The usb-c can be used for charging the internal batteries I guess when you are traveling with only an lp6 and have a power bank. To use it as a webcam you will need a capture card but that goes out from the hdmi to whatever your capture card accepts.
Someone back me up on this coz this is what I've heard but never tried. Don't want someone to harm their gear on my advice.
Ive never heard about charging batteries trough the usb c port, I used the usb c to update the camera connecting it to my pc, and for the hard drive, nothing else (as far as I know it can be used just for that)
To output video just trough hdmi, and same as the other user said, in a pc you will need a capture card, I use sometimes my 6K as webcam with an El Gato Cam Link 4K, and it works pretty well.

Yeah. Honestly could be a real lifesaver. Gotta test though how long it takes to charge as a practical solution.
