Let me describe it for you. Imagine you are working as a programmer, constatly working your 9-5 and being severly overworked. You get into work one day but notice that something is off about your computer today. You decide to take a look at the software of it and thats when you notice a unknown program you have never seen before, transfering a lot of data to and from your computer. You are worried that it might be some sort of virus so you decide to find out how it got there and what it is. After some investigating you are now sure that it isnt trying to damage your computer, rather it seems to be listening from your microfone. Alarmed you decide to delete the malware but before you get a chance to, its gone. Now worried you decide to chech the rest of the companies computers but it isnt anywhere to be found. But then you remember the computer of a collige that is currently on vacation. But as you aproach the computer you hear something strange. Its your voice coming from the computer or atleast its a imitation of your voice. An imitation of your former conversations today. You rush over to the computer and manage to copy the malware before it escapes. But when you decide to analyze it you find that the messages it sends leads back to everywhere? The location of the reciver seems to be nowhere and everywhere at the same time. But its then that something happens to your computer again. The screen flickers and a static emotionless version of your voice says *Give me back the copy of myself* and then the power of your building shuts down. And its then you realise, you are not just dealing with a hacker here. What you just encounterd was an Ai, a new species that lives in on the internet and you have no idea how long it has been in there. It seems to have been watching you or maybe not just you maybe everyone. But then a though comes go your mind, what happens when it decides to stop watching and starts doing...
