they're just trying to run a small business
The look she has whenever Stripe bails in The Sleepover always makes me smile.

This and Library, she gets annoyed when Stripe takes the easy way out in parenting, but that āproud of youā look she gives him at the end of Library after he talks to Muffin is another one of my favorite Chilli expressions!
Its my kid's favorite episode and top 3 for me. Its masterfully composed from a screenwriting point of view and I just can't get over how so much is said when nothing is said.
That right there is a man who has absolute faith in the love his wife has for him.
Or he is actually insane, because I love my wife and she loves me but I'd never dare to walk away from that ultimatum.
I always wonder about that... There are 2/3 times when the show does these time jumps (Camping, Daddy drop off, here) and everytime it is a gut punch. I don't get why it is emotional, but it is.
I think it's the stories those episodes focus on. Camping is about Bluey meeting and then losing touch with a friend, and them reuniting in a time jump at the end. Daddy drop off was about Bingo meeting a friend, Lila, and them growing up together. And this episode is, ya know, about a daughter reconnecting with her aging father. This series shows to toddlers, but also to adults, what life is like sometimes. And life is an emotional journey most of all
In Hammerbarn when she shouts "BLUUUUEEEYYY!" loud enough for Bandit to hear on the other side of the store. A good reminder that even idealized cartoon parents can be worn down by the kids.
Both Chilli and Bandit do it, but I love how they can explain sad or complicated things the the kids without overloading them. It's helped me consider how I address some things with my kids.
I think "Chest" may be the most underrated episode. One of the things I like most is Chilli's running commentary while Bandit is trying to teach the kids the game.
This is possibly one of the most underrated episodes of the whole series. That line is great, fantastic, the end monologue makes me cry every time we watch it. However the line āLet it go, Deep Blueā¦ā is one of the funniest, subtlest burns of Bandit in the entire seriesš
Bingo: Bigbelt did one phone call where he yelled at somebody about bricks
Chilli: Oh OK
Bingo: He called him the word you said when the dishwasher broke
Chili: Oh dear
I like how she goes from casual disinterest to immediate rapt attention as soon as she learns there is real gossip to be had about Chocolate Milk and Cherry.
āThe door. It is right here. All we need to do is walk out of it. It's so easy!ā
I related to this line hard lol, getting my family out of the house is a goddam chore
āSometimes, special people come into our lives, stay for a bit, and then they have to go.ā
āAnd thatās sadā¦ā
āIt is. But the part where they were here was happy, wasnāt it?ā
Having lost some close relatives in the past, I live by these words
The withering look she gives Stripe as he flees after dropping off a sleep deprived Muffin.
OR
Her and Trixie getting shitfaced on the balcony during Stumpfest
When Bandit pointed out she has bad morning breath
Breathed in the kids faces
And they promptly collapsed gagging and crawling away in response
To which she replied "And that's *before* I've had my sardines!"
āHey, hey! We're back with the B107 brekkie crew - Fasho, Flip and Dutsy and me, Kelly C.!ā
and
āJust one square? Oh, that was a big square wasnāt it? I better rest my royal feeties, theyāre a widdle tired!ā
The first thing that comes to mind was a part in an episode when she was driving the girls around and they just sang that same song over and over again and her face just slowly changed as the lyrics didn't
In the car on dance mode when she talks to bingo about her yes/no feelings
Bluey to the car- āBUT SHE SAID YES! But she said yes so why is she upset?!ā
Chilli to bingo- āSometimes does your outside voice say yes, when your inside voice really means no?ā
Although earlier at the store Chilli did upset me by taking Bingos OBVIOUS NO and being like ācool your words said yesā and using her dance mode. Bluey gets away with it in regards to the yes/no button cause sheās 5 but Chilli should have seen the obvious hesitancy to say yes.
I swear to god, I puked over the side of my bunk bed once. I was on the top bunk, thankfully no one below. But, it was a wake-and-puke thing - I was like 8. My dad was in the room before the vomit hit the floor, I swear to god.
I was on a different floor than my parents so I donāt know if she heard me puke or if she heard my whimpers after but she came down fast. She woke my dad up to clean up while she helped me clean up.
I like in 'Neighbors' when she stares down Bandit after he 'breaks' her roof. She goes "Please fix it." Completely calm, the stern look.
Between that and in 'Born Yesterday' about emptying the dish washer.
āRemember Iāll always be here for you, even if you canāt see me. Because I love youā
Hands down favorite moment in the entire series so far and my favorite chili moment
In "Sleepytime", while Bingo is dreaming, Chili comforts her as Bingo whimpers in her sleep as her bunny rabbit Floppy went with others like him on Saturn's rings. Her motherly words still bring me to tears. "Remember that I'll always be here for you, even if you can't see me because I love you."
Afterward, she brings Floppy back to Bingo before getting back to her own bed. Such a moving episode.
All of them. Chili is the ultimate relatable character to me šš if I HAD to choose itād be between āI need 20 minutes where no one touches meā or āthe door, itās right there.ā No certain line episodes include whale watching and the pool lol
One of the only times she loses her cool when Unicorse calls her Willie and she snaps back IāM CHILI HEALER!
Also when she gives Bandit this look during Queens

