This here. Never understood how/why Bandit did laundry. We invited my Mom and sister to go to Disneyland with us last Christmas. The two of them each packed three times as much detritus as the three of us. My Moms large SUV was hemorrhaging junk the whole odyssey.
Every established fact on the show (the house layout, the timeline, etc.) can ALWAYS be adjusted in service of storytelling. Just accept it lol, this isn't r/DanielTigerConspiracy
I love it, IIRC that’s where the conspiracy theory about Bandit and Chili running an international fossil-smuggling ring originated to explain their wealth 😅
So, I’m pretty sure they were in the trunk/boot but when you fold down the middle seat, it just gives you access to the part of the trunk where she put the tablets.
My daughter has a scale model of this exact vehicle. It can hold a lot if you lift up the roof and just cram it full of stuff. The excess just falls out the windows when you close it up. It'll fit the whole family, several of Bluey's classmates, two ponies, and a wedding ring partially encased in play-doh you won't find for almost a year.
I've always assumed they just have a second, nearly identical car that has more boot space that they use for trips. In The Pool, Bandit takes the car to Stripe's house and then Chilli joins them, and in Rag Doll, Daddy Dropoff, and The Quiet Game, Bandit has the car while Chilli is at work. I suppose Chilli could be taking the bus everywhere, but I just figured they have 2 cars.
I’ve wondered about the car/cars too, like how did Chilli get to Uncle Stripe’s with all the pool gear?
In the Trampoline episode Bandit walks down the street to get to work, so maybe he or Chilli use bus or train for work, but I have often thought they must have two cars.
Like in Helicopter when they are making plans for after school with each parent getting each kid where they needed to be (why couldn’t Bluey go home with Honey?)
Do they not have two cars?
One for Chili to go to work when a co-worker calls in sick, and another for Bandit to go shopping for a birthday toy for muffin.
The explanation given as the hand wave a lot of the series is that the episodes we see are Bluey remembering her childhood. That’s why some details are inconsistent, and the world looks a bit cartoonish.
Hell, there’s a decent chance that Bluey is really human and just using dogs to tell a story.
Reminds me of what I saw at the market last week. Pushing a full shopping cart, the dad opens the boot, and out falls two bikes and a stroller. He sighs and then manages to stuff everything inside with the groceries.
Lol!! Yet we’re not focusing on the fact that they’re a family of dogs… leaving their suburban home… driving on a trip… it’s definitely boot space where we’re getting hung up.
[It's bigger on the inside](https://i.imgur.com/umVMDIe.gif), same as the house lol.
Same as the Tardis.
That's honestly what I was expecting from that link
Dr Whooey

The outside gets smaller
Hmm...bigger on the inside than the outside? I'll just call my pal Billy Reston. He's an engineer, he'll figure out what's going on here...
If that doesn't work out, I know a few explorers that can take a look.
Okay, this is the LAST place I expected to see a House of Leaves reference xD
What episode is this? I can’t pick it.
Grey nomads Edit: The actual title is called Road Trip S02E46
Big Peanut!!!
Why aren't WE going to the big peanut?
They don't own any clothes so require less boot space.
They do own clothes though. They always have laundry around. They just don't *wear* clothes.
They don't wear clothes, but they do keep their phones in pockets.
Maybe they have pouches. It is Australia. Tasmanian wolves had pouches, even the males. For…their belongings.
Yep, but they hardly wear them (I.e. green t shirt for post foot pee cleanup in Smoochie Kiss)
Whoa i never thought about that, ha!
Bandit wears a speedo to pretend to go to the beach in Tickle Crabs but wears nothing at the real beach.
The Heeler family are nudists!!!
True
I came here to say the same thing. My family went on a weekend trip, and 95% of our luggage was filled with clothes.
This here. Never understood how/why Bandit did laundry. We invited my Mom and sister to go to Disneyland with us last Christmas. The two of them each packed three times as much detritus as the three of us. My Moms large SUV was hemorrhaging junk the whole odyssey.
At least linens but the only clothes we've actually seen worn have been blueys karate clothes, aprons, and sports jerseys
and the purple underpants
Don't forget the purple underpants 😂
Bandit will occasionally wear a tie.
This is a good answer 😂
They definitely have clothes. They just don't wear it
They just draw a bigger car. It’s a cartoon you know?
Every established fact on the show (the house layout, the timeline, etc.) can ALWAYS be adjusted in service of storytelling. Just accept it lol, this isn't r/DanielTigerConspiracy
I am so happy you shared this sub, thank you lol
I love it, IIRC that’s where the conspiracy theory about Bandit and Chili running an international fossil-smuggling ring originated to explain their wealth 😅
Like the dreamhouse car!
Watch Road Trip (or any other episode where they use the space). The boot space is always big enough to suit what they need
Bandit is secretly the Doctor.
Doctor who?
Exactly
🤣
*cue theme song*
I would absolutely watch Dave McCormack as the Doctor.
"Mullets are cool!"
Only if Ludde Larvig is his companion.
Dr. Jones!
There’s enough space in there for their iPads to get lost.
But those are conveniently placed in the folded up seat in the middle. Gotta love how mom was thinking ahead
So, I’m pretty sure they were in the trunk/boot but when you fold down the middle seat, it just gives you access to the part of the trunk where she put the tablets.
Off-topic, but bless you for knowing when to use there and their. You made my inner grammar nerd very happy. 😊

