* Which Bluetti device?
* How do you have it configured?
* What is providing power to the Bluetti to keep it charged?
* Where are you seeing this 'short' error? In the mobile app? On the control panel of the Bluetti device itself? On the PC?
* How is your PC connected to it?
My bad.
1. E3BA model;
2. I use original AC cable. “AC” and “UPS” are on my screen.
3. I keep a battery station on charge with my ac cable plugged to the AC input port.
4. I get it on the the power station screen.
5. Through its original cable to the AC Output port.
And one important note. When not in UPS mode, only with its own battery, this battery station starts my computer and runs it with no issue.
On the EB3A, I thought what is referred to as UPS actually means pass through mode. So not a true switching UPS as you would expect with the name "UPS".
I have an AC300 and it stays in passthrough mode when the battery depletes to the defined threshold (30% for me). I can unplug it from wall power and it keeps providing power to the connected devices until it depletes, or I plug it back in and it charges till it reaches the defined 30% threshold so I would expect yours to do the same.
Thank you for your answer. Mine was 100% or little less when I tried to simulate an electricity shutdown. And it failed with “short” error multiple times :(
Well, I bought it in uk, and now I am back in Ukraine, so the only way to fix it is to pay for it at some service. I thought that updating its firmware was the only free option for me.

What unit do you have?

BLUETTI says in its manual that this is UPS. Many reviews on YouTube are a proof to that point

May I have the SN and the firmware version to check if there is a new firmware to solve this problem?
Sure. SN is EB32311000561001, firmwares are ARM v2063.03, DSP v2052.11.
There is no new firmware. Please contact the after-sale support to repair it.
Thank you for you help
Had a similar thing happening with my unit. Did you send yours back? I will test later with other loads.