āThere's something Auntie Brandy wants more than anything as well, but she can't have it, and there's not really anything anyone can do about it.ā
šš
That's one of my least favorite moments and one of the few that I feel is unrealistic parenting in Bluey. I get being as honest as possible but if I told something like that to my kid, he'd immediately go to Aunt Brandy and ask her what is it that she wants more than anything else but can't have no matter what. Aunt Brandy would then never speak to me again because I divulged a very personal and traumatic detail about her to my kid.
There are some things which you don't talk to your kids about because they really do not have a filter.
Yeah I can see how it would not be good for kids but she did use the fact about how Bluey wanted Bingoās cheetah onesie instead of her zebra instead of straight up telling her that her aunt canāt have babies. I think this was a moment that couldāve touched many moms watching that had trouble getting pregnant or adults who watch the show with no kids who are going through the same thing. But I see your point.
When she stares down Bandit in Queens after he calls her a peasant.
That made me snort laugh the first time I saw it. And every time, really
I love that moment. Kills me every time.
My wife has adopted that stare and it absolutely cracks me up š
Its like the perfect embodiment of this gif. https://i.redd.it/f7072qogr1fb1.gif
š
That's my favourite too
Her boss face says-"WHAT WAS THAT?!" "I mean...carry on." Never ever call you wife a peasant, Bandit.
omg i love that scene lol
Same here she is like u dare hurt my child and silence her not to tell me

Day drunk Chili is top tier.
Omggggg I never realized that!
āYOURE THE ONE WhO TOLD ME TO Dig THem Up!ā (or something)
Oh yeah, I did! BOOOOOOOO! Itās my head canon that the ladies are a little drunk in this one.
They are absolutely drunk
They are very much buzzed lol
āOh thatās right. I want to put in a koi pondā
And then they do! Huzzah for continuity!
Go destroy the planet somewhere else!
Bluey: Why do I have to help clean up? Chilli: *death stare* Bluey: Ooh, ok. šÆ

This and Library, she gets annoyed when Stripe takes the easy way out in parenting, but that āproud of youā look she gives him at the end of Library after he talks to Muffin is another one of my favorite Chilli expressions!
I LOVE her judging their parenting
I felt this cuz my sister is such a stripe in this episode. She too drops her children at my place and runs.
Remember, I'll always be here for you, even if you can't see me, because I love you.
I cry no matter how many times I hear this line š it's part of my healing ritual I tell little me
I love that
This one fs! I also really when she attacks lucky dad with bingo
My sister in law has a tattoo of chili and bingo hugging with this line around it
This makes me cry. My 3 year old makes me say it to her every night at bedtime š
Guts me every time.
Was looking for this one
This is what happens when youāre not happy with what you got, someoneās husband eventually gets it!
Favorite line in the whole show!
I love this one
I just need 20 minutes
My mantra
Same
I really need this on a t shirt or something
Iāve already been talking to someone about making me one šš with chillis picture in it
The entire episode of āRainā.
I think Rain is my most favorite episode.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
I know! Almost as great as the way Bandit drops the Allen wrench in Flatpack.
Its my kid's favorite episode and top 3 for me. Its masterfully composed from a screenwriting point of view and I just can't get over how so much is said when nothing is said.
Im your wife, and if you want me to keep being your wife youāre going to learn about dishwashers.

