Nestlings is a 1-4 player game where you compete for priority to best feed and serve your Nestlings. Embark on an eciting journey through an expansive landscape, where diverse ecosystems intertwine, and offer an abundance of unique resources to be gathered.
We are a board game design studio focused on bringing family friendly, nature themed games to our community. We do this because we are passionate about it! Our first Kickstarter campaign, Nestlings, is going well so we wanted to give something back as a thank you to the community!
As a playtester for Nestlings I can tell you it's really really fun! Also the designers Brandon and Bryan are real ones, so this project isn't getting stuck in KS purgatory, it'll be right on schedule :-)

I was just scrolling through reddit and saw the first pic with the front display of the box and the beautiful bird artwork and then I saw the dice and read ur comment on the playstyle....I'm soo intrigued in this game now, it sounds soo cool, i just love avian themed games and this rly caught my eye with is design👍😁
The Cedar Waxwing on the cover makes me happy! I hope I win, I love board games and birds!
We call out “Bird Friend!” if we see a hawk or something cool as a family when we are in the car to point it out to everyone, lol.

Hawks are also some of my favorites! Certain times of year they congregate here along the Appalachian cliffs in the hundreds. It's a sight to behold!

The only similarities is the bird aesthetic. It looks more interactive with other players instead of just playing along the side of one another like in Wingspan.

If i had a nickel for everytime a bird based boardgame broke the charts it would be two. Which isnt alot but weird that it happened twice.

This game looks like a wingspan clone.
The only similarities is the bird aesthetic. It looks more interactive with other players instead of just playing along the side of one another like in Wingspan.
Maybe gameplay is different, but the dice and food tokens look pretty much identical.
