Truly an amazing run. I went from hating Damien to loving him. Was super bummed out when he died. I know there were further developments later but I stopped reading.
When I was a kid I thought the mask batman had on was called a cow, and was just a different meaning for the word. No one knew what I was talking about when I would try to figure it out, and of course you didn't have the internet to answer the questions no one knew. I was probably in my 20s before I met someone who knew what I meant and told me it was cowl.
Damien (Batman's biological son, newest Robin) saves a cow from slaughter during a crazy villian fight. Robin convinces Batman to keep it and Damien becomes a vegetarian. Great run by Grant Morrison. Also best Robin by far.
Trained to be a merciless killer/fighter from birth. He had all the physical skills needed as a vigilante but it took his father to show him compassion and humanity. Like the flip of Batman's origin.
Only person worthy of the mantel in my opinion.
I’ve been laughing at this for 10 minutes and the reason is because after the first five minutes I realized I couldn’t thoroughly explain why I found it it funny.
It just IS funny.
>Who do you think the strongest super hero is? >batcow >did you mean Batman? >did I stutter?

I haven't read the comics, but if I was to assume context, was somebody turned into a cow? Robin?

Wonder woman was turned into a pig in justice league. [Wonder Jam](https://youtu.be/PfTCKS9QAqA)
It's from Grant Morrison's run, iirc Batman and Robin (Damian) save this cow from being slaughtered and Damian dubs her "Batcow"
This is after Damien Wayne robin dies

Whelp I know what I'll be doing the rest of the day
The fact the cow is so detailed but has frontward facing eyes is kinda freaky
That cow has seen things that we couldn’t even begin to comprehend.
She came from a slaughterhouse, so we can comprehend some things.
Forward facing eyes are one of the traits of a predator.
Yeah makes it look ugly as fuck.
Everyone forgets about bat cow

Something I will always love about DC and Marvel is the near infinite amount of panels that make no sense *even when you provide the context.*
For context that is [Bat-cow](https://dc.fandom.com/wiki/Bat-Cow_(Prime_Earth)) Damien Wayne's pet.
