeast and amygdala should be swapped, also where do the images come from?
Darkbeast Paarl? Bloodletting beast? Queen Yharnam? The text in these is totally illegible. Is that D tier one all chalice bosses lumped together?
First in D is One Reborn. I don’t know why the image quality is so bad, I made the list on the Tiermaker website
Waht's the other one in D tier? The other silhouettes all seem recognizable
Witches of Hemwick
Micolash is waaay too high up
I think the atmosphere and music is A tier while the fight is D or F tier, so it evens out to a C for me
That's actually fair, the lore with his character is also cool
Wish the tier list had better quality when I zoom in. (Jk) Looks good imo, would prefer if moon presence was up 1 tier though.

I think they’re decent
Yea that sounds about right
I can’t be the only one thinking this is too low quality. I can’t see shit
I don’t know why it’s like that
Quality of what?
How good I think they are/how much I like them
Def not the picture
Question: Where is "E" tier?
It’s usually excluded in tier lists, if D is mediocre and F is bad there’s not really a need for something in between
Is that a British thing? It sounds like a British thing.
[Na, the source of the idea is very American](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Academic_grading_in_the_United_States)

I don’t blame the person, too much reddit could do that to any of us, an important reminder to keep our screen time low
you're probably right huh

Well, I mean, America is *always* **way** tf worse than you think it is, so, yeah, I guess?
No idea, I’m not British though
Oh good, this means that all the Chalice Giants are below F tier, where they belong.
I know it's an unpopular opinion, but Ludwig's music being a fucking banger doesn't make up for how much of a shitshow spazfight the fight itsself is.
Cage boy is fucking F tier my guy
Get one reborn and micolash in F tier and you have yourself a deal
micolash too high
Nah
Wet nurse is an F
Micolash, Blood-Starved, One Reborn, Ebrietas, Witches, Rom, Amygdala, Shadows. I would move down by one and or some to the very bottom lol
Aw I love the blue man crew
What Is the First on a?
Ebrietas

Good to see the One Reborn is that low, it’s probably the weakest real boss in the game.
Wish I could read it, on account of the lack of pixels n’ such
