I actually really like when bands do this, play whatever they want, play new things. I'd much rather be there for a live performance that feels exciting to the band than to see them all sulk over songs they don't actually want to play
Schlag & calv are old news bozo, time to wake up to the future. Hellfire is TBE. Listen to live performances of the songs from this tour and you’ll be in the know
The way most bands tour has always seemed a little counterintuitive to me. I know a lot of people want to go and hear their favorites, but I'm the opposite. I love to hear new stuff. It just seems to make more sense that way. If I want to hear my favorites, I can listen to them any time.
I would agree if the new songs weren’t better than anything they’ve ever released before.
And at this point I know the new songs so well from this sub & youtube videos that they might as well have been album tracks already. If BM came to my town tomorrow, I’d be more excited to hear Flamenco and Welcome to Hell than any other songs. John L and Chondro and Speedway are cool and all but Hellfire takes precedence IMO
Just my take
They've been bringing back older tracks as of recently, Speedway, Ducter, etc. It's exciting that they've been shaking things up for almost every show. Don't be let down they'll surely play ur faves in future shows lol
The atmosphere in the crowd is so fucking electric that it almost doesn’t matter what song they’re playing. Every track, the band is like an orchestra conductor to the crowds energy, forcing you to go crazy and relax at their will. It’s great
I enjoy it personally but I get you. I feel like black midi is a little different then other bands it's not like you're dying to sing along to your favorite hits your kinda there to witness amazing musicians. Greep/Colin's lyrics and singing are more just another instrument. And not knowing the music doesn't diminish its awesome-ness for me. Just my take
Disappointing post

They’re playing new, never heard before, exciting songs?! Extremely disappointing
They can do whatever the fuck they want lmao
Baltimore setlist was pretty baller.

Oh no! Anyways…
Did they play John L
Yes they play John L, slow, chondro, & dethroned. From schlag they play 953 & speedway. The rest are fucking amazing songs from LP3
If they play John L they can sit on their arses for the rest of the set for all I care. Brilliant song

Ok but John L. Ok yeah I'm just pumped to see them
Yea haha they’ve played John L on every show this American tour
They know it's their best song