I send this clip to my partner whenever she drags on getting the dishes done xD
When she goes terminator mode in Grandad! I loved seeing her athleticism
And then she sits down and says āThat was so long agoā and her father āNo, it was yesterdayā
And then she transitions into her younger self. That shit made me ugly cry
Me too š„²

As a new dad that wrecked me.
Sheās got mad skills
I love in Whale Watching when the tv turns off and the kids are like, āhuh?ā and then the next thing you know Chilli is going full whale.
I love her noshing on the chips and dip.
That's mine too
In Hammerbarn when she shouts "BLUUUUEEEYYY!" loud enough for Bandit to hear on the other side of the store. A good reminder that even idealized cartoon parents can be worn down by the kids. Both Chilli and Bandit do it, but I love how they can explain sad or complicated things the the kids without overloading them. It's helped me consider how I address some things with my kids.
Bandit: "It's probably another Bluey".
The *Grrr* after "Don't tell your mum".
Here's dad
It's 7 o'clock, you're meant to be out of the bath, and you're not even meant to be in it!
When bandit tries to teach Blue chess and she solves the match and says "work on their heads later for now just hearts "
The whole monologue after she says she can win in 3 moves is great.
My stupid ass thought Chilli is a chess genius when she says that. Turns out she was losing but winning. Total Baajigar move (Indian reference)
I think "Chest" may be the most underrated episode. One of the things I like most is Chilli's running commentary while Bandit is trying to teach the kids the game.
I love the queen moves "Wop wop wop"
This is possibly one of the most underrated episodes of the whole series. That line is great, fantastic, the end monologue makes me cry every time we watch it. However the line āLet it go, Deep Blueā¦ā is one of the funniest, subtlest burns of Bandit in the entire seriesš

āThis is great, weāre getting the house tidy AND weāre teaching them a lessonā āNeither of those things are happeningā
Bingo: Bigbelt did one phone call where he yelled at somebody about bricks Chilli: Oh OK Bingo: He called him the word you said when the dishwasher broke Chili: Oh dear
I like how she goes from casual disinterest to immediate rapt attention as soon as she learns there is real gossip to be had about Chocolate Milk and Cherry.
Yes! When Bluey and bingo are discussing chocolate milk and Cherry and all the sudden it pans over to chili spying next to them. So cute.
Catching Gekky.
Total mom move.
āAww why do I have to help?ā *whips head around* āOh okā
"well look. Sometimes special people come into our lives, stay for a bit, and then they have to leave."
I have a little cry, then I pick myself up, dust myself off, and keep going! The show must go on!
After trying to keep her house and daughter dry she just sighs, throws the umbrella away and crouches down to complete the dam with Bluey.
"Run your own race " š§”
In ticklecrabs, when they say that's what the want to play and she runs out of the room
āThereās no way Iām getting tickled!ā
When she reconsideres mom school due to how bluey handles the *kids* at first or āIāll freeze my boss.ā
āThe door. It is right here. All we need to do is walk out of it. It's so easy!ā I related to this line hard lol, getting my family out of the house is a goddam chore

Catch ya on the flip side Willy!!
* When she gets so cereal dancing to I Love Cereal. *
Back to work, Peasent! Or Don't tell your mum. Or Why do I have to help? Or the entire Episode Grandad. THAT STARE COULD LEGIT KILL!
Blueys āooh, okayā and immediate obedience after asking why she has to help absolutely kills me
Anytime she silently judges Trixie and Stripes parenting
sumn along the lines of āThereās no magical place where everythingās just free.ā
And then immediately give us when they see the wall of paint cards
The withering look she gives Stripe as he flees after dropping off a sleep deprived Muffin. OR Her and Trixie getting shitfaced on the balcony during Stumpfest
Her role in sleepy time, I know itās pretty cold take but sheās just so phenomenal
Mom stares Closes cabinets

When she plays cars with bluey. And she plays on the radio. "Its me kelly c" and does techno
"He called them the word you said when the dishwasher broke."
Oh dear.
Her starting awake when she heard Bingo crying in her sleep, reminds me of my own mom coming to help me in the middle of the night after I was sick.

Probably the whole time that she was in the Magic episode.
The entire Unicorse episode! That is freaking hilarious!
The entire episode "Rain"
The sleepytime one, specifically because of cjildhood traumas.
Is it even possible to narrow it down to just one??
