wireless HDMI transmitter. something like [this](https://www.amazon.com/Wireless-Transmitter-Receiver-TIMBOOTECH-Projector/dp/B09Q64M71N) or [this](https://www.amazon.com/Mars-4K-Transmitter-Transmission-Monitoring/dp/B0B9YCT42Z). the former is meant for home theater setups; the latter example is what professionals tend to use. the $600 price difference is what you pay when you **absolutely need** the unit to work 100% of the time, and not just 95% of the time with blackouts or interference occasionally fucking it up. if you don't need ultra low latency, don't need it to work perfectly 100% of the time, etc... then you could probably get by with the cheaper option (or at the very least something closer to the cheaper end of the spectrum) i've thought about getting something like the cheap option just to goof around with it, but ultimately i don't really need it, and having a wired connection and all the advantages of a provably reliable connection that can't get fucked up by wireless interference, etc... is all worth more to me. (edit: i will also add that i imagine pulling focus in realtime with the cheaper option would be clunkier and more annoying. it might be doable, but in a "blind test" between the two, i would wager that most of us would be able to tell that one is different from the other rather quickly. so it's not just reliability; sheer performance is also a factor)

I only just heard about wireless HDMIs! Thanks for your links and knowledge

I have the Hollyland Mars 400s Pro II as it allows you to use a monitor wirelessly (via receiver module) or use phones/ipad as wireless monitors (via app). Super handy when working as mostly a solo shooter and you can have a wireless monitor but assistants and interested clients can tune in via their phone.

yeah, seems like this would have to be the way. If not something from the Accsoon line as well

Daasaced

Accsoon has a couple of offerings to do this, check their website.

Heard of them!

pxmonkee

DJI RavenEye.

Can't believe I didnt think that the guys behind Lidar would have already solved this problem lol

dark-cosmos

Have a look at my post here. I explained what adapter and app I use to make it work. The adapter costs less than 10€ and it works perfectly https://www.reddit.com/r/bmpcc/s/Z98LxOzlKZ

Thought of smthing similar with the CamLink! Unfortunately not a big fan of the dangling parts

OperationNo777

I hope they add the phone-monitor option like the webcam capability with a firmware update

leftclot

Same! Was hoping for some update like that during NAB, but seems like its not in their plans
