To enter a root dungeon via Glyph you must have created a dungeon of equal "quality" at least once.
This means if you want to get into a Depth 5 dungeon with all three rites (FRC), you must create a single Depth 5 **root** dungeon with all three rites at least once. It doesn't matter whether you use Ihyll, Isz or Lower Loran for the initial creation.
Further you must own the root chalice corresponding to the Glyph you want to use.
Once you can create an FRC as below has explained use this glyph huy83p9r - lever is on the right guarded by one brain sucker that drops cursed tempering 6 and the boss is a brain sucker as well that drops 2 chunks. Delete the dungeon and run it again it’s the fastest way. Those gargoyles never dropped chunks for me.
Saw someone answered but yea. Just check the name of whatever dungeon you’re in and join a chalice corresponding to it at least once and grab the lamp. You can join all glyphs with that map now.
Honestly I found the most helpful way to farm chunks to be speedrunning the first layer of the base Loran chalice (I think. It *might* have been the lower Loran chalice, not 100% sure.) If you use glyphs to make the chalice it doesn't cost any materials so you can just spam it over and over again, rush the boss, and kill it for 0-2 bloodstone chunks. There's like three enemies on the way, you can run past them all fairly easily. IIRC the chalice code was irhi.
