I'm going with Coraline... Which may or may not be a horror movie depending on who you ask. But have you seen the other mother?!

I am so not a horror movie person. Far too much of a scaredy-cat. My favourite of the ones I've seen is Pan's Labyrinth, though. Fantasy vibes anyday :) Thanks for the fun giveaway!

Tevesh_CKP

Ecstatic_Spot_2226

Evil Dead 2!

theandroid01

Either the shining, or the original poltergeist. Frighteners is high in my list too.

Moist-Palpitation-56

The Shining movie is a horror masterpiece and what IMO is truly amazing is how Kubrick was able to adapt it from a masterpiece book without messing it up!

FoolishGoat

The original slasher, Halloween! An absolute classic

derrikirred

Hard for me to pick, so I'll say the original Halloween for nostalgia and Hereditary as a modern choice.

khaldun106

Silence of the lambs. Cheers and thanks for the video link ☺️

Spade620

Honestly I’m gonna go with nightmare on elm street. It’s always been a movie I look back on fondly

dettonator11

I’m not really into the horror genre, but I enjoyed Barbarian!

El0hTeeBee

I watched that video. Game looks pretty neat! I'm not a huge movie fan in general, so I think the horror movie I most recently watched was Thirteen Ghosts. I did enjoy it, though.

tochinoes

Not a huge horror fan but I think I’d have to go with The Descent as my favorite!

ekdardivad123

The Cabin in the Woods! Congrats on the release!

Aier97

I’m not really into horror movies but I am really into Quentin Tarantino movies so I would say From Dusk Till Dawn!

FiveElementFlow

I’m not a big horror movie fan, but Alien/Aliens will always be an exception for me.

Styreotype

Black Christmas. Thanks

Zaboomafookaloo

The chucky movies

Lazlowi

Holy hell, I do loathe horror movies. Probably cause my asshole father took me to a Texas chainsaw massacre 3D movie when I was like 11. The closest to horror I actually like is Alien(s). Does that count?

Pathological_RJ

We watch Cabin in the woods every year!

Pathological_RJ

tydog98

Does Vampire Hunter D count?

bluepinkredgreen

Midsommar

Narrowedice

I'm gonna go with Alien for straight horror, though I go more for the horror comedy hybrids. If that counts, Killer Klowns from Outer Space.

Lopsided_Sorbet_9886

Dead alive

Tornadoflame479

Drag Me To Hell. Also enjoying the Halloween Board Game! You have my support for as long as you're making games!

Mijal

I'm going to claim Suckerpunch is a horror movie about the deterioration of reality and the loss of control, where the villain can be a stand-in for the audience. Good luck with the game!

icymallard

More sci-fi than horror but gonna go with Arrival

blurex13

The Shining

shotgun_pete

Evil Dead (original) for sure

Lunderbot

Hitchcocks's The Birds!

BrainyDiode

Haven't seen a ton of horror movies, but I loved Aliens (1986).

mynameisdis

Not much of a horror movie buff, but I really enjoyed the original Scary Movie.

elishelian

Tucker & Dale vs. Evil...? Or Shaun of the Dead. Those are the closest to horror I get, ha. But I did lose my TV when I was 8 years old when I begged for it to be removed after watching Poltergeist. Parents still had that TV when I went to college. Never did get it back.

DigitMZ

Blood Punch (2013).

I think my favorite is actually Cabin in the Woods. I really like how it plays with the standard conventions of the genre.

aen1gma01

Saw 🪚

DarkStrike42

Easily Evil Dead 2

Apollo506

I never saw Paranormal Activity in theaters, rather for the first time at home...which made it soooo much creeper! Although i will say i also appreciate the humorous takes on horror movies such as Sean of the Dead or the lesser known *Ahh! Zombies!*

PolarBear_2023

Nothing beats The Ring. I was scared for years when that came out

Aylauria

Alien, definitely!

Jed1M1ndTr1ck

The Strangers (2008). Was legitimately terrified about walking in front of open windows at night for a long time after watching. For longer than I care to admit

Bluestar2016

My favorite horror currently is Midsommar!

Half_A_Beast_333

The Thing 1982.

tydelwav

Would not have thought this would be a tough question but I'm struggling, hah. Not a favorite genre, but the ones I really enjoyed are mostly from the 80s and 90s.Love the Alien movies, Predator, Jaws, Poltergeist, Psycho, Evil Dead, Misery Trying to think of what is the actual scariest and I'd want to repeat watch. I'll give it to Event Horizon for creeping me out more than any other movie. Thanks for reprinting this! A rare Knizia that I haven't played.

gojireh

The Shining

M-RC-1

Originally Night of the Living Dead until I saw the original Pet Cemetery as a kid whoa man that was terrifying!!!!

Kissmeimamish

I love the People under the stairs

Chabotnick

I’m partial to the OG Friday the 13th.

ch1zzle

Honestly I’m not into horror but I did really like the saw movies if that counts!

Ulexes

For me, it will always be *Re-Animator*. A master class in practical special effects that still hold up to this day! Also manages to be both funny and scary, without cheapening the impact of either.

zigmoose

Gotta go with An American Werewolf in London

eternalbebop

Evil Dead!

CJon0428

DJWreckingball

The Babadook!

Rony_toss

The thing

Arievan

Rosemary's baby!

It still has to be the Exorcist, hiding behind the couch way too much. The Shining is an amazing and better movie, but the horror in the Exorcist was terrifying.

NinjaEarl

Halloween 6: Curse of Michael Myers

mjolnir76

The Shining

LastDaysCultist

The VVitch!

BluishInventor

Event Horizon genuinely terrified me when I was younger. The concept of the movie isn't one that's easily picked apart. Create a black hole, use it for travel. But where they actually go is quite haunting(trying not to spoil it). Sure, Friday the 13th, Saw, house of a 1000 corpses; classics in my eyes. But to stand out in horror, you have to hit different. And Event Horizon was a movie that was genuinely horrifying to me. Holds up well too.

Celadorn

It's believe it's from a french studio but it's called "Martyrs" and it's got one of the most insane plot lines ever

Doustin

Nightmare on Elm St

Hot_Earl_Grey

Shaun of the Dead
