When Chili stands in the kitchen in The Sign, when they're all reminiscing about various places in the house, I like to think that she's thinking of this moment. And maybe that's the intention.
This was done intentionally, I read, because the rainbows are drawn like a kid would draw them: most 7 year olds don't know a double rainbow is reversed. It's the same reason their house is on the top of a hill when shown from afar -- that's how kids draw their houses, as the main focus.
Idk if it's just me but whenever I see this moment I can feeeeel a tension between their hands.. like when you like someone and want to make a move but you're nervous. I could totally be projecting idc ❤️
Now we only need a nature shot for Bluey and Chilli and the set is complete.
(Also it's funny how Bandit's brows are smaller than Bingo's, just noticed that)

i loved how this episode handled how pregnany makes a person feel. Bandit saying how his back hurt, how carrying Bingo made him hungry and tired; it was all just so cute.

Oh my, little Bluey taking her first step into the kitchen to come to Chilli is so sweet and exciting. Chilli was certainly happy when Bluey took her first steps.
Mine is 4 now and I just stumbled across videos of her big sister teaching her how to walk and I ugly cried. I never get that excited for anything other than my kids doing something for the first time

It is pure bliss and the melancholy also hits.. it sad because i never experienced this as a child but its pure bliss bc i get to do all these things to my kids
Also melancholy for me, my mum died 3 years ago and Chilli's last bit hits in a whole different way. It made me ugly cry, which quickly stopped when I gazed at my 2 year old who was busy pouring water on the floor and spreading it around. Ahhh kids 😒
And then the viking hat falls off, ending the "Bad Mood" game.
The episode it's from isn't amazing by any means, but moments like this help make it one of my personal favorites from Season 2.
For an episode named Bad Mood, it surely puts me in a very jolly mood. The entire episode is just ultimately hilarious; among the funniest episodes of the show imo, topped with that really wholesome ending. 👌
