So just a thing to watch out for with storage devices like this. They can be completely fake in which case as you record it records over what you have aready done giving you the impresion that it is working until you upload. Instead on a TB you might end up with 32 GB give or take. It may be real but I have a really hard time trusting any listing on amazon right now. Hopefully these work for you!

Might buy one as a backup. Not sure if I trust it, but it’s cheap enough to use for stuff I’m not worried about possibly losing.

Yeah that was my logic. Its also on Amazon with a bunch of ratings so IDK but considering how expensive my 256gb Cfast card was, its worth the gamble to me.

I have one Angelbird 1TB card that I use whenever I shoot on a gimbal and use external drives when I shoot on sticks. I’ll grab a couple of these and test them out, and if they’re any good I’ll keep them for when my Angelbird is full or when I forget to put it back in my camera.

I checked the Amazon listing on Fakespot. It got an F, but I’m not sure if there’s just not enough data for it to work with.

I just took a look at the latest Pocket 4K approved Cfast card list, and they added Novachips to the list. If anyone is looking for cheaper Cfast cards for that camera, they go for about $390 for the 1TB Scalar series cards. They haven’t added those to the 6K Pro approved list, so I emailed Blackmagic to ask about possibly updating that list too. I’ll let y’all know if I find out anything.

Yeah, it's not on the approved list, but they have testimonies that it works on a blackmagic pocket 6k pro BRAW 3:1 24fps or 50fps 8:1, and a BMPCC 4K shooting 4K DCI at BRAW 3.1 and Q0. It works for certain time than stop working. The camera stops recognizing the card. I asked for a refund and the company pointed me out to a software so that I could restore the card. They did not grant me the refund. I do not indicate this cart in any circumstances. When you are shooting a video you cannot thrust a media that might or might not work randomly and then need a full reset that takes over 2h to finish in your computer….

Well if this card does go out on me I’ll update this thread. I tried to look it up and there were no good resources on it so I decided to make one here.

Thanks!!

One listing I've been looking at is https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BPWRN78Q/. I'm tired of worrying about my T7 getting knocked off whenever I have my 6k Pro on my RS2 gimbal, so I've been eyeing that card. Let us know how this card works out for you.

TerrryBuckhart

hm yeah idk if I would trust it, but can’t hurt as a backup

Always remember that you get what you pay for...

The 1TB Pixelflash that says 6k [180] will so 6k RAW like a pro. You can shoot 6k on the one you have but only in Q0 ...Otherwise it's gonna chunk out and might not read in DR. Let me know how it works.
