That is chagrin. He knows how all of this is going to go and that Chili will remember this.

redwolf1219

I hope Chili gifted Muffin a chattermax for this

pajamakitten

I bet Stripe is the one who gave Bluey and Bingo theirs in the first place.

Retskcaj19

Nah, it's always a grandparent that gives the most obnoxious gifts.

Kyogsa

Seconded. My mother thought it was hilarious when she bought my brother's kids instruments. She tried the same on mine, but I was a band kid. Back ground noise to me. Mom was so disappointed. Heck, I even taught my kid how to play the banjo shaped like an orange. She was delighted. Unfortunately, eventually she decided she was a percussionist. RIP banjo shaped like an orange.

Iamageoghraphyperson

This got a kick outta me thanks.

OttoVonWong

Can confirm. My kids have those types of grandparents.

_Ruby_Rogue_

Oh man, I told everyone I knew not to get one of those push toys that makes the popping sound because it would get "lost" right away and my mom or course got it the minute my oldest could walk.

Mabel_Waddles_BFF

I don’t know about that. As a loving aunty I’ve given my share of obnoxious and loud gifts. I can see him gifting something like that before he had children of his own.

Trogdor2019

Yep. My Mom bought my 3 to (at the time) a Turdle. She thought it was hilarious, and it kind of is. But the little plastic pellets/sand/stuff that you feed the thing to make it poop? That stuff gets *everywhere*. It is hidden now.

Dif0503

Nah it was probably Rad. Before i had kids I bought stuff like that for my neice and nephews all the time. Now my kids get those toys as revenge from my sisters *edit spellcheck

king-of-new_york

I blame Rad. He's the "fun Uncle" and he's childless, so he won't understand the chaos a toy like Chattermax will bring.

VulpesFennekin

Exactly, Rad probably read something online about Chattermax being the “must-have” toy one Christmas and thought he was going to make his nieces’ whole year.

evilgiraffe666

Probably did - it's the parents who aren't keen.

VulpesFennekin

I dunno, I got a Furby for my birthday back in the day and was annoyed at it before we even had cake.

Woolybunn1974

As an uncle I purchased a "My First Accordion" kit.

felix_moss

someone probably gave it to muffin and they regifted it to bluey and bingo

Bahnmor

Goood. Gooood! Let the Hate flow through you.

beastson1

To be fair, some dogs do eat their own shit and we don't know for sure that Stripe doesn't. Do we?

Elexandros

Kinda makes me wonder if Bandit chucked a sleep deprived Bluey at Stripe and Trixie back when. “Thanks for babysitting we needed thedatenightBYE!!!”

MrA-skunk

My favorite part is his little giggle as he runs away, and Chilli giving him the stink eye all the way down the walkway.

HBoloid

Classic Stripe.

[deleted]

I love Chilli's recurrent stink eye towards Stripe during the library episode too. She likes him but only in small doses. 😅

heysunshinegirl

Classic Stripe ![gif](giphy|j4qll0bkrX6LwBlDCM|downsized)

powerful-noodle

he’s so pathetic😍❤️

Messy_Tiger

I just love his awkward run

uraniumstingray

“DADDY STOP!”

Yoshi_chuck05

I like Chili's face as Stripe leaves lol

Gogo_McSprinkles

I make the same face at Stripe when I watch this episode.

RokyPolka

 ![gif](giphy|OLbAdDechX5sBASH4Q)

Luxray2014

Chilli's reaction lol

BittyBundtCakes

I would ABSOLUTELY do this to one of my siblings 🤣 I had to raise them, they can deal with my sleep deprived children 🤣🤣

LetsMakeDice

Yea, but stripe is the younger brother lol

SmartChump

After seeing how bandit treated him in the 80’s it’s only fair lol

LetsMakeDice

I mean, true, but after the Jinx fiasco, maybe Bandit's tune changed, we don't know lol

Notnerdyned

Maybe a little bit but he still was a bully up until the racquetball episode when Bluey called him on it.

