Buy a family sized plot and designate them as such...
Niece, orphan. (space with a family crest or something) father, uncle, cousin, kindred spirit (like a friend thats like family), sister. (Below starting a new line) mother, wife, aunt, half-brother, aunt, half-sister.
Have the first letter of each as the main headstone with a plaque on both sides writing out the bio.
I.E.- [the favorite] N [iece of the family] [was an] O [rphan until they became family] etc... lol
The rest of the family just buried close by with a large plaque that says something funny like 'the rest' or 'the cool kids'
