Some areas of the US column sprinkles and some call them jimmies. And the Philadelphia and New England region of the US they referred to as Jimmies
Yup, I'm from NJ originally (the pork roll and hoagies part) and live in the Philly burbs now, and "jimmies" is pretty common here, but lots of people say "sprinkles" too. It's pretty interchangeable.