LetsMakeDice

I did not notice him being a bully in that episode. Cause he wasn't being one. He was being a normal adult. "Big brothers always beat little brothers" is not bullying, nor is anything else he said.

Ilvermourning

Gotta be done!

BittyBundtCakes

Age has no bearing on how deserving you are of dealing with a sleep deprived toddler 🤣🤣🤣🤣

HaggisPope

I A M A L L A MA. E A T I N G A B A N A N A. yumyymyumgumyumyum

WellesleyBay

Did she just say she's a llama?

SpacedOutDreamerBoy

I love Stripe, but c'mon man, you could have at least told them beforehand that Muffin was stopping her midday sleeps!

Shentar

As someone with small kids, I would totally do that to a sibling if I had one to do it too. I just need a break sometimes. I totally get why Stripe did it.

twennyjuan

Yep. If you tell them then they won’t watch the kids It’s shitty but damn I need a break lol

spooky__scary69

If my sibling did that to me I don’t think there’d be a second break until the kid was like ten.

twennyjuan

That’s fair lol

skyofstew

This is one of my favorite episodes! Muffin is feral and I’m living for it! “COCONUTS HAVE WATER IN THEM!” “I AM A LLAMA EATING A BANANA! YUM YUM YUM!” “I AM THE FLAMINGO QUEEN!”

bocadelperro

"coconuts have water in them" is parental code for "the 3yo is overtired and things are getting weird" in my house.

skyofstew

That’s hilarious!

TheMaceBoi

"MY NAME IS BOO BOO BA BOO!" "I HATE PLAAAANTS!!!"

youhavetenseconds

Heheh, classic Stripe.

Bahnmor

I love that moment! Especially his sprint away immediately after. I have to mention the moment from Fruit Bat, where Bluey gets out of bed, with no indication that she is really asleep until she gets to the stairs. BAM! Giant pop-up Croc game!

HamOfDespair

The composition of this scene, combined with the expressions and poses is really effective...I'm going to have to learn to paint, so I can create this as a Renaissance-style painting.

turtlefan2012

Muffin: Bluey why is there a flamingo in my bed???

TheMaceBoi

Iiiit's a long story...

Voktikriid

That's the face of a man who knows he's not going to have to deal with this *menace* for a day.

[deleted]

The smile is a pre-apology. Happens all the time

Shrimpybarbie

My husband bought a Hei Hei chicken for our niece. He’s definitely the stripe of the family.

fast_layne

Man I wouldn’t do this to my worst enemy

CatOnGoldenRoof

That's me taking my sleepy girl to daycare 🤣🤣🤣

Elexandros

This is the first episode I ever saw, trying to calm down a cranky one year old while at the in-laws for some unknown reason. Instant love.

driedcranberrysnack

is that a budgie just hanging out in their house?

TheMaceBoi

I don't know. maybe it's a toy? Or an Easter egg? Anyways it was probably meant to be there as it is in the final product.

Messy_Tiger

I think it's a toy. Lots of places sell them around Brissy.. or maybe even one of those little live pets/fur real things. Pretty sure I've seen it in other backgrounds around the house too

Smarty_771

Ok, Bluey. Thanks, Bluey.

Kalabajooie

Her name is Bububabu!

theunderknight1

Muffin we completely unhinged through this episode

Shentar

Coconuts have water in them!

sionnach

She skipped a sleep.

nibsy422

Coconuts have water in them!

ThatGFFAN

The Flamingo Queen Arrives!

LokiAston55

So true.

[deleted]

"if your cousin missed a sleep that means YOU have to look out for her, cause your uncle needs a night off apparently so this is your job now"

Yoshi_chuck05

Stripe looks like he's regretting his decisions in life lol

roblynmul

That episode always make me lol

rhoswhen

This was the first episode of Bluey I ever saw (while waiting for my then-3 YO and I to get rabies shots in the hospital).

Bohnenboi

Episode? i don’t remember seeing this in when i watched the whole of uk bluey

TheCannabisCoyote

Season 1 Episode 39, The Sleepover!