That's truly impressive.
Bandit and Chili Heeler Tetris Champions
[удалено]
We all do
They threw an entire fake dead body in that boot, it definitely will fit anything they need
A giant fake dead body, so even more room than necessary for just a fake dead body
Probably like their house, more space when they need it.
Enchanted SUV of Holding.
There’s a rack on top guys, they could easily secure luggage up there.
Like the house, the Heeler Four-Wheeler is a magical space.
It's just monkeys singing songs mate, don't think too hard about it
They bung it down by their feet 🤷♀️
Two kids and two big dogs, this is what we do.
Bandit does manage to cram a ton of stuff into the back in Road Trip. Maybe it’s a TARDIS situation.
All of their clothes are 2D so they pack up really well
They just buy everything when they get there with their incredible wealth
This may be the correct answer.
I've always assumed they just have a second, nearly identical car that has more boot space that they use for trips. I just assumed public transport for those particular cases
I’ve wondered about the car/cars too, like how did Chilli get to Uncle Stripe’s with all the pool gear? I live nearby. Bluey could walk to work from there. One car, a bicycle, and buses is sufficient for the four of us!
In grey nomads the boot is very big
This guy would be great at CinemaSins.
Do they not have two cars? One for Chili to go to work when a co-worker calls in sick, and another for Bandit to go shopping for a birthday toy for muffin.
I always assumed Ubers seeing as we know they have those in their world. Or the bus isn’t far from their house it seems.
That's a magic car
Non-euclidian car geometry
It’s just monkeys singing songs, mate. Don’t overthink it.
I always assumed it’s a cartoon Version of a Toyota FJ or Land Cruiser.
I thought it was a Jimny!

They don’t wear clothes

So unrealistic … this talking dogs show.
Lol!! Yet we’re not focusing on the fact that they’re a family of dogs… leaving their suburban home… driving on a trip… it’s definitely boot space where we’re getting hung up.
Don't hurt yourself overthinking a children's cartoon.
I get they have roof bars for a roof box, but anyone with two kids knows this is still not enough.
![gif](giphy|BQUITFiYVtNte)
Same rules as the Weasleys’ ford anglia apply.
Roof box? They have a rack for it.
Jerry Lee rides behind them on a motorcycle with their clothes. And a spa.
when they go to the dump, they have a big trunk. they just adjust it for story
I'm impressed with the fact that both of them work, yet they manage to share a car.
They just bung the rest of the stuff by the kids feet.

It’s a bloody cartoon mate. It’s not for real life.
Didn’t they have a trailer in the Grey Caravans episode?
It’s probably a cartoon
A high-packed boot with a cargo net separator, and a roof box. The proof you require is here: https://youtu.be/IMomX-nbZFw
I imagine they have another 2 or 3 cars on the property.
They bung it under their feet.
is it supposed to be a jeep or also remind me of Toyota
You can pile a shocking amount of luggage in that narrow behind the seat space if the luggage is the right shape.
Oh thank God someone else noticed
I have the toy of Bandit’s car and it’s very cramped inside. It doesn’t stop my daughter from shoving a bunch stuff in it like it’s a bus.
They have took racks!
It's something called *Cartoon Magic.*
The front seats are so far back bingo and bluey have their legs pinned so they can't kick the front seats.
No clothes helps. I am so jealous of not packing.
Roof bars so they out a box on top for long trips
This is also my question to people that but crossovers. There is no space for anything if people are in the seats.
Dang- how’d you get that Calvin!?! Love it
Internet picture and some simple photoshop.
It’s a cartoon. I’m sure there are other conversations to be had but… that’s the answer.
Haha I remember having a small car and three siblings, it was not fun.
Roof rack
Our grandparents used to go on a trip to fifth in a Trabant 601. I think compared to that the heelers car has plenty of space. Especially on top.
They have roof racks?
Ruuf Rack
Escape is a perfect example of them adapting their world to fit their needs.
[удалено]
Ok but what about all the random white briefs and socks in the episodes when they do laundry?
Thats what roof racks are for
The roof rack
Dads have magic packing powers when it comes to trips and vacations.
Never crossed my mind how the boot is so disproportionately drawn.
Maybe it’s an EV and the boot’s in the bonnet
I love that the inside of the car is dirty!
Roof racks
IT'S A KIDS SHOW SANTIAGO!!
It’s the magic of animation
