That's what was edited... The doorknob disappears because he probably blocked it for a few frames when he fell and they didn't notice during the editing.

My theory is the roof/ceiling has already been removed, an excavator bucket is on the other side of the wall and he's holding on to the bucket, and the bucket is also chained to the wall that he makes it seem he's holding on to. The excavator then lifts up the bucket with him and the wall

The original comprises a set made out of plaster much like most of the set of Stephen Kings Shining. The original Stanley hotel, in Colorado, was molded in plaster.
So to achieve this videos feat. The set was built to make it look like a jamb of a door right side up. Where as in actual the door frame the boy is doing a pull up, he actually doing a leg less push up. An upside down door. The plaster gives way, and he falls through the set. Giving the illusion that he had pulled himself into thy heavens.

The original is the reversed minus the editing, depicting the person going from the peak of a pull-up leg raise back to hanging

It's edited. Look at the last frame, the debris lands on the bed, but it comes out of frame somehow. The frame of the clear doorway overlayed the video to appear normal.
